Parking here gives you 2 hours free, which is great if you are stopping here. The employees were super nice, but the food/drinks themselves weren't something to go home about. The shop isn't very big, and is quite loud when it does fill up, so keep in mind you might have to get to-go. read more

I came to this restaurant and ordered a Matcha and some sandwiches with a friend and I will say for the price of the sandwiches. This was definitely not worth it. The chocolate almond croissant was delicious and much larger than I was expecting. The barista delivered the latte I ordered to my corner table which was a nice, welcoming touch. Quiet calm ambiance with seat mates chatting while others did computer work. Quit small but not to crowded. Lots of front patio seating as well. I was in the area and craving a cup of coffee, so I popped into Cafe Vendome. It instantly gave me Paris patisserie/boulangerie vibes. There a case of pastries that will make your mouth water and a separate case of French desserts that made me reminisce of my days in France. There are a ton of little tables and it would be a perfect place to meet a friend to catch chat up for coffee and chit chat. I - sadly - didn't stay; I took my coffee and croissants to-go and can't wait to dive into the flaky layers. So, I gave it 4* and am describing something more ... why? For what you get, It's really, really expensive. A coffee was $5.99 and $5+ for croissants. Looks like a new place. Limited free parking outside. I ordered lavender oatmilk latte to go. It is absolutely robbery to charge $0.50 for a to go cup, especially when a 12oz latte with flavour and alt milk is almost $10. They did not have any pastries available either. Visited this place on Thursday to do some work before my nail appt and it was such a beautiful day. The chocolate almond croissants just came out the over and were fresh! I had the honey lavender latte and it was nice as well. It had a strong coffee taste so I wasn't into it as much as I'd like. However when I go back I'll try something else! The server was so nice and cool! He was busy but taking great care and consideration of each guest. That's rare! I asked about the music and he turned it on for us as well. I came first thing in the morning (8am when they open) to get a fresh croissant on a Thursday. I was let down unfortunately. I ordered the Bonjour croissant that has Gruyère cheese with scrambled eggs. It comes with potatoes or a side salad. The Croissant was barely warm and quite flavorless, as well as the eggs. There was a dash of pepper in the middle of the eggs and that was it. With tip it ended up being 20$ which I found expensive for a breakfast meal. The place itself is a cute cafe with free wifi. The location of Cafe Vandom has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. My wife and I went there for our morning coffee and ordered one caffe latte and one double espresso. The bill came to $11.40, and I added a 20% tip. We were given a number sign to place on our table. Five minutes later, our server brought out the caffe latte and said she would return with my espresso in another ten minutes. After waiting, I went inside to ask about my coffee. The server checked the register and then informed me that she had mistakenly placed my espresso in my wife's latte and refused to make a new one. As a businessman, I'm appalled by how I was treated. Even if she did put my espresso in my wife's cup, she should have apologized and made me a new one. The lady at the front desk was so rude. I asked her if I can have my coffee in a mug please, she gave me an attitude, and said " of course if it's for here, the it's in a mug." I love nothing more than a hot cappuccino, a comfy place to set up my "work from wherever" station, and some pretty decor to enjoy the ambiance, and that's exactly what I always enjoy here at Cafe Vendome. I'm so easily distracted, it's so vital to find public workspaces that allow me to focus and be at peace without numerous distractions and love that I now have a spot to enjoy that. I was introduced to this super cute cafe by my wonderful coworker and each visit reminds me of why it's a fave of hers, and now mine! With an extensive menu that includes all sorts of caffeine imaginable and the most delicious looking pastries - everrrr. Omg, eclairs covered in rich chocolate, macarons in the colors of an Easter rainbow, and omg, the breads! I know that the super sweet cashier is so sick of hearing me ask about the pastries, see me practically drooling over the POS system but never buying any. LOL! I'm not usually a sweets girl and have usually eaten lunch by then but I SWEAR I'm going to get one next time! (To the wonderful team member who usually rings me up, I promise, sis!!) Things you should know: I. PARKING There's free 2 hour parking along the street Café Vendôme is located. It can be difficult to find a spot on weekends since this area gets rather popular. II. SERVICE Very thoughtful & accommodating. The owner makes it very personable & homey. III. QUALITY I got an iced Americano. It was a little watered down for my preference, but I like my coffee very dense and acidic. Not everyone likes it as rich as me. IV. CAPACITY An available seat was always open during my stay. One of my favorite breakfast is a good French breakfast so Café Vendôme in Sandy Springs was up next to check out on my breakfast list. Let me start off with the good The place is spotless and neat, the music they play is A+ and the big painted wall on the background of an outdoor Cafe of what I assume to be in France is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious as well. The issue I have with Cafe Vendome is the items you see pictured here, plus a chocolate croissant, almond croissant + tip was quite expensive... and I mean overly expensive. I don't mind paying for good food and a nice environment to eat my food in but it feels like they are high on cost just because of the area they are in. Because of this, although i would say I enjoyed their food, I can't say I'd go back or recommend anyone to go, unless you want to easily spend almost $100 on a few items. @ddfmariettaroswell in Roswell is still my undisputed favorite French breakfast spot Pictured here Croque Monsieur - It was tasty but their choice of bread was not my favorite. Very cute cafe in Sandy Springs! After having lived in France for several years, I can 100% say this is the most authentic baguette that I have found in the Atlanta area. It tastes like it came straight from a Parisian boulangerie. The decor is cute, a little cliché but I definitely think that the food here is amazing. This is the closest you can get to an actually bakery in France without having to buy a plane ticket lol. I haven't tried all of their desserts and pastries yet but you can immediately tell by looking at them that they are trop bons. My book club met here. It was a nice place to meet. Clean, pretty quiet. I unfortunately ordered a "fresh squeezed" orange juice. I am 95% sure that what they gave me was maybe the frozen kind of orange juice with pulp. Suffice it to say that it tasted like no fresh squeezed I have ever had, was too sweet and simply not right. It's either a hit or miss. Miss in the sense that they don't always have certain things available or seem to run out of them quite a bit. Hit because the cafe has the offerings and selections it does for pastries, desserts, and other foods in the area. I like going particularly for the desserts. The kitchen closes a bit early in comparison to the actual close time of the business. Like about an hour or so. I stopped at Cafe Vendome for a quick bite on a Saturday early afternoon. I have been to the original location further down Roswell Road near Buckhead a couple times and was excited to see one slightly closer to me. There is limited parking right in front of the cafe, but plentiful of covered deck parking further into the City Springs center. This cafe is slightly smaller than the other location, but we found seating near the register. I ordered a latte and the hot chicken curry tartine. I've always loved the curry tartine but for some reason, it wasn't the big plentiful tartine I remember. The side salad it came with was also a bit odd, topped with cut up green beans. Meh. I should have gone with the potatoes. The latte was standard - something I would gladly sip on all morning with a book. Overall, the food is ok but the coffee is good. I would love to stop in for a pastry or dessert next time. According to the website, this location is closed until further notice, but you can get still visit the other location. Really disappointing. I'm from Europe and went here based on the reviews that it was authentically like a cafe at home. Not in my opinion. The espresso macchiato was so bad I returned it and explained how to make one. The presentation was horrendous also and for $5.00 you expect more. The coffee they use is extremely bitter and the tea and food item I wanted were not available. The staff member had no idea what what was in the filling of the dessert I asked about so I didn't order any food item. The so have wifi, a definite plus. I was there early afternoon and for the most part was the only customer. The other guy was working from there on his laptop and didn't purchase anything while I was there. This behavior always confused me. How are they supposed to turn a profit? I ordered a black coffee twice. First time was VERY thick, slimy and sour. My bf took a sip and spit it out. I had to toss it. Second time, not slimy but still very sour. Cafe Vendome is a great little coffee shop in the Sandy Springs area. I've only been here once so I don't have much to say besides this place had all that I needed to work remotely! I came here on a Friday morning and parking was a breeze. There is a parking deck around the corner with plenty of open spots. Inside the coffee shop though it was pretty busy. There were plenty of tables inside so I quickly snagged one in the corner. Since there is only 1 register the line stays long. I took my first conference call from my table before getting a chance to place an order. I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and a croissant. The croissant was delicious- perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. The chai latte was disappointing. It looked beautiful but the consistency underneath the foam was so watered down, not creamy at all. Overall, I'm pleased with the fast wifi, number of tables and variety of options on the menu. This is the only place the brings me back to Paris since I have returned from the real thing. Authentic, Authentic, AUTHENTIC! The coffee and bread are to die for! I love their crepe brûlée too! I highly recommend trying anything off their menu as I have never been disappointed! I even love their complimentary fruit infused water! The owner is for Paris and is formally trained as a Parisian Pastry Chef. Nothing beats Paris, but when you can't go to Paris on a whim, this is my favorite option.
