The quiche was fresh, somewhat cheesy and my favorite thing there. The Chicken Pot Pie is one of the best I've had in a while. It's creamy, crust is flaky and good mix of chicken with veggies. The staff are so kind, friendly and hard workers. I'm not sure why this place doesn't ever seem to be packed, but they absolutely should be. Do yourself a favor and try any of their meals, it is sooooo worth it. The restaurant is rather small, but enough to seat 40 people or so (+/- 10). Lucy was waiting on a woman who had driven down from Brattleboro. This woman was praising the decaf coffee, and baked goods. I opted for a lemon bar and an almond croissant with chocolate. The woman approved. Quick digression - very clean bathroom, w an interesting painted sink (see pix)....and an old Remington typewriter. The lemon bar was amazing. My lips were so puckered the rest of my 50+ mile ride home, I was fantasizing about my good friend, also named Lucy, and what I could do with those puckered lips. We weren't particularly hungry so I can't comment on the food, but we did take a walk around and paid for a quart box for blueberry picking. This was our first time and we had no idea what we were doing, but soon enough we filled up our little box very nicely. I recommend you bring some Off or some kind of bug spray if you're anything like me and bugs love buzzing around your ears. Inside the one of the barns was their stores and I picked up a bag of caramel puff corn and a delicious Apple Cider slushie. Everyone was very friendly. Overall we had a very good time here, and I hope to come back on an empty stomach so that I can try out some of their cider donuts.

The frosting was uneven and had visible marks throughout the cake. To the bakery's credit, they did honor the original $60 price I was quoted after there was some confusion at pickup. However, I was disappointed with the final product and felt it did not reflect the design I ordered. I've included photos of both the inspiration cake and the cake I received so others can make their own comparison.
