We paid around $300, which I expected, but I'm not sure the experience justified the cost. One thing that stood out was the amount of information sent before the appointment and posted online. While I appreciate being informed, it felt overwhelming and difficult to navigate. The website and instructions could be simplified quite a bit. When we arrived, the owner came to our car wearing a large face shield mask, which honestly startled us. I think the appearance made everyone extra scared. Overall, the service was fine and the staff was patient, but I was expecting a warmer, more bubbly experience, especially for a business focused on babies and young children. The biggest disappointment was learning that a piercing gun was used. Because of that, I'm not sure we would return, but the experience wasn't bad enough to warrant a lower rating.

My go to piercing shop is Playerz Ink, i wanted to try something different and go to Cali Stylez, the piercer Sabrina is super nice and sweet I'll give her that, however the first time I went to get a piercing done I left with a crooked piercing, I voiced my concerns and she said most likely it's because of swelling and it would straighten up eventually, it did not. My thoughts were that maybe it's just not healed yet, so I decided to go back again for some more piercings, the past 3 times I've been to Sabrina she has gaven me the wrong jewelry for all my piercings causing them to look weird, I don't understand why you can't just put the right jewlery in?? When I looked at her Instagram page, everything posted on her page had the right jewelry, so why were mine any different? When I tried to voice these concerns to her via Instagram she never responded, when I called the shop I got sent to voicemail, cmon do better, don't come here read more

My wife came here for a tattoo last month, she asked for a specific tattoo which we had a picture of. Once we showed the tattoo artist he refused to do it claiming it would "take too long" and to come back on another day. So we came back a week later and he says he can do the tattoo but to come back in 2 to 3 hours because they have a lot of appointments after coming back for the 2nd time the owner told me they are closing soon and wont be able to do it in time, so we come back a 3rd and final time and agreed to do the tattoo. They asked for 150$ so I went to the atm and took out the money only for them to ask for MORE money in the MIDDLE of the tattoo. Super unprofessional. when i first went into cali styz i thought Joe was security for the shop, soi got scarred and left! but came back the next day with courage to walk past him and get tattooed by frank. when i first met frank it was two days after my birthday and i wanted a tattoo of Cypress HIll behind on my neck and he told me i didnt have a neck for a tattoo , he ended up convinceing me to put it somewhere else. it wasnt my first tattoo but it was the first time i was givin a sedative and the last thing i remember was frank counting backwards and then woke up in the back hallway feeling akward .......i love my tattoo and have been back two other times and will continue to go back , thanks frank keep up the good work. :) read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I'm from San Mateo California, I came here to get a tattoo because I couldn't find any good local tattoo shops in my area. I stopped by here to get my tattoo. Owner was VERY rude when I showed my picture of the tattoo I wanted he proceeded to rush me saying "there was other people in line" and "then told me to wait in the lobby waiting area where I waited for over 2 hours! After the tattoo I went home and my hand was swollen and red and is now infected. Even after being well care of. Not sure what caused it. I've been getting tattooed my whole entire life and have never experienced anything like this. read more

Went and got a tattoo here a while back. A cover up. Tattoo artist told me come back for a touch up in 2 weeks. I text 2 weeks later he says wait another week, after that I text again. Another tattoo artist tells me hes going to set up an appointment. (2nd time they left me hanging no reply. Its been months and Ive basically gave up atp. Service is horrible. Not to mention you could still see the old tattoo on the so what called "Cover up". Got recommended this place by a family member whos been coming for years. Disappointing cant get the bare minimum from a tattoo shop. This place is a disgrace. read more
