Looked all over, all other companies were quoting me $300-500 dollars or couldn't help with just a screen. Osman can out on same day to an open slot becoming available last minute. Mediocre quality; annoying installer. Do not recommend. The frames of the screen are loose within the window and the screening itself sags easily. I expected better with the 30% upcharge for custom sizing. When I pointed out the looseness to the installer, he kept saying "that's normal" and that you can't push on it too hard (I was barely applying any pressure.) He didn't even do me the courtesy of accepting my evaluation, but kept pushing me to agree with him. (I didn't.) read more

I recently had window screens installed and overall I'm very happy with the product. I love that they charge a fixed rate based on the screen dimensions--transparent pricing like that is refreshing. The screens themselves look great and fit perfectly. That said, the installation experience could have been better. The crew arrived late, and unfortunately they tracked dirt onto my carpet, which I had just cleaned. The marks turned out to be difficult to remove and left some staining. It would go a long way if installers took a bit more care--like wiping their feet or wearing shoe covers--before entering a customer's home. In short, I'd recommend for the their screens and fair pricing, but I hope they improve on professionalism during installation. read more

I reached out to a bunch of vendors on Yelp - all of them gave me these crazy expensive quotes. I only needed one screen repaired. Raul was open and honest about his rates, he had a work minimum and he stuck by it. Because one screen alone did not meet the minimum, we had another screen repaired. He scheduled an appointment time with us and ended up being able to come earlier. He arrived and from start to finish he was done within 30 minutes. Raul is very responsive and professional. Not sure what else to say that hasn't been said -- called, and a day later they came on time and replaced a ripped (dog related) sliding screen and even fixed a bend in the frame that was there with prior owners, changing out the original material with a more durable pet resilient material (that looks the same) for less than half what it would have cost to get a new screen from Andersen. Great experience. Cal Screens Pro was extremely responsive from the get-go. I had my entire house re-screened. Most were replaced, but the tech let me know that a few frames could be reused. Which I liked from an eco- standpoint. He set up in the driveway and over the course of a few hours measured, built and installed the new screens (and carted away the old). I later noticed several of the screens had more slack than I liked. I let Cal Screens know and they were out the next day - my concerns were addressed, and they made sure I was happy with the work before they left. NICE. Cost-wise, roughly comparable to ordering online. My online estimate included the fancy "invisible" mesh but considering Cal Screens Pro does house calls they are by far the better bargain. I'm picky when it comes to work on my home and was impressed by this company. I enthusiastically recommend Cal Screens Pro. 11 out of 10 stars! read more
