I went here because I ran over something and the rubber undercarriage shield on my front passenger side was damaged and came loose. I was clearly panicked and anyone could see I was desperate and could beeasily taken advantage of. The technician took a look at it and gave me an estimate for a replacement. He was honest and said it was not an emergency and it would most likely be cheaper at the dealership. I said I would rather go with their services instead of the dealership. He wanted me to be safe, so he said his mechanic could take off the part so it would not be loose and dragging on the road. We have used Caliber Collision in Chandler on Arizona Avenue several times through the years. Wendy in the front desk and Arthur the quote specialist are very easy to work with. They are very responsive and great with follow ups. We had a rear bumper issue after full repair. They took the time to troubleshoot it and ordered several fenders to fix our Honda Odyssey. I also took my Honda Civic for a passenger door repairs and am very satisfied with that work they did as well. They have great customer service and highly recommend them. I unfortunately had a bad couple months vehicle wise, I took my car into Caliber Collision because of a recommendation. Derek Pierce was my service representative and he was amazing. He emailed me and texted me daily or quite frequently. (The one star rating is due to the management and overall experience I personally had, DP was great and this is no reflection on him.) The manager at this shop was the most inconsiderate and rude person I have ever spoke with. Every issue with my car he had an excuse for. I'm posting pictures below because it's unacceptable and completely unprofessional the way he treated me. This is how I got my car back from Caliber Collision. They unilaterally omitted work I'd specifically asked to be done without notifying me and then lied to me about the change in scope of work. I had my car repaired there a couple of years ago. The service and customer service was great. Today I stopped and asked them to check a noise under the front of my car. There was something under the front bumper that was hanging loose. They put a couple of clips on it to secure it and sent me on my way. Thanks so much for all your help. Can't say enough good things about our experience at Caliber. We had a scraped up bumper that needed repaired and painted through an insurance claim. Caliber made a reasonable offer to also repaint some other scrapes on the bumper not related to the claim for a small additional cost. Totally worth it. The repair time took the quoted time and Rich was very proactive with updates throughout the week. I always knew what was going on with the work and even got text status updates too. A day after we got home an odd thing happened where some of the paint peeled off. We called Caliber and they immediately made room in their very busy schedule to fix it and even got us a rental car. I was so impressed how quickly they got us in, their incredibly high level of service and immediate accountability to fix the work. You can't go wrong with this team! My daughters car was in an accident. There was so much wrong with this experience I don't know where to start. I will bulletpoint the highlights. *poor communication - did not receive ONE phone call with an update and car was at shop for a month (was told it would be 4-5 day repair) *was asked to pay for brand name parts out of pocket because was told my insurance company was giving them cheap parts-I'm so glad I refused to do this ( this shop is obviously so untrustworthy and we would have had NO proof of which parts were used *extremely rude customer service including the owner. *told car was washed twice and picked it up and it was so dusty we could write our name on it visibly *and last but not least. 600 miles additional on our odometer when we picked up the car w NO explanation. read more

I damaged my bumper tailgate, and as a "do it yourself" guy I procured the tailgate and the bumper and all the little parts myself, needed someone reputable to paint my Baby, a 2013 Toyota Tacoma...they did a superb job ! THESE ARE YOUR PEOPLE!! Look no further. If I could give them 1000 stars I would! My car was hit by my neighbor while in my parking spot. I decided to look some places up on Google and then drove over to get an estimate. Rich greeted me as If I were family! Super friendly and kind. He stated that usually you need an appointment, but no worries he had time. He gave me the estimate and then I found out the insurance company works directly with them. Win for me. As soon as I got the claim number they reached out and helped me get set up for the repairs. Wendi is amazing also. She is so nice and easy to talk to. She arranged for me to drop off the car and even had enterprise there to pick me up to get my rental. I literally did nothing and had no concerns the entire time. It only took them 4 days to have my car ready and i had updates the entire time via text. Durning that time rich even called me to let me pick out my hubcaps. I was super impressed that he cared about what I wanted. Rich called me when my car was ready, I drove there and left the rental! They handled everything and made the process a breeze! Rich even helped me fix the child lock on my back passage door that hasn't worked since I bought the car! Talk about above an beyond! They offered me coffee and bagels. I have taken my 2002 SUV to Caliber Collision in Chandler in 2 separate incidents. Both repairs were excellent. We came across Caliber via our insurance company in the first incident. Costs were not much of the concern for me as it was covered by my insurance. Nevertheless, they did the job well in a reasonable time frame. Recently, my vehicle hit a post in a public lot. There was no second or third party involved and there was no damage to the post. However, I need a new front bumper. Based on my first experience with Caliber, I decided to let them do the work. I decided not to involve my insurance company. To my pleasant surprise, they were able to replace my bumper with a very reasonable cost and again they were able to deliver my vehicle within a reasonable timeframe. The job performed was excellent. It added a new life to my old SUV. Rich Zachman was my service advisor. He was a wonderful person to work with. I highly recommend this place for auto body works. read more

After my accident, my car was towed to a tow yard where Wendi went above and beyond to help me get it released. I talked with her every day for about a week (because we were having trouble getting my car out of the place it was at), she was so personable, kind and helpful!!! Friendly staff, quality work, great price! My girlfriend needed some minor work done on her Honda Civic rear bumper. After visiting 4-5 certified shops around the Chandler area we decided on Chandler Auto Body. One reason we chose them was the staff. Rick was straightforward, confident and friendly to work with. It's sad to say he was one of the few people who treated us with respect, without trying to pull anything over on us or belittle us for being younger. They also had the best prices around for performing quality work without taking shortcuts on the repair. When we picked up the car it was cleaned, repaired and backed in waiting for us. The work was flawless and we couldn't be happier. Overall great experience. There's a reason to support local business and you can definitely tell the difference compared to the big named competition. I wrote a review of this place over a year ago and now it's gone. So, here it is again. Be very careful taking your car here. My experience was not good. The owner is rude and caustic and does not value customers. My car was taken in for an accident in May of 2017 and it's September 2017 and I'm still waiting for one small part to be fixed---he has more excuses than I want to hear. They replaced a door and mirror--the mirror just fell off. They won't fix or replace it even though I was told their work had a lifetime guarantee. That was $500 I hadn't planned on paying for out of pocket. They painted the passenger door and left a a drippy-glop of paint. (I had another body shop fix it.) Their paint didn't match the rest of the car, so in certain light, the difference was glaring. They had an excuse for that too. I have no idea how this man stays in business. Beware. They promised my car would be done this week, then next week, then the next week. You get my point. Be careful. I would only use them for a quote if your insurance company required you gather several quotes. Good luck. You've been warned. If the owner reads this, I guarantee I'll never get my bumper tow plate painted and installed. Update on the tow plate: I had to nag them until I finally got it. (And by the way, they claimed they lost the first one; a new one had to be ordered---more delay.) When I went there to get it, the owner couldn't find it at first. That took a while and yep, the paint on the tow plate didn't match the bumper. When I picked up my car, the owner would not accept my debit card for the deductible. He said I needed cash or a cashier's check. Even though he ran my card and it was approved, he changed his mind, making it very difficult for me to finally get my car after more than six weeks in his shop. I believe he was being purposely punitive, just to prove he was in control. That is not good customer service. He pulled the same thing with the check from the insurance company. He wouldn't release the car until the check cleared the bank. Again, either being punitive or had very tight cash flow. Another delay in getting my car back. Life is way too good to put up with this unsavory temperament. I just read a few of the new 5-star reviews of this place. They're either fake or there's a new owner. BTW, the owner responded below. He is from left field. The guy can't be honest for a minute. read more

We brought our vehicle here after it was rear ended. This shop was chosen by the other driver's insurance. They did not do an in depth analysis of damage on the car. They replaced the rear bumper. Upon getting the car back the trunk was not working. They refused to fix it because they said issue was not caused by the accident. The trunk mechanism was working fine up until the accident, which would make any logical person assume that damage was done during the accident or during the bumper repair. The shop refuses to fix the trunk or take any ownership of the issue. read more

I knew they were incompetent from the very moment he looked at my car. Another shop scratched up my Tesla while applying paint protection film, and to fix it they wanted to take it here. Some doofus (the owner I think) came out front and told me that the scratches in parts of the paint were mold release lines. Nevermind the fact that they were jagged and inconsistent and clearly cut INTO the paint. Nevermind I had before photos where those scratches weren't there. He just kept doubling down though. He suggested they could be buffed out, even though the cuts went through the clear coat and into the paint. Anyone who knows anything about automotive knows that that's not going to work. If it's big and deep enough to catch your entire fingernail, it's not going to buff out. Long story short, he told me the scratches were too minor to fix (lol) and that he didn't be able to make it look any better than it does already. If that's the case, you guys shouldn't be in business. I came all the way down from Scottsdale after they'd given verbal assurance that they could do it. Not only were they incompetent, but they wasted my time as well. Enjoy your 1-star review, you deserve less. read more

I've come here twice now. First time the car was totaled, so I couldn't really rate their work. This time it was a "fender-bender", so I can. We have the car back already, and they seemed to have done a good job. It was really very minor, but in repairing the rear bumper they had to remove it and so also were able to verify that the structure underneath was not damaged. I came here because my insurance prefers them, but I would come here anyway. The only other shop I've found that I like is T&S, who also do a great job. Chandler is a bit closer to us, though, and as good as T&S. read more
