    Yemen signature drink

Highly recommend the Yemen signature drink (has coconut flakes and roasted marshmallow at the side) and their everything bagel . Their service is great and the coffees came out fast . The ambiance is calm and informal .

Great service, setting and food & beverages. We had lox & bagel, avocado toast, honey lavender latte and a hot cocoa. We sat at the bar as it was a bit packed inside with most tables taken and a line at times (a Saturday late morning visit). Healthy and delicious options!

Yumen Latte and salmon lox bagel

Even though the shop is way smaller than what it looks on the photo, it still has nice and sweet vibes inside. It's super clean, nice, quiet and honey inside. Loved the photos from Burning Man too. I tried a BBQ panini, Yumen latte and my friend tried salmon bagel. Overall we were pretty happy with the food- both the taste and presentation. My panini was delicious- broccoli, cheese and mayo like sauce instead was yummy! I also very enjoyed the drink- it had a coconuty taste with light notes of condensed milk- super cool! My friend liked the bagel too, even though it was rather plain. It was Sunday and it was packed- lots of people there for coffee, and a lot of people studying. Easy to find parking though

Stumbled across this place as I walked down State Street. I popped in and was immediately impressed with the atmosphere- gorgeous water fountain with wooden tables nicely spread out. Open, airy vibe with greenery sprayed around the walls and ceiling, with lights and beautiful pink flowers too. Service is friendly and quick. They offer specialty coffee and drinks to get your day going. They also have a small but mighty menu of food options (bagels, avocado toast, and yogurt granola bowl). I had their Greek Yogurt bowl (10/10) - it was seriously the best! The granola was fresh and crunchy, and the fruit was sweet, with great color and sweet natural flavor! Every bite was incredible. (The dabs of honey really added a nice zip). I also had their caramel latte, iced. Come relax outside under a canopy of green and pink and just sip and savor the self-care time.

    Jupiter's Forest

I enjoyed this cozy quaint coffee shop. I was visiting Santa Barbara on a day trip after riding the train. I stopped by Starbucks to use the restroom where they had zero seating and were not friendly at all. This prompted me search for a better experience. I walked 10-15 up and discovered this gem. The inside was beautifully decorated & the barista's spoke & smiled upon my entry. I love that the cafe was busy yet chill & quiet enough for studying, working or reading. It has the soul that many Starbucks locations have lost or pushed away. I was really surprised how tasty my Jupiter's Forest ( Latte) sometimes aesthetically pleasing doesn't always equal delicious. But, it was both. My only small gripe is the gray cushions along the wall need a good cleaning or replacement.

Love this Caje! Looks like a Bartop/plant store inside, small seating area but comfortable to sit for a while. I just love the beauty and the ambiance of this particular location. Every coffee that we ordered was amazing, great taste, not too sweet and the presentation was amazing. One of the best coffees I've tasted in a long time.

    Burnout
    Rakshit P.

Came here looking at the good reviews. Barista suggested getting the burnout. The coffee was really good. It was more like a cocktail (which justified the price). Parking can be a bit difficult. We were lucky to find a spot right out front.

    Brenda B.

Is it coffee or a cocktail?! Caje has very creative and well crafted coffee drinks that looks like something you might be served at a bar , but instead it's the one of best coffee drink sans alcohol :). We oreded the " burnout " specialty drink and it was so delicious! So easy to drink . I will say it was definitely higher cost for a coffee drink but it's an experience so enjoy . We also got a toasted bagel with cream cheese, it was good but quite ordinary. Super dog friendly people here , nice service and cool little neighborhood in SB .

    Livier M.

I wish we had a caje in the bay! The space is warm and inviting and intimate. Even with the simple opinions with bagels I was taken aback by how good everything was. The coffee options they recommended were great. Wish we would've had more time to have a second visit before we left town.

Had a little quick breakfast and liked the green and vibes in the place. The food was good.

    Rose matcha
    Kristen T.

The caramel latte was super good but the rose matcha was such a waste ($10.25) it just tastes like milk. There is no matcha or rose taste. Would definitely only recommend the coffee here, smooth and no aftertaste

    Bella Rose Iced Matcha latte
    Maria W.

Cajé is a fantastic airy light plant-filled spot to sit down with a lovely (pricey but delicious) Bella Rose Iced Matcha latte, connect to their wifi, and crank out some work. There are a couple group seating areas in the back, and in the front, rows and rows of seating for two with outlets between each table. They play great music, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Perfect.

    Jessica Y.

As someone who focuses on trying new places when re visiting towns out of the area, it means something when I come back a second time. Stopped by Cajé again while passing through Santa Barbra and everything was as great as the first time. Their coffee is so aesthetically pleasing with the taste to match. Can't wait to see what they add to the menu next. Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambience: 8/10

I did not visit during it's peak hours, though there still was a line out the door when I went mid-afternoon. The wait in line didn't seem too long and I was entertained / distracted by the merchandise that was out on display on the way to the register. I ended up pulling two coffee bags -- one for me (Brazil) and one as a gift for my sister (Gibraltar). I would love to be able to try the entire assortment of coffee beans. Love the packaging. The ambiance is open and spacious inside. Lots of space for seating indoors and there are places outside as well. I noticed a lot of students would come here to study or others who would go there to meet with friends or just a place to hang out. I would come back for sure next time I am back in the area and would like to try a food item next time and a matcha drink next time.

On June 5th between approximately 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM, at State st location, I ordered a Strawberry Milk Matcha at the State Street location. The drink I received looked significantly different from the advertised product and appeared improperly prepared. When I politely asked about it, the employee immediately became defensive and repeatedly insisted that the drink was correct instead of taking a moment to understand the concern. Fortunately, another employee stepped in and offered to remake the drink, which I appreciated. What disappointed me most was the customer service. When I asked the employee for his name so I could provide feedback, he told me that I did not need to know his name and that it was irrelevant for me to know. I found that response surprisingly unprofessional. Mistakes happen. Drinks can be remade. What matters is how customers are treated when they raise concerns respectfully. I spoke with a manager afterward, who apologized for my experience, but I left feeling that the issue was minimized rather than truly addressed. I choose local businesses over large chains whenever possible. That's exactly why this experience was disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because Dune has built a strong reputation in our community and I would like to see that standard upheld.
