Harvest strawberry salad
Pat M.

I used to like Cafe Zupas so much, but every time I've been there recently the food is so average. I added chicken to the salad and it was like 2.50 and you get like three pieces. The side bread was also kind of gross. I accidentally order a nutella and strawberry sandwich which isn't Zupas fault, but it was so gross. Overall, I can't say this $20 meal was worth it.

Pick Try 2 Combo

This location is available on Uber Eats and I've ordered a couple times to the office. I've also visited this location once in person and really liked the layout for a quick service cafe location. Love the freshness of the food & enjoy the chocolate dipped strawberry- what a nice touch!

A breading strip. No chicken to be found.

In an effort to grab a quick and somewhat healthy bite after a class at the gym nearby, we thought we would order ahead and eat in. What a mistake. This restaurant is swarming - swarming! - with flies. The back wall was speckled with bugs. The Diet Coke was out. It happens, I get it. They did reconcile it by the time I was out, to their credit. The food was possibly the worst part. Salads are unappetizing. Soups are fine. And then...my daughter's chicken strips. The featured picture is of a chicken strip that is entirely devoid of meat. It's all breading. It's inedible. I believe all of my complaints are fixable, if addressed. But this was depressing.

Lobster bisque soup

My girlfriend and I had lunch at Cafe Zupas today and it was solid! It gave me a Panera Bread/deli kind of vibe, and we were both pretty hungry so we each did the pick 2 combo with a soup and a sandwich. I chose the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich on white bread and the lobster bisque. My lady got the ultimate grilled cheese and tomato basil soup for her pick 2 with a Powerade. I went with the vitamin water for my soft drink. My sandwich was served cold but I kind of wished the chicken was served hot. The white bread was nice and soft, and it was decently filling. The lobster bisque soup was delicious, however my main complaint was that it wasn't hot enough and the portion could've been a little fuller for my preference. My girlfriend loves the tomato basil soup here and raves about it often. She said they could've gone lighter on the pesto on her sandwich, even though she loves her pesto. I was dunking my sandwich in the chipotle ranch and it was very good. Cafe Zupas has plenty of eating space, and the interior of the restaurant was pretty cleanly. Fast casual service was on point and the workers were cool. It's not my favorite place to eat but it's certainly not bad by my standards. I would come back here!

Today I was at Chandler Mall area and intended to dine at Cheesecake Factory. But their system was down and it would be 2 hours to come back up (estimated). I saw Zupa across the street and decided to eat here. We love Zupas, seriously though just not this location. I checked in and Yelp gave me a $5 of $15 so I thought to my self that's nice! We waited for awhile to get our food. They had a lot of to gos and the soup lady just made us waited there and helped us after she finished all the to go orders of soup. Why is that? We are present. And the cashier told me she cannot give me $5 off if there was no barcode. Somehow Yelp set me up to fail! But the food was great!

How the chickpea vegetable soup used to look vs.
Alyssa M.

Love Zupas but whoever is making the chickpea vegetable soup has been adding wayyy too much broccoli to the soup. This soup used to taste so good but for the last month it has been mostly just broccoli in it, making the soup taste completely different and not good at all. Please go back to the original way the chickpea vegetable soup was made! It's not even the right color anymore and barely has any other vegetables in it.

My friends chose this place and I must say that the Food was fresh, customer service was immaculate, and I enjoyed the environment.

In detox mode so I'm looking for the best salad's in Chandler. Today while running errands I stopped by Cafe Zupas. I got a create your own salad with mixed greens, tofu, black beans, corn, cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, avocado, & strawberry vinaigrette. Overall the salad was good but the tofu was very bland & a waste of the extra $3. I definitely won't get them again.

Hail to the king, hail to the King of Gyros!…read more I've been to their location on Warner and Priest many times as I worked close by for a few years, and then drove by this Price and Willis location a few weeks back and was excited to see a location closer to my current office! King of Gyros is a perfect lunch destination! If you want a great meal to fill you up for awhile at a reasonable price, go with the pita specials or salad. If you're looking for more food and sides, the plates are an excellent option. Their pitas are the best around...excellent meats (chicken shawarma is my favorite...marinated, juicy, beautiful auburn color) accompanied by the right amount of tzatziki or garlic sauce (not overpowering like many places) and beautiful veggies (lettuce, onion, tomato). You can also get them 'spicy' where they adorn it with hot peppers...highly recommended if you like a kick! Their plates and salads are also excellent as you can taste the quality of the product and preparation they put into their food. The interior of this location is a little smaller that the Warner and Priest location. On the west wall is a huge city skyline mural that's pretty awesome to dine under. They additionally have a small semi-covered patio. The workers are friendly and the food comes out in about 5 minutes. Finally, they have a traditional Coke fountain and a Gold Peak tea dispenser for beverages, or you can grab something out of the case (sparking waters, Jarritos bottles, energy drinks, etc). I will be coming back to this place at least once a month for lunch!

Let me start by saying I would love to give them 5/5 because the potential is there but one thing…read morecaused that not to happen. Terribly dry chicken that I paid $8 for. I ordered Greek Fries. They do not offer Greek Fries with any protein and I wanted chicken on my Greek fries so I asked if I could add chicken. They guy ringing me up said yes and added an additional $7.99 to my bill. I also added a side of garlic sauce. Total bill $16. Greek fries are $6, garlic sauce $.75 and chicken $8. More than I wanted to pay for a workday lunch but oh well too late to change things now. This place is actually cozy and clean. They have upstairs seating too. Very inviting environment. There are plenty of offerings on the menu. Prices seem fair for the most part (except for $8 for chicken, very dry chicken on my Greek fries). The Greek fries themselves were fantastic! There was a side of what I think was Greek dressing to pour over the fries which were covered in feta cheese. Absolutely delicious! Adding chicken was a mistake on my part. Then again, they really shouldn't charge $8 for dry ass chicken. There was no amount of sauce to make this chicken go down easy. I ended up pushing the chicken off to the side and throwing it away. Lesson learned. Will I be back? Yes! Will I ever order chicken for my fries again? No!

Tried again on a Wednesday. We were able to place order immediately. It's worth it! Green Corner- It's Tucked away in a strip mall in Chandler, this Mediterranean restaurant is all it's hyped up to be. Customer service was excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try more from the menu.

Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

This most recent visit we ate outside as we had our dog with with us. There was one other party and even though it was late June, the patio was covered and the misters were nice, so it was very comfortable. Our server was friendly and although it seemed like she was new, if she didn't know the answer to our questions she happily asked her peers for the answer. We had a few hiccups but she was very apologetic and nice about it. We ordered the meatball Ferris wheel, kids cheese pizza, and hot Sicilian pizza. I thought it was really cool how the Ferris wheel actually spun. I did think the polenta would be a bigger portion and served on the side. (They put the polenta in each meatball cup) The meatballs were a good size and tasted pretty good. One of them was topped with Calabrian chili and it was really good. It may have been their monthly special. The kids pizza was a good size for our toddler and you could tell it wasn't frozen cheese pizza. The cheese was good and I like that it comes with a drink. I think it also comes with a dessert but our server didn't offer it and we didn't think we needed it. They did bring the pizza out piping hot and considering it's for a kid I would have appreciated if they let it cool a bit instead of bringing it fresh out the oven. The pizza was amazing and had such good flavor. I loved the ricotta and hot honey. I just wish it was a little bigger, but with the meatballs it was more than enough for two people. We don't eat Italian often but would definitely be back when we do.

I loved this little nook as it was quieter. What We Ordered: - Red Wine: My coworker ordered this, and remarked how much she enjoyed. Takes an edge off the work week, and a great pairing of catching up while I was onsite at the Phoenix office. - Curious Cocktail: The temperature of the day we dined was 111° and I needed something refreshing. They didn't have a Spritz on the menu, so I went with this. I did enjoy the flavor, but could only have one of these as pretty sweet. - Heirloom Tomato Toast: This was the perfect start to the meal, and the vibrancy of the heirloom tomatoes was refreshing. I really enjoyed the miso aioli as it really complimented the tomatoes. - Side of Crispy Potatoes: Sometimes you just need some carbs, and these hit the spot for a starter before entrees though it is listed as a side. - Dry Rub Chicken Wings: These were decent for wings, but I think I would refrain from ordering again as the sauce choices just weren't great. - Mercato Sourdough Pizza: My coworker throughly enjoyed this pizza, and it intrigued me to return to order one as I couldn't have this one (pesto). - Orange Olive Oil Cake: This was perfection! The salted honey whip + berry coulis helped balance out the denseness and tartness of the orange olive oil cake. Genuinely a contender for my favorite dessert this summer, and I've had a few when spending 15+ days traveling for work. I'd definitely would return here, and one of my new favorite spots in Downtown Chandler!
