I took my car in to be repaired. My expected time was 5 days however it was fully completed in 2. Cody was awesome when keeping me in the loop every step of the way!! My car was ready right before closing on a Friday and he waited after hours for me to arrive so that my vehicle wouldn't have to sit over the weekend. Called and made an appointment two weeks out. Waited the two weeks and the day before the appointment, they called me (in the late afternoon) and cancelled saying they are short on techs. I've worked with this caliber once before and had no issues. This last time I took my truck in(2023) to get it fixed and the job done on my truck was terrible. I had to return 3+ times (one of which they ripped my gas line and left it, so when I pumped gas it would leak). To this day 6/1/24 my truck isn't fully fixed because they lost caps to my door handles. The person looking over my repairs was Lincoln Davis. Another LONG Read, but also needs to be said. I think the pattern of Chris, the General Manager of the Old Denton Rd. Store in Fort Worth, being a jerk to customers is a habitual thing. on July 14, 2021, I brought my van in to Caliber for an estimate from Cody (agent), and the plan was to take it home until I had verified with my insurance that it would be covered under uninsured motorist to cover the cost of a similar rental to my own vehicle. Well, Cody looked at the van, then went back to his office, leaving me sitting there for over an hour before the clerk at the desk asked why I was there. She had to go find Cody who told her to give me the message (like he couldn't tell me himself) that he had entered it in with my insurance and the rental needed t be picked up. Since I don't fit in the compact car that was waiting for me, the gentleman at the Enterprise counter found me a minivan and charged me the extra cost per day while waiting for my insurance to cover it. So, for the next three months, I was told by Chris that my agent, Cody, was out for an inexplainable amount of time , and he woulde be keeping me up to date on the completion. After telling me the 13th of October, he changed it to monday October 18. When I asked if it was done, I got no answer. Just a text on Wednesday the 20th telling me that if I didn't come get my car, they were charging me $30 per day storage. I called him and told him it would be Saturday, since he closes before I get there after work. He then told me that he says he charges the $30 per day to scare people in to calling him since I didn't answer the phone the ONE time he called me and I was teaching a class and couldn't answer. I got there this past Saturday, paid my deductible, and was eager to get in my car and go. The work done to my tailgate and door were great, but as I was loading things back into my van, we noticed that the two inner panels on my sliding doors had been torn off. Literally. One was still ripped and hanging, and the other had been shoved back on, blocking the door handle from working, so the door doesn't even open. I told the clerk that I would not be taking my van back with it like this. He asked if I sent it to them this way. UH, NO!!!!! So I left a message for Chris to call me on Monday when he got in. Since he didn't bother to call me, I called him at 5pm. He proceeded to tell me that there were break ins recently at his shop, then told me I had turned in that van that way. When I raised my voice to tell him that was bull and to look at tapes (assuming they looked back as far as the 3 1/2 months that they had it, they can see my doors were together, and worked. He then told me to Shut Up, let him talk, and if I yelled at him again, he was hanging up. So I let him talk his trash. He told me I had to come get the van and then they would investigate to see if they did the damamge. I tols him there was no way I was taking that car off of his lot until it was put back the exact way it was when I left it there. He then told me that my car was dirty inside, so since it looked like a homeless hobo lived in it, I must have wrecked the panels myself. My daughter plays select softball, so the back of my car is full of water bottles, cups, and chunks of dirt. So now I am a homeless hobo. I told him dirty interiors do not mean I rip up door panels. Chris then yelled at me telling me there was no way he was paying for three months of a rental car while he waited for a new panel to come in. Why not, it was fine that you took 3 1/2 months on Geico's dime for a rental van while you waited before. Maybe you should have just seen the panels you destroyed back then and ordered them with the other parts. So now, I have called corporate and my insurance company, Chris has my van, he has insulted me, he has called me a liar, and pretty much refused to repair the vandalism that was done while under his care. I WILL NEVER ATTEMPT TO GO HERE AGAIN AND WILL YELL IT TO ANYONE IN EAR SHOT. Chris gives this place a bad name and will continue to be it's demise until he gets people skills or another job......maybe working in a homeless hobo shelter. read more

Somebody backed into my car. Pulled forward and backed into my car again. It was a hit and run and I witnessed it. I ran after them taking 20 or so pictures all blurry and 1 clear shot of the license plate. My car was parked so the bumber took a couple of good hits. The other car was insured by Geico as was I. On the phone, Geico Claims pushed really hard to sell Caliber Collision as a one stop shop to fix, rent a car and get a warranty on the work. 1st of all if you show up to Cailber and get an estimate first, it will not match the estimate given to you by Geico Adjust who is onsite. That's if you can even get somebody ar Caliber to do an estimate. I highly recommend you take your car elsewhere to get an estimate before taking your car to any insurance claims adjuster. PRO TIP... the insurance adjuster wants to just cut you a check and hopefully you walk away and pocket it. WHY? They don't have to lay for a rental and most important they only estimate what's visible. He didnt check under the car nor did he pull off the bumper cover to do an estimate. These chain body shops are literally in bed with the insurance companies. Cut backs and rebates you name it. When something sounds to good to be true,.... you know it is. You can take your car anywhere you want. It's your car and it's your right. Buyers beware. So why the the 2 star? The bathrooms were clean, there was free coffee and popcorn LOL. read more

Worst auto body service ever! Start to finish they originally quoted me a half day labor but wound up keeping my brand new car for nearly a month. I kept getting these robotext from them saying it's just going to need to be buffed out and not hear from them for a few days with another delay/excuse. I cannot believe they are USAA accredited. On top of it they wanted me to resign all the paperwork that's done when you first bring your car in since they lost mine!!I wouldn't use/recommend them if they were the last body shop in Fort Worth. ****Update to the review. I was contacted within two hours of posting the review by the manger Archie. He addressed all my issues and immediately made amends. I have not experienced that level of dedication to customer satisfaction in decades. That company is lucky to have an employee that dedicated. read more

LONG READ but it needs to be said. I have never, as a customer, been treated so poorly or disrespected as badly as I was by Chris at this Caliber Collision location (Western Center/Old Denton Road). I prefer to use Caliber Collision because they stand behind their work and I had used this location before and finally ended up with the results that I wanted after having to take my car back to get something fixed they didn't do properly with the paint. I honestly believe the reason for this incident is because they considered my vehicle a small repair this time and it wasn't worth their time so they didn't want to do it. I spoke to Chris the morning of the day I was supposed to drop my car off.  He called me first thing because of an email I had sent the night before complaining about an 11th hour "sorry you can't drop your car tomorrow".  The corporate office had set up the appointment on the Monday prior to the Friday I was supposed to drop it off. The appointment was on the books for 4 days, yet they waited until 5:35 p.m. on Thursday night (they close at 5:30) to call me to tell me I could not drop my car off Friday morning as planned.  With me already having the rental car company scheduled to meet me there, this was not convenient for me along with the fact that at first we thought my car was drivable but I ended up causing more issues so I had stopped driving it and was having it towed.  He had called to explain why I couldn't drop it off, they were just too busy ( something you would think corporate would know before scheduling an appointment). And when I asked Chris about waiting until the eleventh hour to notify me, he said she stayed late on her time call you and let you know..... like I should feel privileged that she let me know at all and waited until I couldn't call them back. In a 15-minute conversation I would guess that he said "small repair" probably 15 times which is what has led me to believe that's why he didn't want to take care of my car. His reasoning for not wanting me to drop it off that day was that they wouldn't be able to get to anything over the weekend because there are no techs there over the weekend and I understand that, but in his explanation, he actually said he was fearful that HE would have to pay for my rental car for the weekend.... with me telling him all along that my rental car would be covered not to worry about it.  I know my insurance company and I know what they cover and what they don't. I understand they were probably too busy to get to my car but they need to let their corporate office know that and not let them schedule appointments for drop offs on Friday. Yes I will concede that Chris was probably reacting to my frustrations because I was extremely upset, but when you're in the customer service industry, you don't speak to people the way I was spoken to. The last thing I heard him say before I finally decided not to take it anymore was "I think you need to find another repair shop" and my reply was "I believe you're right" and I hung up the phone. So my insurance company got involved had the tow truck that had picked my car up change to a different location and the rental car company came to my house to pick me up.  Very Thankful for the Caliber Collision on Sonoma Creek in Alliance. THEY were kind enough to take my car on a Friday without fear that they were going to have to pay for the rental car. Also this "small repair" that Chris kept referring to ended up being upwards of $4,500. I will never even consider using this location again and if anybody mentions Caliber Collision to me I will be certain to tell them don't go to this location. read more

Will never bring anything to these people again. Was told that my service van would be done in 5 days, dropped it off Monday morning at 7:30 am. Didn't get it back until the following Tuesday at 11:00 am, had multiple conversations with them throughout the 9 days they had it and was never told anything about a deductible (van was damaged by someone running into me and it was being paid through their insurance company). My brackets for my puck locks on the side doors didn't line up anymore after they were done and instead of fixing it they decided to just force it closed where it almost wouldn't come back off. Bad customer service, bad communication, damage that was fixed looked fine but when they put it back together and something doesn't line up they should have fixed it. read more

I accidentally pulled my license plate frame out of my car with my garage door. I was so upset. I'm a widow and hate dealing with these issues. My son told me to bring it to a body shop and it shouldn't be too bad. I brought it here to Caliber for my first estimate. Lincoln looked at it and said it would be fixed in 10 minutes for free! I used Caliber Collision on North Beach/820 on my other car in April and they did a good job repairing it so when I needed my Jeep repaired last month I figured I'd use the Caliber Collision that's closer to my home. I was satisfied with the customer service in regards to the follow ups and text messages updating me on the status of my repairs. I had the front end repaired along with some damage on the passenger side front hood. After an initial quality issue with the repair the manager and advisor promptly offered to make things right and it now looks good as new. I set an appointment with the shop manager Chris to get the seats cleaned, but he left early that day and made no provisions with anybody left in the office to be able to assist me. Lincoln Davis was great the way he kept me abreast of the process of repairs and when my car would be completed. Also, I had a bumper that needed some touch up and they took care of that while it was in the shop. The body work looked wonderful and I feel like I have a new car. If there would be a minus star, they would get that! Brought my M5 BMW for bumper and door repair/ replacement and painting. First I was never contacted about the estimate, second it took them 2.5 weeks only after numerous phone calls from me to them. All kind of excuses, eventually I got the car back in following condition: dirty, severe over sprayed with clear coat ( windows, rims, doors, everywhere), Airbag sensor not reset, part of the initial damage NOT repaired, rear bumper with a gigantic dent in it, rear bumper installed with a big gap. Had to bring the car back next day, got rental car on their expense without paperwork!!!!???? When I got my M5 back only partial of mishaps had been solved. Still oversprayed and big swirls all over the paint. I NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. read more

I was provided with daily progress updates via text, and they had me back on the road in three days. My car was also cleaned thoroughly inside and out. Do not take your car here! They did more damage to the paint while it was there on parts of the car that needed no repair. They used what looked like duck tape on the paint which left a sticky residue on the hood and roof which after washing it several times still won't come off. The black door panels are now faded and gray, not sure how they messed those up. The car was not at all clean when I picked it up after they said they needed an extra day to detail it. Lies. It took much longer than they estimated to make th repairs. I can't believe Usaa recommends this place, it's a joke. I even changed insurance companies after my experience bc it was so terrible. I refuse to pay Usaa good money to send me to a repair shop that is so incompetent! read more

We have had 2 experiences here and neither were great. We were hit and needed repairs so we came here as they were referred by USAA. They gave us a quote and then asked me to call them and let them know if we would like them to do the repair and if so if we wanted USAA to send them the check directly or have it sent to me and then I could then pay them. I went about my day and never had time to get back to them, let alone talk to my husband about whether we wanted to use them or get another quote from someone else. In the meantime the guy we got the quote from called them and said we requested they send the check straight to Caliber!! This never happened. I never ok'd this!! Foolishly though, I went ahead and had them make the repairs. Within a month the paint had already started to bubble. Yes they offer a warranty but hello it was a month later!! a month! So now since apparently we have the worst luck ever some jack in the box hit the car at a gas station so we need to have it repaired again. We called to schedule an appointment, made it for today, put it on the calendar, took time off of work and went there and they have no record of the appointment. Like someone would just be like hey its Friday at 1:30 I think I'll go pretend I had an appointment when I don't. We spoke to a manager who could do nothing for us. They wanted to know if we knew the name of the person we made the appointment with...the name? No, we didn't friend each other on Facebook!! I was making an appointment. So now they want us to come back NEXT Thursday....so nearly an entire week from today because they couldn't squeeze in a 10 min quote. We 100% would go somewhere else but guess what? We're completely screwed because we still need to get their shoddy work finished from the first repair. Stay away from this place at all costs. read more

Terrible experience and will not use again. First they made me drive home my car with a broken seatbelt saying it working only some of the time was safe. Next our rental car has a hole in the tire even though the guy told me it was fixed. We were not kept up to date with what was going on with our car and always had to call multiple times because our calls were never returned. Everyday for a week we were told our car was going to be done but it never was. We had traded our car that was at the shop be fixed and when we went to empty the car being repaired out there was a panel still missing and they had installed a mismatching headlight. If we had not traded it in i would have never accepted it in that condition. Lastly we received a phone call from the manager trying to bribe a good review after our bad experience. Well he said he was going to mail us a gift card to try and remedy the poor service we received but we never received that either. read more

Dropped my vehicle off to get repaired and was directed to this location from my insurance company due to the short distance from my house. Normally I do refer to yelp reviews when I go somewhere new however, I had visited their other location 8 miles away from this one and had a great experience so I expected the service to be uniform. When I dropped my vehicle, I was provided a rental that was dirty. The representative told me that he was having it cleaned up but when he drove it up to me, explained that they don't have a car wash, just a hose, so that was the best they could do. It was covered with dead bugs and poorly wiped down. I did receive updates on the repair as days went by. Once we got the notification that the car was ready, the rental car company called and told me that I had to get the car back that day or they would start charging me. Luckily, my job is flexible and I was able to get it back but I just wonder if I happened to work at night, that would be pretty inconvenient! So, I get there to pick up my car and again, due to no car wash, it's all dirty. I would have least expected them to deliver a clean bar by either taking it to a nearby car wash or use another nearby location that has one. When I went in to turn in the rental, all they wanted was the payment for my deductible. Once they got that, they handed me the papers and said thank you. A representative went out to the car with me to inspect the repair but didn't say a word. He just watched me as I inspected the car. I asked a few questions but he wasn't very elaborate. So I just gave up and left. To my surprise, I turned my car on and my low tire light is one. So, I took it to a nearby tire shop to get looked at. There was a small nail and I was able to get it repaired. But the most disappointing part (once I got it on the highway) was that, I realized my alignment was off. I had just gotten an alignment a month before I took the car in for repair so I have no idea what they did to it. I'm so mad that now I'm out money for a repair that I didn't cause!! Never again will I use Caliber. I have used them three times in the past when they were at the West 7th store. So disappointed, 7 day repair took 40 days, thank God it was not my insurance paying -- I won't tell you how they tried to deliver my car, dreadful, filthy, damaged. Even after trying to make it right they still delivered the car with burned clear coat in large areas on a black car. They did try everything they could to make it right and they just don't have the staff that knows what they are doing and the work they are putting out. read more
