GO ELSEWHERE!! I had come with my friend to get a tattoo on a fun spontaneous evening out after getting some dinner. As we were hanging out waiting to get tattoos we both noticed they offered piercings. Weren't in the mood for some new holes at the moment but thought to ask about jewelry and see if there were any cute options. After talking with the piercer/tattoo artist and realizing her name was Sabrina I realized this was the person that used to work at a previous shop that had worked on me before and permanently damaged my friend and I, and ended up in the hospital with staph infections. I was so caught off guard and honestly so upset that this person is still actively piercing people that we left and didn't get our tattoos. I am still so scarred from the trauma that Sabrina caused me to endure and the hospital bills and pain I suffered. I'll attach photos below of what she did to me and the reviews I left for her from my previous encounter with her. Her Jewelry is extremely low quality, shes never there for you when you need help or issues with your piercing and extremely unreliable. PLEASE for the safety of your life, do NOT get pierced or serviced by Sabrina!!!! read more

I got my rook pierced here in Feb 2023 and my belly pierced August 2023, both done by Sabrina. She's a great piercer! My favorite bay area piercer hands down. When getting my rook done, she made me feel superrrr comfortable and I was super nervous about the pain level. It didn't hurt one bit! One of my favorite ear piercings. My belly piercing had more complications but that's happened before and Sabrina helped me out by changing it out to a longer bar for the swelling to go away. 10/10 WILL go again and I always recommend my friends coming here to get pierced. I actually wanted my tattoo to be about an inch in size, and Frank said, "If you were to get the size you wanted it would look like a stamp" and he was right LOL. Listen and trust your artists!! They are very honest with their pricing as well, they're not out here to scam you so I highly suggest this shop if you're looking to get some ink done! This place is more of 3.5 stars.... I came in yesterday to get a dreamcatcher done on my hand, but when I got home and was staring at it for a while, I noticed an error on the tattoo. The ring and lines inside the ring of the dreamcatcher aren't too clean, but I can't be picky about that since it is a small piece. Shading is a bit off too.. What really got me though was that the lines on the bottom left corner in the middle of the dreamcatcher aren't well connected. They don't look like petals the way they should, so it looks jumbled up. There are two extra lines that I don't feel should have been added, and I was a bit confused looking at it because don't you trace these tattoos? How do you make an error like that? It was a little upsetting to see, and I would give this place 5 stars if it weren't for that. I was told that touch-ups are free within the first month, and then there's a $20 charge after that.. ehh okay, sounds fair, but my other artist does touch ups for free soo.. ); My artist was Joe, and he was very friendly and easy going and gave me a good price for my piece. Overall, he did a great job, but I don't think I will be back here for anymore artwork. I wanted to try out a more affordable shop, but I will probably be sticking to my other artists. I do recommend this place to those who are looking for good deals though because my other artists have pricing ranges from $120-$200/hr. Cali Stylz is definitely great for smaller pieces and good pricing, but it would not be my go to for large pieces. I wouldn't want to risk a mess up on a large piece I get. read more

Came highly recommend by a friend. I made an appointment with Sabrina for 8 mths old baby ear piercing. I confirmed via text for Friday at 3pm her hours were 2-7pm. We arrived at 2:45 and the shop was closed. We were early so waited. I texted letting her know we arrived but the shop was closed. We waited till 3:20 and no one ever showed up at the shop or texted back. Not until 4:03 did I finally get a text saying "sorry didn't have my phone and the boss didn't show up and also made me wait." We were there waiting and I did not see anyone except a guy and girl walk up to the door to see it was locked. The girl had a phone in her hand so I can assume that was not Sabrina. Seriously disappointed we were looking forward to get my granddaughters ears pierced. I had seen other reviews that this place had done this with other customers but I was hoping maybe it was an off day for this place. I don't live close to downtown so it was a drive for us too. I do have sensitive skin.The piercings never healed and they migrated. The jewelry diamond things fell out and they were also sinking into my skin. I have gone back and she did replace one but it just kept happening again. So it's just the quality of the jewelry that doesn't go with my skin. I was up front about my sensitive skin and that I typically do titanium. She said they were titanium. I took them all out and unfortunately payed with Zelle so I am unable to do a charge back. Nice lady. Just not good quality jewelry. They were all discolored when I took them out. Which I've never seen. I've done other piercings at other places and have not had an issue. Hands down BEST place to get a tattoo!! I've gone here about 5 times I believe - and they are amazing! Every time I walk in first thing I notice is the artwork and music! Different but in a good way! My most recent tattoo was started by Frank (I haven't had time to get it done but will be going in soon to finish it) and he kept a conversation going which made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. after leaving a piercing studio that wanted to charge $200 for a simple nose piercing, I found Cali Stylz on Yelp. They were closed at the time but I sent a message asking what they charge and what their availability looks like. I got a message back with a phone number to call or text. I text them and they were just as outraged as I was about that other place wanting to charge me $200. they told me to text them about 30 minutes before to make sure they have time for a walk in. a few days later I text them and they said to head over. the guys there were pretty friendly. I'm not much of a talker so it was nice that they didn't try to force conversation like the overly friendly employee at the other place did. the whole thing took about a minute, verbally gave me after care instructions, I paid them $40 and left. If i could do a negative amount of stars on this thing i would. I went to this place because they had cheap deals on tats and peircings; 20 tats 40 dermal anchors. Sounds to good to be true? It is. I got a small owl tattoo and a dermal anchor on my shoulder. Both the tattoo guy and the peircer were HORRIBLE. That tattoo guy couldnt draw. His lines were crooked and he rushed thru the tattoo. He also did the same tat on my friend, which he horribly free-handed. Now the peircer is the most upsetting to me. He used CHEAP jewelry. His technique is sophmoric and unprofessional. Not to mention painful as f***! He couldnt even do it right the first time. He literally dug into my flesh 5 times to try and shove it in there and it still came out crooked. Again, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! If you want infectious jewelry and a painful peircing experience then go right ahead. But be advised this place is a sham. read more
