10/10 Best noodles and dumplings I've had in Arizona. Skip Din Tai Fung and come here instead.

Came to try this place today. We got the spicy dumplings, orange chicken and shrimp fried noodles. The spicy dumplings were soft but the sauce is so thin it doesn't coat the dumplings, sauce was a little too heavy on vinegar. Orange chicken was not good at all. It was like niblets of fried curds instead of pure breaded chicken. No flavor at all and a waste. The shrimp fried noodle was actually incredible though. 10/10 reccomend. But didn't taste far much better than local Chinese shops The tables were all Sticky and there was no bathroom. Unless I'm really craving the noodles from here I likely won't be returning read more

Overall a very average takeout style spot. There is seating indoors, but you'll be given takeout style containers when served. This does make it a little easier to take any leftovers to go because you can grab a lid later. The inside is very clean. You likely won't see too many other guests eating in as most get takeout. Service is frank and prompt. Ever since some of our favorite long time local hand pulled noodle places closed over the years, my partner and I have been on the search for any kind of replacement. Unfortunately, Kung Fu Noodles does not live up to that for us. You have to approach this restaurant with takeout in mind. Portion sizing is pretty generous. The food itself is very okay. With so many other takeout places to compete in the area, my partner and I likely won't return. read more

Got the House Stir Fry Noodle and asked to add vegetables to it and Chili Dumplings. Both delicious. The dumplings have a flavor that's new to me and really enjoyed it. Beware, this is really meant to be a takeout place and I wish that was more clear to avoid some of the negative reviews, but it is odd to not have a bathroom in a food establishment. In any case, check out the silverware. Quality chop sticks, fork, spoon, and even a toothpick. Great stuff! read more

You order on a kiosk by the counter. Seating is limited, there's three tables of four and two tables of two. The dining area was tidy. There's no public bathroom. Your food is served in disposable tableware when dining in. I had leftovers so it was easy to pack it up. I enjoyed my beef noodle soup! The broth was flavorful. Food is so yummy, the service is amazing, and the boba is some of the best I've had! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The drinks were made perfectly and paired really well with the meal. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. I was near by so I said why not.. Even though I just came back from China on vaca.. You can never have enough noodle dish Nice clean small restaurant and friendly staff. You can plaveb your own order or at the counter. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup.. Had choice of shank or brisket and I was told brisket was more fatty so I picked brisket. Also had choice of rice noodle or hand pulled noodle.. So of course I went for hand pulled regular thickness. $14.99 for the dish seemed little bit on the high end but not too crazy. They had free water bottle in the cooler which was nice. My dish came out in decent time, but I was very disappointed to see it in a plastic bowl. Picture on the menu shows bowl, I can understand if it was to go but dine in served on a plastic throw away bowl seemed tacky and waste of plastic. Soup tasted pretty yummy, not spicy what so ever. Brisket pieces was nice and fatty. Noodle was also pretty darn good. Nice and chewy noodles. Over all dish was pretty good and I would come back here and try some other dishes. read more

This is a complaint about the environment of this restaurant. They don't offer bathroom access even to paying customers who are dining in. It is a dining restaurant with several tables inside. This is generally considered illegal in Arizona to not offer restrooms to customers in a dining establishment. It presents health risk for not allowing customer to wash your hands at least, and also customer who have certain medical conditions that requires frequent usage of bathroom. read more

Updated review July 9, 2025: What a bummer... things have turned worse for this place. I ordered a DanDan Noodles and a braised beef noodles (request thick noodles customization) to-go. Upon getting home, it's disappointing to open the perfect sealed beautiful bag and found out that there were no thick noodles. Half way through the meal, we also found a piece of metal from what looked like a metal scouring pad. Unfortunately, this was a to-go order and too late to drive back 20 minutes to ask for a remake of the food. Still gave 3 stars because the food still tasted good. The BFF and I were hungry for some Asian food and this place has been on my list. I was surprised they were t crowded on a Saturday. Oft but great for us. It's a small space and very clean. Everything we got was tasty and fresh. My fave were the dumplings and the sauce hey we're in. The BroccoliBeef was soooo tender and flavorful. I just wish we got the steamed rice on the side, as it was drenched with all the sauce. (Voted for next time). Nothing to do with the good, but we were surprised they didn't have a restroom or place to wash hands. So keep that in mind when you go. read more

For starters, this is a review specifically for the DoorDash version of kung fu noodles. I actually just realized that I'm not even sure if this is the correct location but since I live in Gilbert, I'm going to assume this was the one that was delivered to me. Either way, The food we received was the bomb.com! We were hanging out and watching movies on a Saturday while my lady was nursing a bit of a cold. She wanted something in the chicken noodle soup family, and after a bit of back-and-forth, we decided to look for Ramen or pho. Now that's where the start started, but that's clearly not where it ended. After a couple of different searches, we found kung fu noodle And simply picked it based on a combination of the pictures, the reviews and the fact that they have several noodle soup options that looked really appealing. Ultimately, we ended up ordering the spicy beef noodle soup, and the house special noodle soup along with their dumplings, crab Rangoon's and fried rice. Now, usually I skip straight to the review of the food at this point, but I have to give them one additional compliment. This place goes the extra mile in terms of making sure the delivery experience is Extra level. Starting with their packaging, which, for someone who is infatuated with great design, they really do a great job of driving home the full brand experience! Not only were the package is aesthetically, pleasing and artistic in some cases, but they were also very functional as well with all of the plastic containers having sealed lids that had to be broken open for the first time by us. This was just extra assurance that our food wasn't tampered with on the ride from the restaurant to the house. In addition, the food was extremely fresh and hot, even the crab Rangoon's, which in some cases can be delivered with that wet, gummy effect because of the steam and condensation that accumulates inside of many of the take-home containers that you receive from most Asian food places. I wouldn't argue that this is the kind of containers that you would necessarily keep around as home Tupperware, but the bag that they sent everything in definitely feels like it's gotta reuse or two in it. Overall, we were really happy with the quality of the food as both Soups were portion wise enough for two consecutive days of meals. Same thing with the fried rice, which was really good We got the shrimp version and it had plenty of shrimp and veggies in addition to really fresh rice. Lastly, while I'm not specifically a dumpling guy, I decided to try these because the pictures looked really good on the website. And I can't lie, these were definitely really Good dumplings. Overall, we are looking forward to trying to spot out in person, but if we have to order again before we make it in person, that's what it is going to be! read more

I have been here about three times. I dined in the first two times and my most recent order I ordered takeaway. The beef noodle soup is my go to! The hand pulled noodles are fresh and bouncy and they do not skimp on the portions! Their dumplings are dumplings hard to mess those up. My first time ordering takeaway tonight I decided to try their spicy dishes.. on the higher end of spicy however tolerable but I may go back to regular. Also their packaging for takeaway is very nicely done and comes with a sturdy insulated bag! Overall, highly recommend. read more

The restaurant's dining room was very clean. The proteins in my noodle dish were cooked well and flavorful. Cons The dumpling wrappers were too chewy and dry on the inside. The noodle dish I ordered was about 40% onions and there was oil pooling in the bottom of the bowl. Overall, it was decent but didn't really impress. First time here with a coworker who is from China! She shared that it was very authentic! Broth was flavorful. Loved the chili with the dumplings, strong vinegar taste but overall delish!! We dined during a Saturday afternoon. I do like the kiosk option to place orders. Tables space very limited. I tried the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. This soup broth was more savory and flavorful with an added hint of spice than their signature broth. The XLBs were decent and juicy soup fillings. The BBQ pork bun definitely was thumbs down from me. It tasted like fake BBQ pork. I'll still to return to try other menu items. read more

I recently found out that this eatery, is owned by the same family of KungFu Noodles in Tempe! (Formerly KungFu Ramen) I knew I had to give this place a try, as I'm a huge fan of their sister location. Upon entry, this eatery immediately gives off "to-go" vibes. With their kiosk ordering station, minimal tables, and food served in plastic to go style containers, it definitely doesn't offer the welcoming sit down feel as their sister restaurant. With a few different offerings from appetizers, noodle soups and "from the wok" style classic dishes such as orange chicken & Mongolian beef, their variety is wider than I expected! We both opted for Spicy Beef Noodle soup with beef brisket. I really was surprised to see my dish served in a disposable bowl. Aside from this, the soups looked fantastic and the aromas of the broth had me excited to dig in. Incredible flavor!! It reminded me much of their sister restaurant, and was nothing short of great flavor and portion. The soup was piping hot, with a generous portion of what I believe are hand drawn noodles. Ever since Nan Zhou in Mesa closed their doors, I have been searching for a hand drawn noodle place that could help satisfy my noodle cravings. This place has another location in Tempe and is situated in the corner of the Planet Fitness plaza. The cozy and chic restaurant is well lit. The new appearance is inviting and tastefully decorated. There is not a lot of seating so I am sure the majority of the business will be takeoutThe employee at the counter was helpful as I was using the automated kiosk. They have a great variety of choices but I am going to try the house noodles special. The first impression after opening the bowl was a beautiful waft of garlic. The noodles contain white, purple, and green onion. The beef and chicken was tender and the shrimp was not overcooked. I consider it to be al dente. The noodles had a good wok fried with soy sauce flavor. It didn't have a lot of meat or other ingredients beyond the noodles. The dumpling had a good strong garlic flavor. The dumpling wrapper had a good texture as well. They were also neither mushy nor hard. I think they were al dente too. Did not get mushy even though it was take out. The inside of the dumpling had a meat and vegetable mixture that may have had some clear noodles in it too. Service - Quick and efficient. The food is pretty darn good. We got the orange chicken with hand pulled noodles, some hot chili dumplings, and the dan dan noodles. All three were great. The orange chicken is on the sweet and sour side, reminiscent of Peking pork chop style sauce. While Joyce likes the more savory varient, I like the sweet style. Dan Dan noodles are always something we order if they're on the menu, and Kungfu Noodles makes a tasty version. The hot chili dumplings were nothing stellar, and I don't think we will be ordering it again. We like it here. Date night! I had heard this place makes and pulls their own noods so I was immediately in! They did NOT disappoint, but I'll get to that in a minute. I was surprised to see their ordering screen but tbh kind of cool. I did as the girl at the counter a couple of questions and it does appear you can order at the counter too but we just did it at the kiosk. We ordered the Braised Beef Soup, Orange Chicken noodle bowl, Soup Dumplings and an Egg Roll. My soup was fantastic! Broth flavor was deep and delicious but lemme tell ya about these NOODLES! Y'all. The food here was so tasty!! It's fast casual so I ordered on the touch screen and sat down and the staff brought it out to me. The quality was super yummy, everything I got was super delicious from the dumplings to the stir fry noodles. The noodles were my favorite for sure. You get a choice between beef brisket or shank and we got brisket for this one. Learned that we prefer beef shank. Pickled beef noodles: got beef shank for this one, meat was good. Wished the soup was stronger in pickle flavor. House fried rice: Not bad not amazing. As expected. Husband is more of a rice than noodle person so he chose this. Chili oil dumplings: also not bad but not amazing! Nothing special. Overall portions are good and we would return for take out if we are craving beef noodles since we don't live too far away. Make sure to sign up for their loyalty rewards so that you get 20% off on your first order and 10% off on all overs. They provided complimentary bottled water. My favorite was the braised beef noodle soup with rice noodle. The soup was flavorful and they gave a lot of noodles and meat. For the price they charge, it is a great deal! Xiao Long Bao was good because it was very meaty, but the skin could have been thinner. There were 8 pieces. Hot Chili Dumplings there were 6 pieces. The sauce was very flavorful and the dumplings were good. Kungpao shrimp was delicious, but the hand pulled noodles I thought was just okay. This dish had a lot of sauce. Hand pulled noods and homemade dumplings... The restaurant was nice and clean when my friends and I arrived. We were greeted when we walked in around 11 on a Thursday. It just opened so there was nobody else there yet. I would say around noon the lunch rush came in and the place was packed. You can place your order at the kiosk or with one of the staff you front. Then you take a seat and wait for your food to be ready. They had complimentary bottled water in the fridge up front so that was nice. The eats - Xiao long bao - yum. The soup is hooot which feels legit. Lols So make sure you blow first! Braised beef soup - this was ok. The broth was really light and I wish there was more flavor. So I added the extra chili oil and sauce on our tables and it was better. Chili oil dumplings - yum Spicy chicken with potatoes and noodles - good flavor, spice was manageable. I feel like the potatoes were unnecessary but if you love it great. The hand pulled noods were yum, had a nice chew to them and loooong. My friends and I laughed trying to eat it so maybe bring scissors or ask for some. Only thing I didn't care for was the chicken. They were tiny and full of bones. We ordered takeout from here one night when I was really craving Chinese food. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't particularly good either. I got orange chicken with noodles. The chicken was good but if you had told me the noodles were frozen microwaved noodles I probably wouldn't have been surprised. We also got some vegetable egg rolls and those were good. We got an order of takoyaki and I've had better. The sauce on top was just ok and the dough wasn't very crispy. I will say the order came right on time and everything was correct. We came there on the way tona friend's house. We were greeted right away. They explained we can order on the kiosk or we can order in person. We for the Handmade dumplings and hand pulled noodles! Xiao Long Boa (8), Chicken Popcorn, BBQ Pork Buns (2), Signature Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, and Passion fruit Green Iced Tea. The serving staff was very nice and explained everything to us. I saw a post for this on ArizonaAsians.com on FB and had to try it. For a fast casual it did not disappoint. Bright interior where you could order at a touchscreen kiosk and your food is brought out to you. The noodle dishes had a lot of flavor. The potstickers were crispy and delicious.
