This place is a scam they sale you cars that have low miles but in reality they all have high mileage on them they run back the miles on the cars they sale . I bought a Honda here and when I bought it had 105,000 miles on it I took it home I ran the vin number and the car had over 200,000 miles on it . Absolutely NOT!!! Totally unprofessional at every step of the process!! Bid was forced up by a poser in the auction! They tried to add additional cost to release the car bc they didn't answer the phone all day and we missed the 10am-2pm pickup time! As soon as we drove the car off the lot and on to expressway it overheated and died, leaving us stalled!! It's Currently in the shop $$ & now 7days later we are still waiting on missing information/documentation we need to get an actual title... without that we can't be cleared at the DMV. This company is a fraud. You can go to this company and check out the cars; which is a good thing. The cars are marked up before the live auction. They have their in house fake bidders. If a customer don't out bid the requested bid their in house bidders will pretend to buy. A month ago I attended a live auction & I witnessed a week later that 99% of the cars sold in the prior week returned a week later. I realized this is a scam!This yard has a great selection but everything isn't to be what it appears. The positive that you can check out the vehicles that the current owners are trying to get rid of their broken down cars. Acquaintances have had some good & bad luck. So I ended up moving closer to this place last year and needed a car. I decided to give it a shot again after the terrible experience I had years ago. Finally after getting their actual hours I went. The auction is pretty straightforward. I bought a low mileage Honda with a check engine light on I was prepared to fix. What I wasn't prepared for was all the other sh@t that came with this car. First I went to see what was wrong and how much. Come to find out the mechanic tells me this car had illegal parts that didn't even fit the car rigged on it. And it was gonna cost over 1k to fix. So I was like ok f#ck it I'll fix it. I go to the DMV to see how much it is the get the tags done. Over 1500 in tag fees. And I'm like how the car has new tags. Come to find out the tags on the car were not the cars and that car hadn't been registered in 3 years. So for the 1k I spent buying th car I was about to be out 3000k. So I let them know if they did not take this car back and give me a full refund I was going to head down to the court and file small claims and damages. They blatantly sold me a car with illegal tags and parts. After a week of giving me the run around they called and said bring the car back and gave me a full refund. DONT GO HERE IT'S A TRAP. Worse place on earth to purchase a vehicle! Do not, I repeat do not buy anything from these crooks. Sold me a Mazda mpv that has a thrashed axle, bad bearings, missing catalytic converter. And only God knows what else. The second I drive out the parking lot the thing made loud noise of brakes dragging etc... the trick was this vehicle was like second to be bid on. It was in the front of the line so Noone could hear all the noise it made. The second bidding concluded, the guy races over demanding$300 deposit. Don't buy a car from them. I bought one for my son and had nothing but trouble trying to get it registered. They didn't give us the correct paperwork, so after going to the DMV, we went back to them. They told us they would get the paperwork, but after several e-mails they stopped responding to us. And if we tried to call, it went straight to voicemail. After about 3 weeks, we went back to the DMV and explained what was going on and they finally gave us a paper to sign and we got the title. Cali Auction was no help at all. read more

Purchased a car here , codes were erased . After driving it down the street the check engine light came out , turns out it needs a new transmission. I head to the mechanic and they all asked me where did I purchase the car from. Once I showed them the address to this place they all said that this is cali auctions reputation , one of the gentlemen said his buddy used to work here but quit because of all the shady things they were doing to peoples moms and grandmas . The auction itself was suspicious , I observed multiple men randomly bidding on cars once but never purchasing anything , after the auction was over I saw the same men all hanging out with the people who run the place . I'm sure they are sitting on the side hiking up the prices during the bids . Do yourself a favor , there are so many businesses that actually care about their business and reputation . I came in and I was greeted well and from beginning to end customer service was amazing..... I was still not convinced and started asking every question in the book and all questions were answered.
