Not bad for my first time here. The market price on the seafood is kinda pricey but if you get the combos I think it's worth it. Definitely come in to share because it's just enough. It was near closing so we were seated right and away with a few minutes to decide what we wanted to eat. End up getting the Crackin Combo it came with a snow crab cluster, crawfish, sausage, corn and potatoes. I added an order of rice and Cajun fries. I liked the fact they had quality gloves that fit so your hands don't get dirty and scissors/crab cracker. The ambiance almost reminded me of the Bay Area seafood spots. I would definitely come in again when I get the cravings:)

Good food had the Combo #2, Fried Chicken wings, Fried Catfish... My man and I were going to have two different boils until we got there it by the poundage so we got one to share.. he had the fried catfish and for fresh water fish it wasn't bad either like other places that it's gamey tasting.. wings are really good too and we'll go back again another time because if they use the same batter for the wings and fish it's kinda reminiscent of old KFC recipe before they changed it... We were stuffed at the end of it all. Food service was good as well they kept checking in on us regularly and 90mins to eat your food wasn't bad either... I loved the ambience of the room the walls and seats and tagging of important people so sorta kinda hipster, decency decor of under the sea vibes too.

If you come to Cajun Crack'n, be prepared to get messy. Like, fingers-slick-with-garlic-butter, sauce-on-your-face messy. They do provide gloves if you want them--but honestly, leaning into the chaos is part of the fun. We ordered the middle-size boil with snow crab legs, a pound of crawfish, corn, and potatoes, tossed in mild spice with garlic butter, and it was so good. They bring it in a large plastic bag drenched in sauce and you dig it out and put the shells in a mini-trash can they provide you. The crawfish can be a little tricky at first, but they give you these tiny scissors, and once you get the hang of it, it's actually pretty easy (and weirdly satisfying). This is not a first-date restaurant unless you're trying to test boundaries immediately. Sauce gets everywhere. Everywhere. I went with my family, and it was perfect for that--fun, loud, and zero pressure to be polite. We brought our kids too. There's no official kids' menu, but they do have six-piece BBQ wings and edamame, which you can order Cajun-style or sea salt. I went with sea salt since my son doesn't like spice, and it was a win. The service was great, the ambiance was fun, and bonus points: the margaritas are BIG--like actual drinking-glass sized--and totally worth the price. The beer prices were surprisingly reasonable, too. Overall: delicious food, great service, fun atmosphere, and a full-on hands-on experience. Come hungry, wear something you don't mind getting messy, and enjoy it. Highly recommend.

Came to Cajun Crack'n on a Friday evening craving a seafood boil and was pleasantly surprised. We got seated right away, the restaurant was clean, and our waitress was quick to bring menus and waters. We went with Combo #1--3 pounds of deveined shrimp with potatoes, sausage, and corn in the spicy "everything combined" flavor. The shrimp were already peeled and perfectly cooked, which made the meal so much easier and more enjoyable. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The sides were a mixed bag--fries weren't my favorite, but the onion rings were excellent. Potatoes and corn soaked up all the flavor perfectly. I'd definitely come back for the seafood boil again.

The food was great. Spicy was on point and flavorful. A little pricey but it's good seafood, what do you expect. Portions were able to feed two people. Staff was friendly and fast. Appreciated that they were open late. Will eat here again.

1 lb shrimp head on, 1 lb frozen crawfish and one corn. A mixture of sauces and spiciest heat level.

I haven't been here in years! We only came here cus we was still in the area.. decided on a catfish po boy that came with fries.. went with lemon pepper seasoning. The sandwich was hot and crispy. Fries was same. Pretty good combo. Then also had hush puppies on the side which had a good seasoning to it. Overall it was a good lunch. Would want to come back for the Cajun again cus I need to refresh my memory on the sauce... can't say much about service since it was to go but she did greet me.

This place is BOMB! The interior is spacious with lots of seating. Considering how messy digging into seafood boil can be, this place is super clean! Service here is quick and our waitress was super nice. Came here with a party of 8 on a Saturday. Highly recommend making a reservation, especially if you have a bigger party, cause there was a lot of people waiting for a table! Got 2 Combo #1s to share. Opted for their house special sauce and it is 100% the way to go. This was so so so yummy. This is by far my fave seafood boil place in Fresno.

Before this visit, we've ordered for pick up and delivery several times. We were pleasantly satisfied with our server, the decor, and of course our food. Everything is so tasty and fulfilling. Tip: Be sure to ask for extra napkins before your food arrives because it can be messier than you think.

    Is outdoor seating available again?

    Yes

How does this compare to FOB or the Crawfish Guy?

FOBs sauce is my fav. They always have crazy amount of flavor. Cajun Crackin is tasty just not as flavorful as FOB. What I can say is that my husband and I both agreed that Cajun Crackin had fresher tasting shrimp if that makes sense.

I'm not too close to Fresno but would recommend this to anyone who is in the area. I would make it a point to come back again if I were in the area for sure! I got mashed potatoes and macaroni on the side (they were delicious but definitely regretted not trying other sides). The rib tips were perfect, smokey and tender. The fried chicken was sooo crispy and juicy. I do prefer crispier waffles, but it still went well with the very crispy chicken. The portions are plentiful, I had enough for a second meal.

I opted for rice instead of fries to balance all the fried food. The rice was a great choice but I did not expect the serving to be so massive. It was three of each item along with the coleslaw. The container wouldn't even close and it was given in a massive paper bag just to accommodate the weight. Huge serving and very satisfying. My favorite was surprisingly the fish, then shrimp, then oysters. I did not even come close to finishing all the fried deliciousness. Overall, I'm sure many will like this place, but my problem is the batter is too thick & not at all seasoned. This is somewhere between American & Chinese, but doesn't truly lean into either. Lemon or some acidic slaw are essential to cut thru the fried. Ketchup & hot sauce would help. Tartar sauce wasn't great. Having some non-battered/fried options would be really great. Still, I might try them again. Hope they reach their target audience.
