Freud was absolutely delicious and the prettiest

What a great spot! Ann is an absolute amazing bartender and mixologist. She checked on us, offered advice on drinks, and made the most delicious drinks! There are a few tables and chairs outside, and very few inside along with a bar of course. They were talking about a recent comedy show they had in the back, but I didn't head to the back area. We sat outside under the tent and enjoyed the rare NOLA breeze. There was great music coming out of the speakers, too, which really added to the experience. Downside is that the parking situation isn't the best, so I can't imagine what it's like for events. Be careful on this road with all the NOLA-esque potholes and brick work. At least it's off the beaten path so that the parking, while off-road, isn't super cramped and miles away like other areas. Will definitely have to go back to try more drinks, and maybe see a show.

I always make a reservation so we never have any issues getting a table. Yesterday we arrived early so we sat at the bar waiting for our friends. I ordered the specialty frozen drink which was the Painkiller and it was delicious and had a kick! I'd definitely go back for that. My go to appetizers are the Lump Crab & Avocado Dip and the Brussel Sprouts. I am not a fan of Brussels sprouts but these are flash fried and seasoned perfectly. The wonton chips that come with the dip are the best I've ever had. This was my first time trying the Chicken and Biscuits and it did not disappoint although I couldn't eat much of it after the appetizers and my many vodka and cranberry juice care if the Bottomless bar. I was told they leave a carafe in the table now; however it's only if there are 8 people at the table??? Well I will still say it's a big waste of glasses to not leave a small carafe (one like wine comes in) for everyone who orders the Bottomless. We've always had friendly servers and a great time anytime we come here.

The space is large and open and the distillery is in the back. Our waiter Carlos took excellent care of us and gave us good recommendations along the way. I've never had an old fashioned in a bottle but theirs was excellent as well as the Evans Cucumber Collin's the wife had. We had the Boudin wontons, Grace's tomato stack and the shrimp brochette and all were delicious. We missed out on the distillery tour as those end at 5 when we arrived so will need to do that on another trip. Please check out this gem the next time you are on NOLA. And if you are a big vodka drinker, they have all you can drink for one price from opening until 3 pm!!

(Be warned that the rum is done in the Jamaican style and is an acquired taste -- it brings the funk. I love it. You may not.) A big shoutout to Tina, our tour guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the tour feel personal and easy to follow. She explained the distilling process in a way that was informative without being overwhelming, and her passion really showed. She kept things moving at a great pace while still making time for questions and conversation. Another special shoutout to Renee, the bartender. She was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and clearly skilled at what she does. The tasting was smooth, well explained, and enjoyable, with Renee making sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of while walking us through each pour. Between Tina's great tour and Renee's excellent service at the bar, the entire experience felt well run and memorable. If you enjoy quality spirits, good energy, and staff who genuinely care about your experience, 7 3 Distillery Company is absolutely worth a visit.

One of the highlights for me was a modern twist on the classic Sazerac--an elderberry and amaro version that was complex, unique, and unexpected. I also tried a coffee-inspired Sazerac that was incredibly smooth, with rich espresso notes that balanced perfectly with the bold flavors of the original. It was so good it honestly made me forget about Patrón XO Cafe. Each floor includes a tasting sample along with a recipe card, which was such a nice touch and makes it easy to recreate the drinks at home. The space is very well set up, with elevators and bathrooms on every floor, and you can even see parts of the distillery during the experience. In hindsight, this absolutely deserved a spot on our itinerary. It's a unique combination of a liquor shop, museum, and immersive experience, where they walk you through the history of some of the iconic drinks that originated in New Orleans. The entire experience from the visuals to the storytelling to the tastings comes together beautifully. I was genuinely amazed that something this well done is offered for free. After the tour, we wanted to pick up a few bottles, but unfortunately they were out of what we were looking for. We even came back the next day, but it was still out of stock, which was a bit of a letdown. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. Overall, this is a must-do experience if you're in the area.

After figuring out how to get into the building I was led into what almost looks like my old chemistry teachers lab for a product tasting. I love the small feel of the place and that it seems to be in an art collaborative. I wish more of the other spaces in the place had been open, there were some interesting looking spots.
