Tried Cafe Zupas for the first time and really enjoyed it! I got the Chipotle Glazed Salad and the Chris soup, and both were really good. My favorite was definitely the soup. The bread that comes with it goes so well with the soup! I also really like that they give you a little chocolate-covered strawberry for dessert. Such a cute little touch and a nice way to end the meal. There were quite a few people there when I went, but the service was still great. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. From the reviews, pictures, I thought this place was going to be great. It's mediocre at best. For the quality of food and quantity you get is not worth the price. I had a sandwich, which consisted of 2 slices of turkey, bacon I couldn't find, and cheese. It was supposed to be a club sandwich, guess you have to ask for lettuce, tomatoes, onion.. I asked for pickles, was charged for it! Wife had the goddess salad, which was thrown together. Looked horrible. We both wanted soup, cups.. not bowls.. I was told they ran out of cups.. so they give you a bowl with one scoop of soup. I had such a great experience at Café Zupas! The staff were so kind, friendly, and incredibly efficient -- my food came out super fast and fresh. I ordered the Nuts and Berries Salad and the Tomato Basil Soup, and both were absolutely delicious. I was especially happy to find that there were many gluten-free options! I also loved their seasonal fall drinks-- the Pumpkin Spice Refresher was amazing! For under $20, I got a soup, salad, a drink, chips, and even chocolate-covered strawberries. Cafe Zupas is one of our favorite places when we decided to eat healthy meals. ( which is a very often) We really like Cafe Zupas and their healthy food. We really love their menu, perfect selections of various freshly mixed salads, bowls,fresh soups, and made to order delicious sandwiches. Fresh and delicious food served by very friendly people. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. The store is very open, nice and clean, very inviting. They use fresh ingredients and it makes all the difference, plus it's pretty inexpensive for the quality that you get. Also the chocolate covered strawberry that it comes with ,is wonderful. They have a new dessert Viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and it is so delicious ( a MUST TRY) ! Overall: The food is always amazing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I've never been served anything this salty, other than a salt packet. It is completely inedible. And the "French Baguette Roll"? One came with, and I ordered an extra. Mistake. They're just cheap, very gummy, dinner rolls. Absolutely terrible. I gave 2 stars instead of one, because the soup is loaded with chicken that's not dried out. Too bad I can't eat it. He asked us twice if we had money to give him. Staff noticed him but never said a word to him. Food was good, but the portions are too skimped. I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl and had to ask the girl to add more of things multiple times because they put so few toppings. The cheesecake tasted stale and like refrigerator. So to begin with.....we have ordered delivery three times from this location and never recieved our orders. Was never compensated for it, and our call was never returned. The sandwitch was wet on the bottom, what looked like the last bit of tomato they could scrape up and threw it in a sloppy gloppy sandwich with get this .....little to 0 cheese. Just pesto sauce and bread. That's what I paid $14 and some change on .... What happened to this place ?!? Who the hell is managing this place ?? It used to be so good and everything looked and tasted great.. used to be one of my fave places but MY GOD whoever is managing this place needs to seriously wake up.you are going to make people sick!!! Very disappointing experience at the Stephanie location. I ordered a large salad and was given extremely minimal topping portions mostly lettuce with barely anything else. The topping spoons are tiny, and the manager, Brandon, explained that I would have to pay $0.79 extra per topping just to get a reasonable amount. It honestly felt like management was intentionally giving less while charging more. In this economy, customers should not feel taken advantage of like this. The portions were completely unbalanced and not reflective of the price. I went to another Café Zupas location immediately afterward and received fair portions without being overcharged, which shows this is a MANAGEMENT ISSUE specific to this location. Based on this experience and Brandon's handling of the situation, I will not be returning to the Stephanie location. This is why the Eastern location will always be elite!! read more

Very slow service, actually writing this review while in line waiting to pay for my bowl of lettuce. Should have just bought a bad of salad from the matket. Went to this location yesterday and we had not been in awhile! We decided to dine in as we used to pick up food here 5 days out of 6. The customer service started with India (always professional and pleasant) Brandon made our amazing salads.... EXTREMELY GOOD Caesar avocado salad and chicken chipotle salad. I wanted to share my thoughts about a man who served my friend and I today and then helped my daughter and I as we were exiting. First we were greeted with a genuine smile and patience as we figured out what we wanted. This person took our order and swiftly prepared our salads. Then as we were leaving, my daughter accidentally dropped some garbage and this same person saw the both of our hands filled so he politely picked it up for us. I love Zupas but this location is the worst. I've consistently placed pick up orders and the order isn't ready for 20 minutes AFTER they said it's ready for pick up. Today my order was supposed to be ready at 1:12. So why at 1:20 is no one making my order and it's not available (yes I already received a text it's ready) while the line continues to come and go. Aaron was particularly awful. Zupas stop lying about when an order is ready to make your times look good while customers are waiting and not receiving any service.
