I stopped by on a random Monday for a quick consultation about re-piercing my navel after being turned down by the original shop that did it. After taking a look, Daniel explained that it was possible to re-pierce and that my original piercing had been done incorrectly, which likely caused my the piercing to reject. They also explained that my belly button is on the narrower side, so starting with smaller jewelry was important. While they mentioned there were pricier jewelry options with gems, they strongly recommended starting with a basic titanium bar to allow the piercing to fully heal properly. They were a bit busy and couldn't take walk-ins at the time (about a two-hour wait), so we scheduled for Thursday instead. This was honestly one of the best piercing experiences I've ever had--and I have many piercings. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I went in a little nervous, but they walked me through the process and explained exactly why they chose the placement they did. This was the first time a piercer actually took the time to measure and ensure the placement was absolutely perfect, even making sure the jewelry balls weren't too large. So i got my nose pierced at a diff place and i wanted to change it to a gold ring, i called several places but this was the only place that had it in stock, and I'm glad I came here! The guy was super nice and knowledgeable! He looked my nose piercing and measured it (I've been to several piercing shops and none of them have measured my nose like that). Unfortunately the other shop that pierced my nose chose a weird spot that putting a ring in would leave a bit of room.. i wouldn't have known if this piercing guy didn't tell me! He said that when he pierced nostrils, he usually asks if they're gonna get a ring so that he can measure a good spot for the future ring to fit into. That obviously didn't happen to me at the other place! I still had him change out my stud for a ring, there's a little bit of room but not bad! I love it! He also showed me other jewelry he has in stock, I'll def be coming back when i want to change out my ring. Absolutely AMAZING!!! Contacted the owner night before a holiday and he responded so quickly and polite! Parking near the studio might be slightly difficult, but not too bad. When we got into the studio I told him that I'd wanted an industrial and had been rejected somewhere else because they weren't 100% comfortable for... an unknown reason. The owner was able to help me understand the reasoning and have more detailed information on my ear. Absolutely knows his stuff. I picked out the piece, and he told me the price (very reasonable imo), and we got started soon after. Piercing area was clean and after he marked my ear making sure to line it up just so, boom! Got my first helix piercing! here! I was always nervous about the pain, but it wasn't bad at all! the piercing has a long backing to help with swelling and prevent infections, though the heart can rotate a little bit. Price of piercing includes the piercing itself with a large selection of jewelry to choose from, starting from surgical steel to titanium. I was advised to keep the piercing in for at least 6 months but I like my heart so much I might just leave in it. Can't wait to go back when this heals up! read more
