Overall a very average takeout style spot. There is seating indoors, but you'll be given takeout style containers when served. This does make it a little easier to take any leftovers to go because you can grab a lid later. The inside is very clean. You likely won't see too many other guests eating in as most get takeout. Service is frank and prompt. Ever since some of our favorite long time local hand pulled noodle places closed over the years, my partner and I have been on the search for any kind of replacement. Unfortunately, Kung Fu Noodles does not live up to that for us. You have to approach this restaurant with takeout in mind. Portion sizing is pretty generous. The food itself is very okay. For starters, this is a review specifically for the DoorDash version of kung fu noodles. I actually just realized that I'm not even sure if this is the correct location but since I live in Gilbert, I'm going to assume this was the one that was delivered to me. Either way, The food we received was the bomb.com! We were hanging out and watching movies on a Saturday while my lady was nursing a bit of a cold. She wanted something in the chicken noodle soup family, and after a bit of back-and-forth, we decided to look for Ramen or pho. Now that's where the start started, but that's clearly not where it ended. After a couple of different searches, we found kung fu noodle And simply picked it based on a combination of the pictures, the reviews and the fact that they have several noodle soup options that looked really appealing. Ultimately, we ended up ordering the spicy beef noodle soup, and the house special noodle soup along with their dumplings, crab Rangoon's and fried rice. Now, usually I skip straight to the review of the food at this point, but I have to give them one additional compliment. This place goes the extra mile in terms of making sure the delivery experience is Extra level. Starting with their packaging, which, for someone who is infatuated with great design, they really do a great job of driving home the full brand experience! Not only were the package is aesthetically, pleasing and artistic in some cases, but they were also very functional as well with all of the plastic containers having sealed lids that had to be broken open for the first time by us. This was just extra assurance that our food wasn't tampered with on the ride from the restaurant to the house. In addition, the food was extremely fresh and hot, even the crab Rangoon's, which in some cases can be delivered with that wet, gummy effect because of the steam and condensation that accumulates inside of many of the take-home containers that you receive from most Asian food places. I wouldn't argue that this is the kind of containers that you would necessarily keep around as home Tupperware, but the bag that they sent everything in definitely feels like it's gotta reuse or two in it. Overall, we were really happy with the quality of the food as both Soups were portion wise enough for two consecutive days of meals. Same thing with the fried rice, which was really good We got the shrimp version and it had plenty of shrimp and veggies in addition to really fresh rice. Lastly, while I'm not specifically a dumpling guy, I decided to try these because the pictures looked really good on the website. And I can't lie, these were definitely really Good dumplings. Overall, we are looking forward to trying to spot out in person, but if we have to order again before we make it in person, that's what it is going to be! read more

This is a complaint about the environment of this restaurant. They don't offer bathroom access even to paying customers who are dining in. It is a dining restaurant with several tables inside. This is generally considered illegal in Arizona to not offer restrooms to customers in a dining establishment. It presents health risk for not allowing customer to wash your hands at least, and also customer who have certain medical conditions that requires frequent usage of bathroom. read more

I have been here about three times. I dined in the first two times and my most recent order I ordered takeaway. The beef noodle soup is my go to! The hand pulled noodles are fresh and bouncy and they do not skimp on the portions! Their dumplings are dumplings hard to mess those up. My first time ordering takeaway tonight I decided to try their spicy dishes.. on the higher end of spicy however tolerable but I may go back to regular. Also had choice of rice noodle or hand pulled noodle.. So of course I went for hand pulled regular thickness. $14.99 for the dish seemed little bit on the high end but not too crazy. They had free water bottle in the cooler which was nice. My dish came out in decent time, but I was very disappointed to see it in a plastic bowl. Picture on the menu shows bowl, I can understand if it was to go but dine in served on a plastic throw away bowl seemed tacky and waste of plastic. Soup tasted pretty yummy, not spicy what so ever. The BFF and I were hungry for some Asian food and this place has been on my list. I was surprised they were t crowded on a Saturday. Oft but great for us. It's a small space and very clean. Everything we got was tasty and fresh. My fave were the dumplings and the sauce hey we're in. The BroccoliBeef was soooo tender and flavorful. I just wish we got the steamed rice on the side, as it was drenched with all the sauce. (Voted for next time). Nothing to do with the good, but we were surprised they didn't have a restroom or place to wash hands. So keep that in mind when you go. read more

Updated review July 9, 2025: What a bummer... things have turned worse for this place. I ordered a DanDan Noodles and a braised beef noodles (request thick noodles customization) to-go. Upon getting home, it's disappointing to open the perfect sealed beautiful bag and found out that there were no thick noodles. Half way through the meal, we also found a piece of metal from what looked like a metal scouring pad. Unfortunately, this was a to-go order and too late to drive back 20 minutes to ask for a remake of the food. Still gave 3 stars because the food still tasted good. We dined during a Saturday afternoon. I do like the kiosk option to place orders. Tables space very limited. I tried the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. This soup broth was more savory and flavorful with an added hint of spice than their signature broth. The XLBs were decent and juicy soup fillings. (Formerly KungFu Ramen) I knew I had to give this place a try, as I'm a huge fan of their sister location. Upon entry, this eatery immediately gives off "to-go" vibes. With their kiosk ordering station, minimal tables, and food served in plastic to go style containers, it definitely doesn't offer the welcoming sit down feel as their sister restaurant. With a few different offerings from appetizers, noodle soups and "from the wok" style classic dishes such as orange chicken & Mongolian beef, their variety is wider than I expected! We both opted for Spicy Beef Noodle soup with beef brisket. I really was surprised to see my dish served in a disposable bowl. Aside from this, the soups looked fantastic and the aromas of the broth had me excited to dig in. Incredible flavor!! Ever since Nan Zhou in Mesa closed their doors, I have been searching for a hand drawn noodle place that could help satisfy my noodle cravings. The food is pretty darn good. We got the orange chicken with hand pulled noodles, some hot chili dumplings, and the dan dan noodles. All three were great. The orange chicken is on the sweet and sour side, reminiscent of Peking pork chop style sauce. While Joyce likes the more savory varient, I like the sweet style. Dan Dan noodles are always something we order if they're on the menu, and Kungfu Noodles makes a tasty version. The hot chili dumplings were nothing stellar, and I don't think we will be ordering it again. We like it here. It just opened so there was nobody else there yet. I would say around noon the lunch rush came in and the place was packed. You can place your order at the kiosk or with one of the staff you front. Then you take a seat and wait for your food to be ready. They had complimentary bottled water in the fridge up front so that was nice. The eats - Xiao long bao - yum. The soup is hooot which feels legit. Lols So make sure you blow first! Braised beef soup - this was ok. The broth was really light and I wish there was more flavor. So I added the extra chili oil and sauce on our tables and it was better. Chili oil dumplings - yum Spicy chicken with potatoes and noodles - good flavor, spice was manageable. The chicken was good but if you had told me the noodles were frozen microwaved noodles I probably wouldn't have been surprised. We also got some vegetable egg rolls and those were good. Bright interior where you could order at a touchscreen kiosk and your food is brought out to you. The noodle dishes had a lot of flavor. The potstickers were crispy and delicious. So we technically did not go into the store. We saw it driving and decided to DoorDash it. When I say it was spectacular, I really mean that. We ordered combination lo mien. The noodles tasted as if they were homemade and very fresh. We also ordered beef and broccoli. The broccoli was good to perfection and the beef was not chewy like a lot of other restaurants. I've tried. You can tell it was cooked very carefully as to not have make it chewy yet still keep it flavorful. The packaging that it arrived in was great because it was secure for the DoorDasher to deliver. On DoorDash they had a special for Thai tea. Now, normally I don't mix my Boba with restaurants however, this Thai tea was impeccable. I could tell the Boba was very fresh and not still as if they made the Boba yesterday. I would definitely order from here again if I'm ever in the Chandler area, we were here on a girls trip at an Airbnb and decided to try something locally instead of eating at the house.
