I was given the clasp back because they said it was valuable. They then asked if they could keep it to get the proper replacement. They called me with a price of $70. I picked it up and paid, but when i returned home the original gold clasp was not there. I called and they said they kept the orininal piece as a part of the payment. Is this a common practice? It was a good size piece of gold and the replacement was $70 for the exact same thing. Not Happy about this outcome. Don't know what to do next.

While this space houses a mixture of individual vendor stalls with rare, one-of-a-kind gems, it's the Amish vintage+distressed styled furniture part of it that grabbed our attention even more. We instantly purchased our hutch on our first visit, they marked it SOLD here and on Marketplace then we agreed to pick up the piece a week later after returning from vacation. During our 2nd visit here, we met Barb and her husband Bill who are truly pleasant folks- plus, Bill and someone else helped my husband load up the hutch into our U-Haul. Thank you! I mainly shopped at the store in Stroudsburg out of the 4 locations that I knew of. Stroudsburg, Stroud Mall, Tannersville, and last Brodheadsville. I was trying to sell a ring that I purchased from the Stroudsburg location. I was eventually told to try the Brodheadsville location. I took the ring there. I didn't check with them for a while, waiting for a call. However, one day I drove up to the store and store was empty. I tried to call and the phone rang of the hook. I went back Tannersville, Stroudsburg as well, they all closed down. I was shock! No forwarding address or phone number. I was surprisingly disappointed. I use to take pictures in Sammy's upstairs gallery, with all the vintage ships, art work, Greek sculptures, etc... I'm sure Sammy wasn't aware of the transaction that accrued.
