I have been going here for YEARS! Everyone is always great! Andrew ALWAYS does my hands and he DELIVERS every.single.time! Ann ALWAYS does my feet! Shes so dam good at finding EXACTLY the color you want, if not, she will make the color happen for you, and her massages are the best!!I'm Super picky and have major OCD so me being a client for this many years should tell you everything You need to know about Cali Nails! Also, the vibe is always great, nice welcoming people always!
So instead of apologizing for what happened they responded with it being my fault. That's not how you should run a business. I don't know if your system made a mistake or what but I had Ann's card in my hand when I made the online appointment. I made the appointment with Ann because she did my nails so well the last time I was there. You leave out the part that I was told Wendy would be able to do at least ONE of the pics I gave you (I showed you 4) you picked. Then when it didn't turn out she didn't even remove the polish completely. I have color around the edges when I asked for it to just be removed and put clear over my fill. The problem is your behavior when I complained. You looked me in the face and told me you never said she could do what I showed you, you told me that I never gave you options, and you had the audacity to tell me that there isn't anything wrong with what I paid for. THAT IS A PROBLEM. In fact I'm going to attempt again to post pictures of it. All you would have had to do was APOLOGIZE for a bad experience and move on. But instead you double down and say it's MY fault. Every other customer as they were leaving told me to go back in and say something (I was standing outside talking with a friend) so other customers saw this behavior and saw it as a problem. I wasn't going to even say a word. But then I did and this was your choice in a response. I will FOREVER tell everyone that asks how I was treated when I made the attempt to tell you that you made a mistake.
I came here after having an ingrown toenail.. it was so painful so I decided to go in, the gal who helped me was absolutely wonderful. She took her time with my nails and was thorough made sure she got the toenail issue fixed. I ordered the cucumber pedicure which smelled really good... the gal who gave me the pedicure did a great job on the massage too, very relaxing! I will be back!
Kevin took great care of my daughter. No appointment, she just talked in and was taken care of right away! My daughter showed Kevin a picture and he did his absolute best by using his time to make her nails look almost exactly like the photo. In my opinion Kevin went above and beyond! I told me daughter if she continues to get her nails done to make appointments with Kevin! I'm sure everyone else is amazing too, but I got to sit there and watch his artwork.
I was disappointed with my last set at my usual place that I go to. I had gotten my nails done earlier that week and just wasn't happy with them so I decided to try Cali nails and spa based on their yelp rating. They did not disappoint! Amy did my nails. She took off the old set without hurting me. She did a new that was absolutely stunning. I was so happy! Very clean designs. And she was fast! I was in and out of there in a little over an hour, which is amazing given the takeoff and the full set and the design. The interior isn't super fancy. There's not a lot of decorations hanging on the walls. But I think I've found a new spot. I will definitely come back here for my next set or fill. Oh yeah- the pricing was good too.
I'm super basic so I don't typically get my nails done but when Spring and Summer hit, I make it a point to get my toes together. I was able to get a last min appt online for a basic pedicure and they were able to take me to the chair as soon as I came in. They have a pretty good selection of gel color options, and the pedicure packages start at $35 for a basic one. It is $15 extra for gel polish, but get the gel polish. It won't last you if you don't. The basic pedi gets you the typical foot bath in warm water, nail trim and cuticle clean up, foot/leg scrub as well as a foot/leg massage. Wendy was so great. She offered me cold water to drink and really took her time with my whole pedi. I didn't feel like she rushed through it at all. She even did 5 coats (base, 3 coats polish, and top coat) whereas most places will only do 2 coats of polish. She did a really great job with the polish and even went back in trim my cuticles back farther for nice, neat toes! They do accept card but 2% transaction fee, otherwise you can send venmo or zelle. They just ask you to not indicate that it's for nails! I love that they have online bookings and last minute availability for a busy mommy like me, so this will be my new go to spot in the area for my pedis.
My irreparable, damaged nail cut occurred July 7,2025 so this review is submitted in case that employee is still working. I originally would ask for Ben to do my mani-pedicures and he was wonderful and consistent! However, on this date Ben had done my pedicure and was going to start on my manicure when the woman who was upfront answering phones and rushing all around, told him to go do someone else and she would do my manicure. I so regret not speaking up and refusing. Ben didn't seem to have any say. The woman would stop and go answer the phone while working on my nails and was not focused on what she was doing. It wasn't until I went out to the car saw blood on my nail. I should have gone back inside and confronted the woman. I decided to go home and wash my hands thoroughly. I assumed the nail would heal with care. The nail never healed, and the doctor says it is ONYCHOMYCOSIS and because of its location, the nail will not adhere to the nail bed so I will be stuck with having a permanent disfigured nail and/or losing the nail. I am so upset. The only reason I am submitting this review is to warn potential clients to realize how important it is to stay with your person you have requested and speak up right away when you know something is wrong.
Would give 0 stars if I could. See pictures for what I wanted vs what they did. I showed him the picture multiple times and when I told him the length wasn't right he gave me attitude and said "well that's a lot of work do u want me too" and I said yes bc the picture shows shorter nails And then when I showed him the shape again he said well u said square which idk when I would've said that but it was just a matter filing them again at which point I said just put white polish on it This place only does a good job if they are slow I've had multiple bad experiences bc they are rushed and Andrew the head nail tech is rude and I made an appointment and still was rushed Idk why he would think I'd want these and I left crying
I have never been more disgusted with a salon in my life. To give a back story I came here with my daughter to get her a full set. When we were done I sent Zelle for $55 and tipped $5 cash. The Zelle was taking forever to clear so I told them I would just get cash in the car. When I got to my car around the corner someone had smashed into the side of it. They were still there so I called the police and my insurance. Meanwhile the owner Tan Pham continued to call and text while I was on hold with the police department. I was still in the parking lot. He then started to text me nasty messages saying I was a bad mom with a dirty face and all kinds of despicable things. Once the report was made I walked back in with the cash and he started yelling at me saying I tried to steal from him not even understanding my car just got smashed in the parking lot. I asked for a receipt of payment and left. I am literally going to tell everyone i know to stay away. I have all the messages he sent and will have them posted on yelp and other social media outlets.
Great service and quality, did not feel rushed at all. They took their time on my pedicure and deluxe gel manicure and the massage was long, big extra points. I'm pretty picky about my nails and often will go to a place once and never go back. I will definitely be continuing to go to Cali nails. Will be recommending this salon to friends and family in the future.

I never leave reviews but today I had by far one of the worst manicures. This was NOT worth $50. One girl started my nails, then passed me off to a guy who rushed through the rest of my nails. This was a powder dip (not gel). read more

Amazing service! I am long overdue for a review but better late than never .This set was done by Andrew, and as always he did an amazing job . I've gotten my nails done by most of the staff and they all have been detail oriented, gentle, and are always checking in to see if it's to my liking. read more

This place is ready good. The staff are nice and considerate, making sure the color and shape are what you want. My only problem is that be prepared to pay at least $10 over the starting price. I haven't had my nails done in a long time and don't remember all the extra charges for shape and color. So if you're new to getting your nails done or new to this salon, beware the extras. read more

I am a faithful Cali nails client. I followed Andrew over from another salon and would not even consider going anywhere else at this point. The staff there is always so friendly and as busy as they are they always get you in quickly with or without an appointment. I love showing inspiration pictures to Andrew and seeing what he comes up with. I always get what I want and my nails always look beautiful. Thank you Cali Nails! read more

Lord, knows I don't like saying ugly things; but He doesn't want me to lie most of all! For some reason Kevin just couldn't or WOULDN'T get it through his mind what I was asking for. He made an unnecessary SCENE and humiliated me in front of a bunch of lurking eyes just staring at me for their entertainment. The ultimate negative nail shop experience that I did not appreciate and I REFUSE to return if I am to be treated that way! Obviously, I am not allowed to ask for a design from one photo and a different shape from another. What was so hard about that? And then I'm so surprised at Andrew! Instead of making it right, he made matters worse by trying his hardest to take up for Kevin who was behind me stomping back & forth, hoopin & hollerin with all this rage! Andrew's not making any sense telling me my nails are too short to do Square/Square shape! What??? So when a mad man is so upset at something so small he cannot comprehend a simple request: a design from one pic, a different shape from another & then here's Andrew not listening to a word you're saying because he's so focused on trying to sound right instead of making it right, I just give up & leave. Then make a quick stop at CosmoProf, because guess what, I'm a licensed cosmetologist too! That's why I know nothing Andrew was saying was making any sense whatsoever! They act crazy in there! I did not expect that out of Andrew. I am VERY disappointed in him. I had to go home & shape them myself! I didn't want fat coffin nails, I wanted skinnier square nails w/ red gel polish & a quick design. But I guess that's illegal there. He got irritated anytime I asked for something... read more

I absolutely love this place. I have been going to Andrew for years. I met him at a separate location but once he opened his new spot I followed him. I am a Very very picky girl about who I let do my nails, and I refuse to go anywhere else. They are always so punctual, they are so friendly, and the pedicures are also amazing. Such a clean atmosphere with amazing Employees. Andrews wife and brother are also my favorite !! They always take care of me and welcome me with a smile as soon as I walk in the door.Like I said before I am very picky and I really go all out with my nails and Andrew has never failed me. I like lots of bling some days, and others say keep it very simple. He is amazing at both . Sometimes I will show him the craziest pictures of what I want and no matter how long it takes he will sit there with me to make sure it is perfection that is one thing I love ! My mom and I came here because a friend of mine recommended we come. This is our second time here and we are so happy that we came back. Everyone is so friendly and if you tell them what you want or show a picture, they'll do even better! Today was my first appointment with Leann and she genuinely a sweet woman! Thank you Leann for my gorgeous set and Mai for my moms nails! She loves them! Also for you mothers out there! I had my baby girl (almost 2 years old) come in with me and sit on my lap during my pedicure without an issue. I can't stress how friendly everyone is! I will be coming here regularly and I will be recommending my friends and family come here too! Not to mention, my pedicure massage was amazing! read more

First time here and I am absolutely in LOVE!! Mai did my pedicure (with a broken toe) and was super gentle! She did an amazing job! My nails are the perfect shape, thickness, and length!! Mai is an absolute perfectionist! I LOVE them!!! I've gotten my nails done all over Fairfield/Vacaville and only review what I feel is worth reviewing and Cali Nails and Spa is by far the best one!! I am from Texas and visit California regularly, I've been to several nail salons in the Vacaville-Fairfield area...Cali salon has been the best and Ty is an excellent nail tech, he also did my pedicure. The salon was clean, service was timely, and prices are competitive. Visit Cali Nail salon and ask for Ty. read more

Extremely RACIST to African American women! Ladies if you're of African American descent ...TAKE your MONEY some where else. I just recently purchased a home in the area and needed a fill. Two white american women needing the same service came in after me (with NO APPOINTMENT) The two women were seated (asked how they were doing) and the nail techs began providing them service. They finally had me seat in a chair and told me I had to wait 10 minutes or so for someone to come from some place else to do my nails. Heck no! I work extremely hard and I will NEVER allow anyone to treat me that way when I am spending my Money! Black QUEENS STAY AWAY! read more

I always go to Cali Nails and Spa to get my nails done. I always come in with a crazy nail design that they are able to make it their own and perfect. I'm always satisfied with every nail design I leave with. I have been serviced by probably almost every nail tech they have and each are amazing. I love the collaborative effort they have here as they will help each other accomplish the nail design at hand. As you can see I came in for Halloween nails and they outdid their selves again! Andy suggested the beautiful charms and nailed the design. Ann did a majority of the design work as well. They teamed up for a beautiful set! If you are looking for a nail salon that can do it all and provide amazing work please come here! I come in with complex and detailed designs and they take their time to complete everyone. I love my nails every time Best nail salon in Solano county hands down. As you can see this set speaks for their expertise of nail designs. Thank you Cali and Nail Spa for another amazing set. I have been getting my nails done by andrew for the past few years now and i am never disappointed! I am very picky on my nail shape and he does it the way i like it every time. I'm more of a simple classy look but lately i've been dipping into a little bit more designs and colors . Still simple and classy! But give him any picture and he executes everytime. This salon is mostly busy so I know everyone there does a great job with nails and pedicures! I recommend making an appointments in advance! read more
