They came out Saturday morning and were VERY reasonably priced (especially with not having a huge budget to fix my plumbing crisis and it now being the WEEKEND) they took my call early (around 8 am) -they were super friendly- got my information and said they would call back, with the week being full of people giving me the run around I expected to wait on them for an hour or more but was pleasantly surprised when I received a call not even 30 minutes later to tell me some one was IN ROUTE already!! They gave me the technicians information and a pretty clear estimate of what I should be expecting. Aside from the two people I talked to on the phone that were super friendly and very knowledgeable, the technicians were also INCREDIBLE!! The Technicians arrived before the estimated 30 minutes!! This is a rental property, so I didn't notice that it was removed for several months. It took me over a week and a half of constantly leaving messages for their office manager Todd to actually return my phone calls. Now they are denying removing the piping for my aerator when it was clearly there and working before they came and installed the new plumbing. Between the poor customer service and a technician that is clearly lying I will never use them again Yes you sent two employees out after. One gave me another estimate and the second one which I was there with him agreed that the new piping they installed was right where the piping for the Aerator was. I'm guessing someone came in the back yard and removed it and also unplugged the aerator that's been installed for the past 7 years.

They made an attempt to clear the line and found the line was still plugged with grease and lint. I said sure and two plumbers arrived approximately 15 minutes later. Upon first diagnosis, I was told this was out of their scope of work and I could be put in contact with someone else outside of American Plumbing. Then, I was asked for the $65 service fee. Please note that there is a 3% credit card fee that they do not tell you about when you schedule the service. They also accept cash and check. Luckily, I had a check. After the plumber went to his truck and spoke to his supervisor on the phone, I was informed that his supervisor instructed him to perform a drainage check. However, he did not have the correct tool so he left and returned. The drainage check cost $225 and turned up nothing. Again, I was informed that the scope of work is out of their wheelhouse (even though I explained the expected issue over the phone). The plumbers themselves (although seems as though one was just a shadowing apprentice) were nice and tried to find the issue. The company though, should be clearer about payment terms and using the information from the client and plumber onsite to determine if services can be rendered and not continue to perform work just for the money. Honestly, I would not use this company again, but am not discouraging others from giving them a try.

He installed a water filter, a faucet, and even went above and beyond to ensure my dishwasher line was working correctly when we mentioned it was giving us trouble. As a Baton Rouge area local, he seems to really value high quality work and checked multiple times to make sure nothing leaked, including sticking around for the dishwasher to drain to make sure that was good too!
