I took my car to a specialist and they performed Rigourous tests and diagnostics to prove what I thought was correct. I put in $5500 for repairs and my insurance came out of pocket $8900 so that I'm not driving around in a death contraption! With that sum of money I could've bought a better vehicle at a more credible dealership and at this point I wouldn't mind paying more interest than going through this hell again. Mi cuñado, mi sobrina, y yo escuchamos lo mismo. Mi cuñado al preguntarle si el carro que estábamos viendo era de otro estado el señor se puso nervioso y negó haber hecho el comentario. Mi cuñado en frente de el señor nos explicó que muchos dealers de reventa traen carros de otros estados con daños causados por agua que causan muchos problemas. Los tres escuchamos lo que dijo el vendedor y al negarlo nos dio mucha desconfianza. Encima de eso por ser mujer tratando de negociar la tratan a uno como si no supiera de lo que está hablando. Guarden su dinero y vallan a otro lado. Y no compren carros de otro estado. Be careful with this place! We went to see a car and we took my brother-in-law who doesn't speak Spanish but understands it. The man showing us the car explained to us that, they inspect the cars before putting them up for sale and mentioned that even those they receive from out of state do not get put out for sale until they are "ready." My brother-in-law, my niece, and I heard the same thing. When my brother-in-law asked him in English if the car we were looking at was from another state, the man got nervous and denied having made the comment even after I repeated the question in Spanish and his comment. My brother-in-law in front of the man explained to us that many resale dealers bring cars from other states with water damage that cause a lot of irreparable problems. The three of us listened to what the seller said and when he denied it, he lost our trust. On top of that, because you are a woman trying to negotiate, they treat you as if you don't know what you are talking about. Save your money and go somewhere else. And don't buy cars from another state.
