At that time, they were stocked at the now defunct Art Lounge in Mailbox so off I went to buy a couple to taste (always Vanilla and lemon if I'm having two). I emailed Dali & Mary, the ladies behind KMCC & a beautiful friendship is formed. 3 year later and the business has gone from strength to strength, moving away from having a few cakes being stocked at coffee shops to catering for weddings, birthdays and all manner of celebrations not to mention seemingly being the go-to baker for product launches in Birmingham. I myself have ordered plenty of times including some surprise birthday cakes for my boyfriend with the Action Man logo & more recently, Kiss Me Cupcakes contributed to the launch of Coffee Birmingham; an event that serves to highlight the quality of the indie coffee houses and indeed all of Birmingham's indie businesses. I tried two cupcakes when I went to the shop (which is in rather odd location of 69S behind the Oil Change Store across the highway from Jim Meyers Drug South): Pea Pickin' (on the recommendation of the staff) and Granny Holland's Pecan Pie.
