Rick ended up coming by Saturday morning to see from the inside what was going on. He determined that I just needed a chain and that my door was in good shape and didn't try and sell me anything I do not need. (Even though this could have been a profit for him. ) I went with a new opener since mine was 16 years old. He installed a new opener, a keyless entry pad (which is awesome), and he replaced rubber seal at the bottom of my existing garage door. He also greased all the required parts.
