Damn, it's been a couple of months now and I've been able to control the climate of my entire house from my phone, optimizing the temperature and sometimes making it as low as 66F to just enjoy the air being crisp. The install has been fantastic quality and the crew listened to everything I wanted every step of the way. They mounted rat spikes where I wanted, they put the lines and the units exactly where I asked and I've had no issues at all. I truly believe with home price comparisons in my area that I made money off of the install because it increased my home value. Shady Sales Tactics! Beware of phone calls from this company…read more I've received several calls from this company in the last few months. Their voicemails claim they've taken over for HVAC Gurus, who is no longer in business. They claim I had pre-paid HVAC Gurus $279 for an AC Tune-up and Trio is honoring Guru's contracts by performing services already paid for. Here's the problem....I have no such contract with HVAC Gurus. I once had them give me a bid on attic insulation, which I did not accept. That's the extent of my business with them. My first reaction was to find all correspondence between me and HVAC Gurus to make sure I didn't somehow sign up for something I didn't want. I also checked with my credit card company to make sure I didn't give them my CC#. After 30 minutes wasted on investigating, I found nothing. I called Trio Heating, Air & Plumbing. I explained I was getting these phone calls. I was told that Trio DID NOT buy Gurus or take over for them in any way. He said Gurus stopped doing business and their contact list was passed around. He said they got a hold of this list and they are calling people to offer them a free AC Tune-up, valued at $279, in hopes of getting them to sign up with them going forward. I called him out for the lies in the phone message, that I read to him, where it specifically I had pre-paid, as well as everything else I stated above. He changed his story. He said he had a list of pre-paid customers as well as a list of people who didn't pre-pay and somehow the lists got mixed up. After I got off the phone, I discovered a text message from Trio that said they had just called me and that they are offering the AC Tune-up free, valued at $279. This completely contradicts the message the same person had left moments prior. I called the phone number for HVAC Gurus. A recording came on that says Trio is now handling their customers. So Trio lied to me when they said they did not take over their business, but just got a hold of a list that was available to other HVAC companies. I sure hope this list of pre-paid customers that got carelessly passed around didn't include credit card numbers! They may do a good job, but shady sales tactics designed to deceive customers is a good way to get a bad review from someone who may have been interested in their services.

Her gas fireplace was originally working for the inspection, but unfortunately the pilot light got turned off since she moved in. She had tried to fix it in her own, but the glass was screwed on so tightly that she wasn't able to get access. In addition, the glass had become foggy and clearly had not been cleaned for a long while. After opening it, it seemed like the previous owner had tried to burn real wood in the gas fireplace. Charlie was able to get the glass off, which took quite a bit of effort. He fixed the pilot light and adjusted the flames. It works perfectly now.
