I chose to have dinner in the bar area to enjoy the live entertainment. I had a comfortable table near the piano. For dinner I had Tchoupitoulas for the first time. Tchoupitoulas consists of Catfish, Crawfish Etouffee, Grits and gravy. Everything was perfectly cooked. Smooth Grits and crispy skin Catfish. Overall an excellent meal. Service was friendly and I was checked on several times. Food delivery was timely even with the bar area at near capacity.

    Banana Bananas Foster

I've been determined to find banana foster for my sister since our recent trip to New Orleans. I stopped my Lola's last Friday for Banana Foster and terrible is an understatement. I'm uncertain if the cook just wasn't aware how to prepare it or just didn't care but it literally came out runny like brown water and mushy banana. The ice cream was swimming in the bowl and the soupy like consistency was over powered with cinnamon. It wasn't edible to be honest and after a few bites of the ice cream only left the bananas and the brown soupy mess on the table. The crab cake was decent. Two small cakes for $11 bucks. The flavor was there and they were seasoned well.

Mardi Gras magic with flavor and soul! I came here for a Fat Tuesday celebration and had such a great time. The place was decked out in festive Mardi Gras decor, and the turnout was huge! The energy was lively and fun all night. Even though it was packed and chairs were limited, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us by creating a space with a small table and chairs, which I really appreciated. There was live music and at one point the staff even did a New Orleans-style line dance through the crowd, which made the whole experience feel like an authentic NOLA experience. I ordered the jambalaya and also got to try the crawfish balls, both were bomb. I do wish there had been a little more sausage in my jambalaya, but it was still flavorful and satisfying. The Prices in my opinion were very reasonable for the portions and the experience. Overall, It was such a fun atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Perfect spot if you want good vibes, good music, and a taste of Louisiana celebration.

I've been going to Lola's for many years. I had to stop in and check things out now that Lola has retired. I can say the place is in excellent hands with Tami and Carlos. Nothing has changed. The food is incredible. My favorite thing on the menu is the catfish and grits. It is heavenly! Make sure you get a basket of the grilled Leidenheimer's garlic bread. If you've never had it, it is a New Orleans staple. Save room for the bread pudding ... get the traditional or the Bananas Foster version. You can't go wrong with either. If you've never need a great meal with the flair of New Orleans, check out Lola's. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Say hello to Tami and Carlos too!

What a friendly, happy place. Live entertainment was awesome. Food was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits. Very tasty. My daughter loved her salmon. Crab cakes and potato salad were delicious. Definitely going back.

Nola BBQ shrimp and rice, tasty.

Cajun / Creole craving tonight and Lola's Louisiana Kitchen has been on the radar for years. Tonight, we finally give them a try. Being Valentine's Day weekend, it is always crazy. The restaurant is decked out in the "Big Easy" motif. The place is packed and the singer is belting out relaxing tunes. The grilled oysters with house dressing and pecorino cheese were served piping hot. They were good and savory. The BBQ shrimp were swimming in a Worstchester sauce, smokey and rich. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, had a nice pop and an abundance of extra sauce to be soaked up with a grilled pillowy garlic toast. The cajun flavored fries were salty and ok. The golden grilled shrimp with fries were ok. The staff here is working their butts off and the joint is hopping tonight. Triple DDD has been here before and the shrimp dishes we tried were good, not great. They obviously have a loyal following as the hostess was hugging all the locals like family. If you are looking for good cajun food, an upscale vibe, Lola's Louisiana Kitchen deserves a good look.

It is Christmas time and Lola's has decked the halls!!! It is so beautifully decorated for Christmas! Came here for dinner on a Sunday night...normally do happy hour, but they only do that on weekdays. We both ordered a draft beer that is still a really good price point at 6 dollars. Hub ordered the red beans and rice because it may be the best recipe of this we have ever tasted. Yes we have been to New Orleans...this is the best we have ever had bar none. I was feeling a lighter dish, so I got the blackened chicken salad with ranch on the side. The greens were so fresh and chicken was spiced just right. I took a bit of hubs and it was everything I remembered it to be...Smokey and rich taste. The bartender also brought us some grilled bread...it was marvelous! This is a great restaurant...it was a little slow tonight...I hope and never plans to close...it is just so good and a fun place to grab some great food!

Lola's is one of my go to spots when I'm in Vegas the food here is good and the Gouda grits with shrimp & catfish is my favorite it's very delicious so if you like Cajun creole food this is the place..

This hidden gem (literally hidden from street view) was such a delight! I'll be the first to admit, I know nothing about Creole cooking. I was not really sure what to expect. The restaurant itself was decorated in true mardi gras style but not over the top. There was a large bar are and 2 dinning areas. Atmosphere was very chill and the decor carried the New Orleans theme throughout. Our server was so polite and patient with all our requests. She was excellent at her job. There was another server who assisted her who was also great and very friendly. Let's talk about the food. My challenge when eating out is to find healthier lighter options. I don't typically like ordering a grilled chicken salad bc often the chicken is a dry flavorless sad excuse for protein. Once I nix the usual garbage on a salad like croutons, candied pecans, bacon bits, blue cheese crumbles etc, I'm left w a few grape tomatoes and a meager few lettuce leaves to w my disappointing chicken for $20+. This was NOT the case @ Lola's. By far...and I mean this, the most flavorful not dry grilled chicken breast I've probably ever had! It was a good sized salad w celery, tomato, some hard boiled egg and a little shredded cheese. I got it without dressing and had a side of balsamic vinegar and the meal was delicious!! My friends got a variety of dishes and everything came out perfectly cooked, no mistakes were made and everyone enjoyed their food. Most of the girls took some home bc the portions were so generous. Our experience from start to finish was very pleasant. I'm not a fan of fried catfish, jambalaya, or gumbo but there was a signature bread pudding on the menu that I would definitely come back for if I was going to splurge. I would definitely come here again just for that chicken!

I was craving some Jambalaya and I found this place, decided to check it out. The place wasn't crowded, there were about 3 other parties besides us on a Saturday around1:30pm. The other tables were wrapping up, I saw to go boxes and desserts were ordered and even though it was on a slow day, the food took some time to come out. The decor is beautiful, a little bit of Christmas spirits and NY's as well as Madri Gras/the South vibes, so it was cool and fun. The waitstaff was friendly, but not as attentive seeing how it wasn't busy but today was a chilled day, so we just chit chatted while we waited for our food. What we ordered: 1. Cajun hot wings - crispy, dark not golden (maybe this is the cajun part?) and it was salty. I think the hot sauce was the culprit. I did like how crunchy the breading was but not the salt 2. The Jambalaya: this dish was salty too and we barely touched it. The waitress came back much later, after she first served us our food, otherwise I would have told her sooner to see what they would do to fix it. I did tell her later when she brought us a to go container and asked what can we do to remedy the issue. She apologized and suggested we can add more white rice to it at home to make it less salty which I suspected it as much. Just disappointed cuz that was the one dish I was there for. 3. Etoufee: after the other 2 tasting salty, this dish was ironically not salty. The roux was just gravy like, did not have enough spices or cajun flavors or taste that I was hoping for. The 3 stars because 2 out of 3 dishes were too salty for me, I couldn't taste or enjoy the food, tbh. The staff was friendly but wasn't attentive...seem to be busy in the back/kitchen cuz she was gone for some time. Lastly the food took some time to come out. Overall, it was an ok food experience, I have had better and this place didn't have a "wow" factor for me, unfortunately.

2 days in a row! Lola's was absolutely amazing! Tried a different dish this time and it was heaven!

I've been to Lola's a few years back but never left a review. Was excited to go here again for a lunch date with a friend. We made a reservation on a Sunday for 1:15pm but it wasn't packed at all! Their brunch menu was still available but we decided to get something off the lunch/dinner menu. Our server was amazing! I tried the Crab Cake Dinner which was 2 thick crab cakes on a bed of lettuce with a lemon garlic aioli. Those crab cakes were perfection! I was craving crab cakes for quite a while now and they definitely hit the spot! The meal was so fulfilling and our server brought out the bread for the table and it paired great with the salad! Next time I will try a Po' boy! I don't remember what I ordered when I first visited but I feel like it was a po boy and I enjoyed it! They also have the most beautiful flowers outside the restaurant.
