I really liked that they offered Anlin windows, and their pricing was very competitive compared with other companies that quoted me for Milgard. I was originally told the window might take around 7 weeks, but the installation ended up happening earlier than expected -- in only about 5 weeks. I had used American Vision Windows previously for our condo unit governed by an HOA. They did a great job, so now that I needed to have the 75 year old windows in my house replaced, I thought again of using them. I received several bids, and chose them for their quality and fair price. Antonio was our salesperson and project manager this time. He came at exactly the appointment time to discuss our requirements and to review our options. We chose premium wood clad Provia windows. We ordered 11 windows, 3 of which are of the new construction type to allow them to rebuild a custom bay window. They did all of the work with the town to pull the permits and arrange for inspection. We ran into a small snag when the building inspector informed us that one of the windows in each bedroom had to be upgraded to meet new egress requirements. This required us to switch from double hung to casement for one window per bedroom. The look of the casements are almost identical to the double hung, so the outliers would not look incongruous. Antonio facilitated the change order seamlessly. On the day of the installation, they sent 3 crews. They executed the work in all rooms simultaneously. We left the house until they could complete the work. Amazingly they were done in about 7 hours, except for the custom bay, which required a second visit the next day for finish carpentry and stucco replacement. That, too, was done quickly and efficiently. We are quite pleased with the results. The windows look great and operate smoothly. Kudos to American Vision and the members the team, including Antonio, Luis H, Eric, and Alex. read more

Fantastic product and fantastic service - years apart! Several years ago (20+) American Vision Windows replaced all of the windows in my home. To this day, I LOVE them. Recently, we had an accident and had to have the main window that faces the street replaced. It's next to another window (on corners) and the two must match. AVW was able to special order the new window and it matches exactly to the other one. Their reps are responsive and engaging. We had such a pleasant experience. (Thank you, AVW reps!) Everyday that they came into the house, the put down cloths on the floors where they would be working and walking. Everyday when they left they gave us an update on what was accomplished and what needed to be done the next day. We had a few hiccups (our old windows were wider than our new ones) but as Luis said, "There's always a solution." They were very careful with our belongings and also careful with the new windows and doors. Screens didn't go on until the very end after the stucco was done. These windows are very nice, super quiet, and competitively priced. Installation wizards were fast thank you Luis H, Mark W, Alex N, and Luis T. I wish two things: 1- We shouldn't have gotten the energy-efficient tint. That's on us. Prefer more light and willing to pay higher AC bill. 2- These windows were gating the sale of our house. They expedited the windows for us which was a huge plus. But then the 3 weeks they shaved off getting them early was completely squandered because there was no advanced notice the windows were coming that early. And guess what- installation appointments were exactly 3 weeks out. Totally missed opportunity to get ahead 3 weeks. I wish they kept us informed of the schedule. When we called to ask to they just said they were working on it. Since that snafu offset their bonus expediting, I'm not counting this against them in the overall review score. But if you are trying to do the same you need to push harder for delivery date IN ADVANCE! Or have them hold slots for you. I mean seriously how much goodwill did they burn with the supplier hurrying up, only to then sit in your warehouse for 3 weeks? read more
