BE PREPARED TO BE SHOCKED - Cali Nails is TERRIBLE AND OVERPRICED, my wife and I both went in for some pedicures on our spa day. There were many issues, the worst being as we sat next to each other I decided to hold my wife's hand and I literally electrocuted her. At first I thought it was just static electricity, so I touched her again. Every time I touched her there was a current of electricity that was shocking her. As far as the pedicure they cut to deep on my wife's toes and gave her an infected toe nail and with being a guy barley did anything but cut my toe nails not expecting that I would know the difference. Worst customer service. Waited over an hour and a half to get a pedicure and by the time they got to me I told them I didn't have time for a pedicure and to just paint my nails. They were obviously upset and gave me this service as a result, charging me $25. Warning graphic images. Went to Cali nails about a month ago for a gel pedicure. The tecnichian ripped a piece of my skin/nail off with cuticle scissors very painfully. It was bleeding at the time but very little. She assures me it would heal. In a week it was still not healed and was getting worse. Later still I had to be put on antibiotics for the infection. I walk with a limp now. I cant excercise or do every day activities. My job requires me to be on my feet all day so I am in constant pain. DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS DANGEROUS AND DIRTY. when I called back at 4:20 pm 10/15/2019 the woman I spoke to was very rude and refused to do anything to fix this problem. She refused to give her name. read more

Worst nail salon in Idaho!! They refused to do regular polish on my nails and said they only carried gel polish. During mine and my friends appointment, one lady said "who is driving a black car?" We said we were and she told us we needed to move or they would tow it. We said we were parked right in front of the door and showed them through the window where we parked, and they just kept telling us to move it. When my friend started opening the car door, they told her it wasn't that car and rudely yelled to come back inside. When other customers would come in, the owner would yell at them to go sit in certain chairs and start saying something in another language with a very angry tone. The most unfriendly salon I have been to. I have had many many pedicures and this was the worst. I was literally done in 25 minutes. The foot massage never happened and the leg massage was 30 seconds per leg. $30 I can never get back. They had a good choice of nail colors. That's the only positive thing I can say. Uggg! read more

If you want acrylic nails don't go there. Every time I needed a new set they ripped off the old set and when I told them it hurt they ignored me like it didn't say anything also if I didn't like it they also ignored me. I'm never going there again and would suggest no one go there unless they like to sit there and have pain inflicted upon them while they be ignored. I have been to this place for pedicures in the past, however this experience made it my last! I got there at 0907, there was only one other customer getting a filler for finger nails. There was only one worker. He directed me to a chair and I sat there for 30 minutes. When the other worker came out, she was talking on speaker phone in Chinese to someone for 15-20 minutes. She finally started my pedicure! She spent 15-20 minutes on my feet which is fine but told me to sit for 5 min and let them dry. When I was done, I left and the nail polish smeared. Won't be back. I just moved to Idaho Falls and this was my first impression of this nail salon and it is for sure the last one! The only reason I came here was because no other nail shop had appointments available. First off the salon was not very clean. I think the customer service was just as bad if not worse then the condition of the shop! I know that English may not be their native language, but their demeanor was awful. They didn't even try to be friendly. The man that works there yelled at me to sit and take my shoes off I was so surprised that he thinks its okay for him to scream like that to his clients. I have been to may nail shops before and let me tell you I have never encountered such terrible customer service!! I only had them put gel polish on my nails and just as the customer service it was not good at all! If your looking for someone to do a good job and have decent customer service this is not the place!!! I made an appointment and they stuck me in a corner and I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for my appointment I had made days before to start, they kept giving me rude looks and didn't even fill the tub for me, I even tried to talk to one staff member as I got up to see why it was taking so long and she completely ignored me amd walked . We didn't wait too long for service, but she was done fast and did have my big toe bleeding. So when it came time to pay for services, I was told $40 for gel pedi. If your visiting Idaho Falls and need a place to get work done because everyone else in town is by appointment only and you have to get booked way in advance in Idaho Falls for any spa related appointment DONT COME HERE!! Signs are confusing on outside of door. Do you want me to wait and social distance outside or not? Horrible Customer service!! Walk in tell what I came in for (eyebrow wax) and asked what wait time would be because I saw 3 folks getting nails done and pedicure and we know those are 30-45min+jobs. I asked multiple times and no one would respond! Mind you I'm standing right by the guy and the lady he's working on is looking at me trying to help me. Finally last time I'm walking around trying to make eye contact with one of them for an answer and they tell me 5min. That's great I was glad I didn't have to wait very long. Uh ok that's not an issue I think folks would have but whatever she kept saying you can come back if you can't wait. I'll start off with saying the lady who did my nails was so friendly and nice and I enjoyed talking to her. However my nails don't look that great, it feels like she rushed through and didn't finish them properly. I got them done on Saturday and they are already chipped on Sunday and they are gel.. they should at least be good for another week or 2. The place is pretty dirty as well.. WORST experience ever!!!! My daughter went in to get her nails done and showed Henry two pictures of what she wanted and they looked NOTHING like it!!!! She wanted long, they were short and not even straight!!! He got the pink correct, but she wanted matte with white vertical stripes, he didn't do matte and did horizontal stripes! When she said this isn't what I asked for the manager yelled at her and said she should have showed him a picture and when she asked Henry if she did he ignored her!!!!
