I don't really know what the procedure is for taking a car apart after an accident, but these guys seem to have done everything right and AAA just are unresponsive. They sent out a quote to my insurance the day after I dropped my car off, but AAA didn't tell me until I called them. Very high repair costs but I don't know enough to say if it's accurate. I wish I got a second opinion before taking it here because I couldn't get the car after it was declared a total loss. They were polite and respectful the entire way through though, even helping me carry my stuff out when I was cleaning out my car. They aren't allowed to do anything like help disassemble a dashcam though, so unfortunately I was forced to leave that behind. read more

When we got vehicle back there was a dead bird inside and it was used for storage for other Car Parts (not mine). The manager took me in his office and offered me a beer out of his office fridge. Everything!!! We took our vehicle to Caliber Collision in Marble Falls Texas after an accident, referred by State Farm Insurance. The man that helped us spent a total of 10 minutes with us in the parking lot while talking to another technician about another claim. He gave us an estimate of 1100.00 total. He never put it in the shop or bothered to put it on the rack. We ended up having our vehicle towed to a dealership and ended up with a totaled vehicle. Caliber is I unprofessional and a total waste of time. NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM. I would give them a minus 5 stars if possible. Beware customers. read more

I had a pleasant experience with this Caliber Collision location (S.Bell in Cedar Park). I was lightly rear-ended and my tail lamp was busted. I used the Free Online Estimate on Caliber's website and received a quote within a few hours. I had done a little research before and given the price of the part, I thought it was a fair estimate ~$450 I called the location to make an appointment and had one scheduled for the following week. I also ordered the part over the phone to ensure that we wouldn't have to leave the car in the shop for too long. When I arrived for the appointment the following week, the team quickly assisted me. The part unfortunately had a defect so they gave me a choice between ordering a new one or getting a discount off the broken one. I opted to go with ordering a new one. The following week I went in to get the new replacement which was in perfect condition. I was in and out within 10 mins. Andy was super helpful!! read more

Myself and my insurance called many locations near my home to see which location could take my vehicle immediately. I ended up taking my car into the Bell location in Cedar Park, Texas as this location said they could get to asap. The storage facility dropped my vehicle off to Caliber on 1/4/2024, then the following Tuesday 1/9/2024, I signed documents to approve their work and get them started on my vehicle. I was quoted 10-14 days for my repair. Towards the end of the January I called to get an update, as it was passed 14 days. I called in and the person handling my vehicle, Nick, gave me several excuses, and promised to call me that afternoon or the next day with an update. He didn't. The following week I called again to get an update and Nick said he would call me back in five minutes. He didn't. I called again a few days later and called him out on his lack of communication. We were well into February and he literally has ZERO knowledge of my vehicle. It was truly astonishing. Nor did he show any effort in trying and help figure out a ballpark date of completion. His ability to not give a hoot is disturbing for a service position. I mean, why do you even work in a job that you clearly aren't happy in? When I spoke with my insurance adjuster, He told me when he spoke to Nick, that he said I didn't approve the scope until Jan 26. This is FALSE. I signed Jan 9 and I have proof. So I reported this location to the board of insurance and they are not being truthful and causing additional damages. This lie was told because they hadn't started my vehicle and made this up to get by. It caused my insurance company to have to suck up the bill for my rental car to be extended, again and again. This is horrible business ethics. Then we also received several excuses of my vehicles needing parts and so they were waiting on parts and then they needed to contact the parts person....blah blah blah. And to top it off, I called and asked to speak with a manager on Feb 20 and the new girl gets on the phone. She too takes ZERO responsibility for my vehicle taking way too long. Ha! I guess they all are taught from the top. She is not different. She said she would call me that afternoon and she never did. Even though she said she was on it. The only thing she's on is the excuse-train with Nick - CHOO CHOO!!! My car is also out of tolerance. Ford's tolerance is 1/8 and my car has a gap of 1/4. Nick said no it's not, we aren't fixing that. I mean, just zero attempt at being helpful in any way. My husband just finally had to just shake his hand and walk away or he was going to lose his head. It was incredibly hard to deal with such ignorance and a person with such disdain for his job. So in the entirety of the nearly 2 months (49 days) my vehicle was in their facility, I received ZERO update phone calls from them. The ONE and ONLY call I received from them was the call at nearly 5pm that my vehicle was ready. Do not use this location. It's a complete cluster. They deserve negative stars. I highly recommend Crash Champions, as they are amazing at updates. My fleet vehicles will never see a Caliber Collision again. read more

Use this shop at your own risk. My husband's truck was hit and we took it to Caliber for repair. When we finally got it back his center console had been tossed. He had a flashlight, a lot of change, and a $50 Visa gift card that were all stolen. When we inquired about this we were pointed to their signs saying "not responsible for lost or stolen items." We only then learned from the manager that for the month they had our truck it was kept off site and unlocked. Though given the items that weren't taken it seems more likely that an employee stole our things. In any case, be aware that no security measures are taken for your vehicles when you leave it with Caliber. read more

My husband and I were helped by Will Connelly he made sure we stayed updated on what was going on with my husbands truck afterward we even had a mix up with the insurance company regarding the rental he even made sure that was taken care of. The truck came out in pristine condition I can't leave out Ashley she worked the front desk on the times my husband and i stopped in she was consistently helpful and bubbly. When I was able to speak to someone in person the customer service was excellent. but unfortunately it was impossible to get a call back. I received my car back 2 weeks early which raised some concerns but they assured me it was 100% fixed. over the time span of February-may i would take my car back multiple times to actually finish repairs. each time I was told" we will order a part for you and let you know in a couple days when it arrives." I would call multiple times a week with no call back for about a month,then I would eventually just have to show up in person to find out they have had my part for a month. this happened 3 times. took a total of almost 6 months for my car to be 100% fixed. plenty of unwanted stress in my life. friendly in person but would not recommend. read more

I came in with 2 requests, the first to fix a passenger side window that wouldnt roll up. They didn't do that and scheduled an appointment about 3 weeks later when they knew it would rain all three weeks and my window was still down. Took it to another shop and they fixed it in a day. Secondly, they were supposed to get my front left fender fixed because of a small fender bender I had in a parking garage. Took it in Tuesday after waiting 3 weeks from my appraisal and they said it would be ready to go Friday. Friday not ready they say Monday. Now its Monday and they say Wednesday. These people cannot keep their commitments. I am now paying an extra 6 days for a rental car. At least I chose an economy model. I would recommend Caliber to no one. read more

I have to commend caliber for being the most incompetent and horrendous insurance repair I have ever had. To get me to even write a review has to be a huge accomplishment. It's been over 3 months and have brought my car back 3 times and I still have issues and have to go to other shops at this point since I feel like it's beyond them. They were great at repairing the cosmetic damage, even if you can clearly tell the quality difference in the paint and how it was applied compared to the rest of the car. It's good enough. Lynn was incredibly rude when I called and asked about parts and rushed my off the phone with sass, it had been waiting for parts for 2 months at time, but changed her tune in person, how strange ‍?!?! Will was the only positive experience in how he handled and seemed to care about the situation and I appreciate him and his demeanor but even than, the last time I picked up he said he test drove car and I dont think he got over 40mph cause my steering wheels shakes like it has parkinsons at 60mph, and my road feel is way more noticiable, im outside of my mechanical depth at this point and basically lost but glad the car I bought in january and had a small fender bender a week later drives like trash now! I had to point out mechanical issues that were not seen or, as I imagine, even inspected, how do you miss a broken lower and upper control arm??? I'm DUMFOUNDED! Paid fees and drove away with broken suspension parts still on the car. Its really out of the ordinary for me to ever complain I just expect things to go right and go with the flow but this has been horrible and something needs to change, yall were great 5 years ago maybe management changed or you all started hiring jiffy lube mechanics no idea. read more

I used Caliber after hitting a deer in February 2016. They were amazing to work with and I knew I'd use them again if I needed a body shop. My husband works out of town and was involved in an accident June 30, 2016. Soon thereafter he began driving a company truck and our daughters had begun using my car. I began driving the truck while waiting for our insurance and the other party's insurance to fight it out. We had a lot going on at that time so I continued to drive the truck until the kids went back to school. Damage was not bad, only $1400.00 so it was certainly drivable. I dropped the truck off on September 1st. They took a few days longer than expected to do repairs. This was due to waiting for parts, nothing on their end. They were great keeping us updated and they were professional. I went to pick up the truck the following week and I noticed that the AC wasn't cooling. I thought it was just because it was sitting out in the sun all day and I was in stop and go traffic. I opted to get on the toll road so it would possibly start cooling faster. Well, that never happened. I called as soon as I got home and they asked me to bring it back in. We took it back a couple days later and they looked over several things and recharged with Freon. We got back in the truck and it was ice cold but smelled horrid, didn't matter much because we only live a few miles away. It was a strong chemical smell but we assumed it was due to some of the things they did to check the AC. The next morning I drove into Austin for a meeting. When I came out an hour later it was no longer blowing cold but the smell remained. I contacted Caliber again and they said that they weren't doing any work near the AC so it had to have already been going out. They asked me to pay to take it to an outside mechanic to look it over. He knew the shop well and went ahead and called to discuss with the manager. I opted not to pay a mechanic that he knew, as they are right next door. I contacted them a few times with no response and suffered through the heat. I explained that we brought the truck in over two months after the accident and the AC was working great when we dropped it off. As soon as we picked it up, it no longer worked and made sure to call and let them know immediately which was within about 20 minutes after pickup. Also, anyone who lives in Texas knows there's no way that I would've been able to drive the truck July through September with no AC. I've been begging my husband to trade the truck in since it can't really be driven with the kids for a good part of the year. He took it in just to see if maybe it was a quick fix. Turns out it's a $1000 fix. I understand that things happen and wasn't upset about it. I was very kind and patient and reached out with no responses. I'm frustrated because when they did repairs on my car I was so impressed. I took the truck and they did incredible work and they were beyond friendly. However, I will never return and can no longer refer others due to their unwillingness to accept responsibility for the damage that took place during repair and for them not returning my messages. read more

I've always used calibur Collision and had great results until I used the cedar park location, they had my vehicle for 3 months, due to parts on backorder, I didn't have rental on my insurance and got no help or assistance from calibur Collision on a loaner. when I picked up my vehicle, I noticed debris in the paint, missing parts and the next day my fender flare fell off. Upper management got involved and got me a rental and put my vehicle back in the shop for repairs on the repairs. The final product 3 months later was acceptable. I sold that vehicle and bought a new one and immediately hit a buzzard, breaking off my mirror and chipping the paint. I decided to give them a second chance and took my vehicle to get Inspected for damages so parts could be ordered. I was told it would be one week for the parts to come in. Three weeks later I called and asked if the parts arrived and was told no, they will call when they come in. I called back and said I was unsure I wanted them to continue the work, as the same issues as before were popping up, and miraculously I was told my parts were in and they hadn't been notified. When I dropped my vehicle off, I was voicing my concerns when the manager informed me, that since we had so many issues previously and now I had concerns on this new repair, that mabey it would be best if we parted ways and I could have it repaired elsewhere. I took it to service king in leander on a Monday and picked it up a day later on Tuesday, with awesome customer service and quality control, service king is now, who I recommend to all my friends. read more

I had a bad experience with Heritage Body when they stood me up on an appraisal appointment I had made for them. I walked-in to Caliber without an appointment and asked if they could do the appraisal for my insurance company and Ken jumped right on it and I was all set in 10 minutes. I scheduled the work with them, they coordinated with my insurance company and completed the work in three days. Heritage never called me back or made any effort to further purse my business. Chad, the manager, at the Cedar Park location was probably the most insightful and helpful person I've ever spoken with from any company. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained every single thing he was doing to my car very thoroughly since he was aware of how inexperienced I was with the process. I have had 2 great experiences here. The second was better than the first. Recently I was in a small fender-bender and because I had a good experience there before, there was no question that I would go back. Ken was great - he met with me earlier than they normally schedule estimate appointments because he knew I had to work early. They estimated 6 days for my repair and it took two. I went into today to schedule an appointment for necessary body work only to be treated like I was bothering the receptionists. I informed her my insurance company had sent over a work authorization and I wanted to see about getting an estimate for work to be performed. She with both verbal tone and non verbal communication acted as though I was a bother. Today is the 10th of June and she with an attitude told me that she could not get me in for an estimate until the end of the month. Since it was clear they did not want my business, I informed her to not worry about it and that I would go elsewhere. It must be nice to have so much business TTY hat you can treat people with such a bad attitude. I worked in customer service for over thirty years and never once did I let my bad days effect how I treat a guest to my business.
