Within minutes of sharing my experience from Monday, Feb. 26th, I received a phone call from the GVR location manager, Robert. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner and for all of the other issues I encountered. He further explained that the lady I spoke to that day was not his Asst. Mgr., but rather a shift lead, which explains why she didn't understand how to do the refund. He completed my refund at that time (thank you!) and offered to make us a free medium sub (thank you again!) with the newly replenished Impossible Meat. Came here to grab a sandwich and was immediately greeted with attitude from the female employee. She indicated that there would be a 20 min wait as she was preparing a catering order which is fine. One order was a cheesesteak but however she didn't add the lettuce or tomato that was asked for and the second one was a turkey sandwich was a turkey with bacon. I opted for the $19.99 large Italian with taken with a grain of salt is reasonably priced for location, location, location. When I first got there the 2 employees were assembling other orders and I stood there for about a minute+ before they said, "be with you in a minute." Might be the reviews on the lack of customer service...but I wasn't irked. The order was quick, the toppings were decent, the bread was chewy and soft, and you can't beat the convenience. I made the mistake of ordering from this location instead of the one on Stephanie, my fault, and the sweet guy that worked there reached out to me when we didn't pick up our order. We have Capriottis several times a month, but I am feeling poorly and got confused with my order. By the time I realized, the sandwich's were made and they refused to refund my order. I realize it was my fault, but could you at least offer me a partial discount? Aaron said no though. Encountered the rudest female employee at this location today. I waited at the front with no employees in site as my kids ordered and got their food from another spot and waited for me. I continued to wait for service another three minutes as she chatted with someone working in the back kitchen. I asked her if she was open because there was no one around for the past seven minutes. She said yeah the sign says open. Then she proceeded to tell me that she saw me on the cameras so she knew I was waiting. Then she said she was busy doing other things and then rudely asked what I wanted to order. I told her never mind, I no longer want to order here and left. Somebody lied lol. I saw someone comment on another site that the Impossible Cheesesteak from Capriotti's was the bomb. It was not ! The bread was cold, not sure how that happens when you ordering a hot sandwich. I ordered with mushrooms, peppers and onion. There was barely any meat . I ordered the 5 inch sandwich which was smart in hindsight because I would have been pissed had I ordered a larger sandwich. The 5 inch was $7,99 plus tax. It is the worst sandwich ever!!!!! We ordered two medium Philly steak cheese sandwich: one with extra meat, mushroom, sweet peppers and mayo. The other one mushroom, sweet pepper, bell pepper, and mayo. There was no sweet peppers, mushrooms, and mayo. However, there was HOT peppers which we didn't order!!!! I took one bite and I was done. It was too hot for me. The other was HOT too! Both sandwich went into the trash! Extremely upsetting especially when the the order was repeated back to you and it is not even close to what you order. Not impressed. Two days ago had the homemade turkey sub, and the turkey was very dry, looked like frozen turkey that had been thawed out. Went back today and returned what was left of the sandwich with the receipt, and the worker gave me a American Wagyu Cheese Steak at half price, as compensation, after she explained that all of their turkey was the same so exchanging the turkey sub for another one would result in the same issue. Employees were extremely rude. As my friend and I walked over from the casino to the counter, exactly 5-6 minutes before closing, we noticed the employees make their way to the back. Probably to start up the closing process we figured, which was very reasonable given the time. So we waited for them, but neither employee came out of the back until EXACTLY 11PM. One of them then quickly told us "We're closed" and then turned her back to go tend to other tasks... Not cool. This location inside of GREEN VALLEY RANCH RESORT use to be good, around 5 years ago. Not sure what happened. As a resort employee me and my team would go 3 times a week and the service and food was always outstanding. Today I decided to try and get some lunch(10am) and the employees stood there as I waited to order, zero acknowledgement.. they began whispering before the female employee says the system is down. We came back 20 minutes later and I ordered a SIMPLE sandwich: ham and cheese, with turkey, only mayo,salt and pepper. A toddler could understand this order. I get to the team dining room and it has lettuce, tomato and the turkey was far less than I have ever seen on this sandwich, as it is my go to sandwich. My co worker ordered a Philly cheesesteak. They did not ask him if he wanted peppers or mushrooms. Both sandwiches are highly disappointing and for 30 dollars, we expected much much more. Capriottis just lost our business, and I'll be letting all of my friends at the resort know to avoid at all cost. Not off to a good start when the male cashier neglected to greet me or really acknowledge my presence. No one else was in line. I get that working in a food court may not be the most stimulating of professions, but Cap's has a good reputation, and if you're gonna work in a food court, GVR is not the worst. Maybe all the gray hairs made him cranky. I don't need a hearty, hello, welcome to Cap's, but something more than silence isn't too much to ask. I had a $5 off coupon (written on the manager's business card cause they were out of the $5 coupons when I bought a gift card) near Christmas. 7/1/20 ~1:40pm One customer in the shop and three employees behind the counter: one black woman, one black man and one white man. I'm including this because I didn't see any name tags and I want to call out the right person. I said hello as I entered. No one said anything and I stood patiently for a minute before the white guy asks, 'are you picking up an order or placing one?' in an annoyed tone of voice. I tell him I'm ordering now. He looks back down and keeps working for a minute and then asks me, 'what are you getting?' I told him my two sub orders and he asked zero follow-up questions (e.g. mayo or mustard? like they usually ask.) I waited a little while and then asked if I could get sweet peppers on the Italian sub. He still seems very annoyed and asks, 'bell peppers?' I told him, yeah the little pickled ones? And he says, 'yeah, bell peppers. They're the same thing.' At this point I'm just perplexed by this guy's bad attitude and displeased that I'm probably getting raw bell peppers added to my sub so I ask him to just show me what he means (the counters are very tall there, it's not like other sub shops where there's only a glass case between you and the toppings.) He asks, 'do you mean this minced pepper thing?' and holds up a bit of some minced thing that looked good but wasn't what I meant. Now, the other employee notices from the register and asks, 'what do you need?' and the white guy yells, 'she's asking for sweet peppers, they're the same thing as bell peppers,' to which the other guy says, 'yeah they're the same thing.' By this point I was just so annoyed by how badly this was going and told the guy, 'dude, I just want the little pickled peppers- I usually say sweet peppers and they know what I'm talking about.' Another customer pipes in from behind me, 'she means peppercinis,' and the guy making my sandwich tells him they don't have those. I just stopped talking and the guy making my sandwich tells me I can go ahead and pay with the other employee. I pay. I wait. Three other customers enter, place orders which get made by the other employees, pay and leave before my sandwiches are done. Then! White guy calls me over to the register and starts ringing me up, I tell him I've already paid and he says, 'really?' and looks over at the other employee as if he's about to shout over to him and ask, but I hold up my receipt and tell the guy I paid, I just want to leave. He hands over my sandwiches and I got out of there but I wasn't even comfortable eating the sandwich with how suspiciously long it took the guy to make it and the fact that all three employees had their masks pulled down to their chins/not covering their noses or mouths. This wouldn't be a big deal to me if the guy hadn't been so rude and unprofessional, but I had that sinking feeling that he could have tampered with the food. This could be a one-off, I'm not here to say, 'no one should go to Capriotti's!' I'm just here to say, I will not go to Capriotti's anymore. If someone from this particular store is reading: please train the white guy more, he sucked to deal with as a customer and I bet he sucks to work alongside. read more

I am a big fan of Capriotti's! Last night we ordered from the store in Green Valley Ranch Casino since our regular store (Stefanie) was already closed. 5 sandwiches. Paid over $70.00. One sandwich order was wrong and the rest were disgusting. Over cooked and barely any sauce. Tasted like they had been sitting out for a day. No one finished their sandwich. Really big subs with plenty of filling. The Bobby is their most famous sub because it is super indulgent. Basically, it is Thanksgiving dinner between two pieces of bread. Lots of moist turkey, stuffing, mayo and cranberry sauce. Don't bother looking up the calories or nutritional facts because it's so good you could care less anyways. Service is fast and because they get crowded and busy during lunch hour, I suggest calling your order in ahead of time for easy pick up. They also carry a particular brand of potato chips called Owl Brand and it is pretty good. It's a thick cut Kettle style chips and the honey BBQ flavor is popular. Overall, good place for hearty subs, but only once in a while if you are watching calories. Service is usually fast and friendly too. read more
