I had an absolutely terrible experience at Caliber Addison. Took ages to fix my car and then returned it to me twice broken. I ended up taking it to Caliber Collision in Castle Hills and worked with the manager Doug. He took control and investigated and fixed all the issues and things that were not addressed at the other location. Doug genuinely took concern and was incredibly thorough. I was referred to Caliber after someone hit my car while it was parked. They took it in after Labor Day. I was told by my insurance provider they would call and schedule me within a day. Caliber never reached out to me. I called multiple times and was put on hold. Eventually I received a text message with a contact link to get in queue for a live chat or call back. Chose callback once and never received a callback. Joined queue again to be kicked twice before reaching someone to setup an appointment. I received the car back the paint job looks great and they fixed everything from what I can tell. But they forgot to add a tire pressure monitor to the damaged tire. They took it back in and picked it up from my house a few days later than they originally told me they would. When I got my car back all my tires are at a different psi. After taking someone's car and fixing the psi I would hope a business does it's due diligence to ensure the car leaves better. And as someone who's family owns a Cummins' repair shop in another state I know that usually cars after a repair are returned with accurate psi on all tires. Kinda disappointed after the initial missing of the tire pressure monitor and getting pushed back for them to take my car in to return with different tire pressures.. seems lazy to me. Yes I appreciated them picking my car up and dropping off. (I live less than 5 minutes away). It's not so much about them picking up the car or offering to fill up my gas for the inconvenience of bring it back in. I just want the main job done completely. read more

Went through some issues with Raymond - but after Nationwide and I were told some "things" by Calaber Colision front office "guy - Raymond" the owner called my house and cell asking for explanation. The owner was SUPER, apologized & did everything he could to help. I never wanted RAYMOND fired - I just think his words were "Holy inappropriate". They had already moved my truck - to their key HUGE DAMAGE center of Harry Hines Boulevard - I had General Motors Repair Center pull the truck. GM repaired ALL the damage. The truck is fine. Raymond - I hold NO GRUDGE against & the location and manager should not have a one star - the owner worked everything out. I actually like this center and find the people very friendly. I just think Raymond said some discouraging / disingenuous things to me. That's not the fault of owner(s) or employees there. I close this - removing my old review and putting in 3 stars as owner cleared up everything. I'd still recommend this location - I just won't go. read more

Dishonest / Untrustworthy: I brought my car in and met with Kevin Hinojos (Service Advisor). I asked him for an estimate to repair damage to the front right side of my vehicle. The damage is clearly on both the fender, continuing onto the bumper (a contiguous section of about 20"). After a couple of days Kevin e-mailed me an estimate for the work, to which I replied my approval to move forward with the repairs. Upon inspecting the final work, it was obvious they only repaired the damage to the fender, and not the section of the bumper where the damage continued onto. When I asked why they did not complete the full repair, Kevin said the repair to the bumper was not included in the estimate (even though it states removing the bumper). When I spoke with the General Manager, Jay Richardson he said that I should have recognized that the estimate was only for a partial repair (not sure why) and that they could finish repairing the damage for an additional cost. Why would I ask for an estimate to repair only part of the damage? This is dishonest and false representation. DO NOT trust Caliber Collision - and certainly do not trust Kevin Hinojos or Jay Richardson. They have demonstrated not to be acting honestly. read more

my son had a parking lot accident and insurance towed his Kia Optima to Caliber. They did a free repair estimate informing us that the costs exceeded the value of the car. we were able to store our car on their premises for 6 days while deciding what to do. We decided to give the car for parts to our former medical assistant's husband as he has done well for us over the years. Caliber didn't have to do anything to help us, yet chose to do so at cost to themselves. I just wanted to say that they care about their customers and deserve your business. read more

I came here to get an estimate and I had an appointment for 8am and by 8:15 I was seen and taken out to assess the potential damage to my vehicle. The experience went pretty good, my only issue was it took a little to long for the guy to come out of the office with a summary of the work I needed to have done in my vehicle but overall I was pleased, everyone was friendly and made the whole process seamless. read more

This place has been opened about a year but I did not see this till now. I had an appointment here due to someone hitting my car and I needed to get an estimate so the insurance could write me a check for the damages. My appointment was at 730 am but I was unable to start the appointment till 8am. No one was here when I came but when I tried to check in, the lady at the front said I needed to wait for the other lady to check in. The other lady showed up around 745am and had me fill out some forms and I waited till my estimator came. It was a pretty simple process. The guy came out, looked at my car, took some pictures in and out of my car, got me some documents and stuff written out and it was done. The wait time was a bit but it was not too bad especially since they had coffee and a T.V. They also have a little popcorn machine with all these cool flavors but I did not get to try it because they did not have any made. It was early when I came so I didn't expect them to have that. Overall it was not a bad experience and the place is very clean and new. Everyone is fairly friendly and knows what to do for thier job. read more

I highly recommend the team at this location. Jason is super friendly, professional and follows through with what he says he's going to do. He also does a fantastic job of keeping you updated in the process of what's going on with your vehicle. The ladies at the front (Natalie & Marjory) are also friendly and super helpful as well. My suv was rear - ended and after completion of service looked great and back to normal. I've recently been back as there had seemed to be a computer related issue due to the wreck (where in the end was not due to the wreck) but they helped me figure out what was going on with my car and there were no questions asked as to why I was back - the lifetime warranty is legit and they are happy to help! read more

This was the second time I took my car here for body work. I was a repeat customer (unfortunately) the girls at reception desk were very friendly. I did not have rental coverage on my insurance and they were so helpful by scheduling me after the parts were in. Got a call when they were in. Jason was so awesome. I got a time frame of how long of 3 to 4 days. But after the adjuster told me time frame and I mentioned it to Jason he was real to me and said for me to just plan a few more days because once they started tearing Car down they could find other issues. Perfect since no rental and I had to plan ahead. Dropped car off and sure enough there was more damage that could not be seen initially. Was just so glad he set expectation upfront. So new date was set to pick it up and jason called (kept us in the loop the entire time) told us he was not happy with the paint and he wanted it to be perfect. We thought we would have to wait another day but then he called back at 8 pm that night to let us know the painter would come in early next morning for us to pick it up by eight as we had planned. Apparently the person that was working on it came in at 5am to make sure it was ready for me at 8 am. Thank u so much whoever you are Looked great! I would rather it be done right and wait one more day then to show up and be ticked off! Great people there. Everyone I came in contact with. the person that side swiped me had geico and the geico person here was great and they made it quick and easy! almost made me want to switch my car insurance to geico. the caliber guys were awesome too got everything done really quick even painted in a small chip that wasn't part of the accident for free. I took my truck to Caliber Collision after reading all the great reviews. I was rear ended, so it was a bumper replacement. I wished I had a better experience, but that was not the case this time. I dropped my truck off and I waited a week to hear a response from the representative from Caliber Collision, but I never heard anything. I would be the one who had to call to find out the status of what was going on with my truck. When I called after a week, I was told that they have contacted the insurance and were waiting to hear a response from the insurance to discuss supplemental damages. Another week passed by and I called Caliber Collision just to hear the same response (still waiting on the insurance to call back to discuss supplemental damages). So I decided to call the insurance and see why are they haven't called back Caliber Collision. The insurance said that no one from Caliber Collision has called. That's when I emailed my insurance representative and emailed the representative at Caliber Collision together to see what was going on. I find out the representative was calling and emailing the wrong person even though the insurance contact name and number is on the documents I handed to the rep at Caliber Collision. So two weeks wasted because they were contacting the wrong person. Now, the insurance company and Caliber Collision rep are moving forward with the supplemental charges and all is approved. I was told on Friday Nov. 15th that I would have my truck back by next week. I called Caliber Collision on Thursday because I never received a call stating my truck was ready, but when I called I was told the truck will be ready by Nov. 26th. I called them on the 26th just to find out the truck is still not ready. At least I was given a rental car, so I do give Caliber Collision kudos for helping me get a rental car before Thanksgiving! I finally get the call on Dec 2nd (a little after 4pm) that my truck is ready, so I would pick it up the next day. When I picked up my truck, I noticed the driver side door handle was hanging by the door lock rod. The door handle was loose when I dropped it off, but not hanging by the locking rod. I spoke with the representative at Caliber Collision and he was going to see if his manager will approve the repair. That was 9 days ago and I still haven't heard back from them. read more

The person assigned to me was late every time so it was like pulling teeth for the receptionist to get someone else to help.
