Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. The fantastic service made me want to leave a review. Our server Mark and everyone that worked here were incredibly friendly and service was on point all throughout the night. The food was really good too. We got the watermelon pepita salad which was perfectly dressed and the watermelon was so fresh and juicy. The ribeye tacos were cooked just right and tender. The pollo serrano was really good and I really enjoyed the serrano pepper it came with filled with cheese. For my drink I chose the blackberry margarita and it was yummy, perfect with their chips and bean dip. I can't wait to go back and enjoy more of the yummy food. read more

Found this place through TikTok videos, decided to give it a try. Came with my friend on a Saturday evening, we didn't wait long to get seated. This place is aesthetically pleasing love the interior decor and the ambiance is charming and pleasant. Our waitress Ariela was friendly and patient, she provided a positive dining experience. Went for a birthday dinner with a private room and our food arrived at different times, everything took long . You would expect more for 20% gratuity. A guest at the dinner ordered wine and they brought an empty glass that sat on the table for at least 10mins before she called the waiter back. Two of us ordered plates that came with tortillas and we never got those. The drinks were good but also arrived at different times. The food was ok, we weren't asked how we wanted the meat and two of us got steak fajitas, the other guest received rare and mine was a combination of medium well and medium rare. We came here last Thursday for a girlfriend's birthday dinner and had an amazing time from start to finish! Our servers, Alexis and Sammy, went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of for the entire evening. We had a large party of 18, and they were so patient and accommodating to all our guests. We chose to do family style although some guests were vegetarian, and based off Alexis and Sammy's recommendations, we had the perfect amount of food and all of the dishes were delicious! According to our friends who had the vegetarian dishes, the veggie tacos were amazing as well! Thank you so much to Alexis and Sammy for a lovely night. They were both so friendly and attentive, super helpful, and even though we asked them to take a million and one photos throughout the entire restaurant (there were just too many insta-worthy backgrounds!!!) they did so with a smile and were happy to do so. Absolutely LOVE this place! From the moment you walk through the door the staff makes you feel like you're family. The ambience is wonderful and the food is second to none! This has become one of our go-to places to eat for all types of occasions. The staff all went above and beyond to make the experience memorable, but then their General Manager, Jacob Migliaccio, came to the table and really put a bow on the whole trip! Over all the service is great as well, except for the host that greet you at the very front. Tall skinny blonde woman who doesn't smile and has RBF. I dont blame her or trying to get her in trouble at all. She is probably going through something in life like we all are sometimes. The food was great. I was part of a big party of 9. HOWEVER, the service was LESS THAN GREAT. My manager got a dirty plate with salsa spilt on her and when I realized I had left my sunglasses after 10 min of leaving, Noah had me on hold twice for over 6 min each time until the call dropped. After waiting twenty minutes, someone else finally answered and checked the spot where we were sitting, quickly finding my sunglasses. It is beyond me why this was so hard in the first place. I was considering having my wedding rehearsal dinner here and got a card to contact Courtney. After this, I will choose a different spot. read more

This was my second time at Calo, and I'm very disappointed. Our first experience in January was great! Amazing service and good food. This time around, the food was very good, but the service was not. I went with my 3 friends that I haven't seen in a while, and we were asked every 5 minutes what we wanted to order as soon as we sat down. It felt extremely rushed. Once we finished our food, our plates were taken and the server came back and started cleaning our table while we were having a conversation....literally lifting our waters up and wiping the table down with a wet rag. It was so strange and rude. I was excited to order the churros, but instead she came back with the check and never offered dessert. Asked twice if our check was ready, so at that point I felt like they really wanted us out of there. Didn't even bother to ask for my anticipated dessert. Not a great experience, not sure if I'll return after this. I sat down by 6pm and was rushed out by 7:40pm. read more

Good food and ambience for family and friends dinner. I would come back and go from time to time when craving.

First let me preface this by saying the food is consistently good and the servers are hospitable. My issue is with seating large parties in open areas (patio section) where the noise and obnoxious behavior disrupts the surrounding patrons. Celebrating my birthday at Calò this evening with my 4 family members was one of anticipation for an amazing experience when we arrived to quickly shifting to one of disappointment by the time we left. Please Caló management, have some control over your large party guests. If I wanted to be in a Javier's NB atmosphere I would've chosen to go there on my birthday and not Caló. Consider placing large parties in the private room section. For all of our sakes. I could see the patrons around me looking just as frustrated as us. We couldn't hold a conversation at my table because it was that loud - on a Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. The large party guests were standing and walking around their table socializing like it was their own private space. It was frustrating to say the least. Please do better. read more

Highly Disappointed in the customer service Caló Restaurant has to provide. I put in an inquiry for a party of 20 people 11 days ago. They request emailing inquiries for parties of this size. They need 24-48 hours to respond and after that grace period I kept messaging them to follow up. It took 7 days and 3 emails to hear no response. 6th day I call and speak to a manager- tell her everything about my request and doesn't get back to me at all. I call 4 days after speaking to her to tell another manager my request all over again bc he's learning about it for the first time. They do not take parties of this size during their rush hour of 4pm-8pm. I wasted my time . Not one host/ person answering my phone call was able to tell me this. Highly disappointed in their weak communication and lack of care when it comes to a concerned customer. read more

All the staff have been kind, professional and have made my visits feel special. I've especially enjoyed Kaylee who is very friendly and sweet and makes an excellent Margarita!
