Someone hit my car in the parking lot where I work, doing a major amount of damage to my vehicle. As no one left a note, my own insurance company sent me to Caliber Collision. From start to finish, the customer service was fantastic. My repairs were handled by Baldomar, who explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and was friendly and professional. While my car was in the shop Baldomar kept in constant contact with me either by text or phone to let me know the progress of the repairs. On top of that, my repairs were done well before the promised date, saving me a lot of money on my repair car (we didn't have rental coverage on our insurance policy which I am now going to change!) My car looks new. Baldomar and his team did such a great job. I hope I don't have to go to Caliber Collision in the future because that means something happened to my car, but I highly recommend this repair shop and especially Baldomar to anyone who needs body repair their car. Originally posted 12/13: WARNING POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO SHOP AROUND WITH BETTER BODY SHOPS. Ultimately, they were able to address most (not all of my issues) - plus caused another issue that I'll have to pay out of my pocket due to their negligence. I've unsure if this was done inadvertently or if it's for potential retaliation due to having to correct other issues caused in their possession - but I take meticulous care of all my vehicles. Take a look at my other reviews, and you'll notice that I've had a lot of vehicles (as some of the reviews are with dealerships and repair shops). In this case, post repair Caliber corrected 4/5 of the problems they caused; the only one they said they did (but verified didn't do) is cleaning of the interior. I don't care about the detailing part, but they could've got a rag and just wiped the interior down. It seems when they repaired the outside, they left the doors/windows opened and all of the work dust caked all over the interior. But in addition to that, on the second time they delivered the vehicle to me, they nicked the tint film on my driver's side window. I paid $600 a few months ago to get my car tinted, and because this is not covered under warranty (plus looks like an eyesore), it's going to cost me around $150 to get it one window replaced. With the dusty interior, both my wife & son got sick after riding around in it one day, when all is said I will not trust Caliber with any of my vehicles again. The staff at Caliber Collision in Mission Viejo is very unorganized, unprofessional and dishonest. This location will waste your time and make excuses not to repair your vehicle. Autobody repair is a business, either take responsibility to accept the repair assignment or decline it immediately but do not accept a vehicle and then change your mind. I set an appointment to drop my vehicle off on Wednesday with Daniel Prendergast, and scheduled a rental car. The very next day, I was told that my vehicle could not be repaired because "Lifetime Warranty" would not be applied to my vehicle. This is unacceptable customer service. They had all the preliminary estimates and checked in my vehicle and if there were any issues then it should have been addressed immediately. I have dropped off my vehicle at 2 separate Caliber Collisions and spoke with Eberlin Roman (Caliber - Costa mesa) and Daniel Prendergast (Caliber - Mission Viejo) and neither location informed of any complications. I called prior to dropping off my vehicle to confirm that this location works with Mercury Auto insurance. Shop did a good job fixing our Lexus back in April. My biggest complaint is that I requested an OEM bumper cover both verbally & on the authorization to do the work. When I got the car back, I noticed on the receipt that a non-OEM bumper cover was used. Was told that is because I don't have a OEM endorsement on my car insurance policy. Fine, but why not tell me that on one of the 5 daily calls from my service rep (Bademar Guzman) Easy to do & prevent frustration on my part! The fact is, there is only $100 difference between an OEM bumper cover & the non-OEM one, which I would have been happy to pay. Non-OEM Bumper cover does not fit perfectly. Worst experience ever, but I'm just writing my review now because of my SUV being repaired at another shop after being picked up from Caliber Collision- mission viejo. Took my brand new SUV Cadillac Escalade that was hit while parked and they did the worst job ever, once he called the my SUV was ready I went to pick it up and it was raining so I couldn't really see anything i could see my bumper and tail light repaired but no details. Until several days later we noticed paint coating running down the side of the bumper, called Greg he said it's an easy fix call your insurance and say there is a re-do they will set up a rental for you then drop it off again. So I did Never did I think this is not my insurance fault this is the shop re-do there mistake not my insurance why should State Farm pay for my rent? Once it was ready again it's raining I pick it up took it home 4 days later I take it in for my first oil change to the dealership, service advisor tells me has your SUV been in an accident i said yes why ? Because it's indicating here that your bumper is shifted to the left it's not centered and there's gaps between the side fenders and bumper and tailgate. Very interesting once my oil change was completed I decided to call my insurance not the body shop I was done with there bull shit, still remember now he told me we put a big bracket to hold it tighter, so now that means bumper wax never removed they pushed it in and went in through the side and put a big bracket to hold the bumper installed the tail light and painted the bumper. Well job was done wrong. Immediately an insurance appraiser came to my home and he looked under my SUV he right away noticed my bumper was shifting to the left he saw the paint coating still running down my side bumper and he noticed my bumper was never removed due to the screw still looked new and not been touched. Gave me a list of shops to call, nobody wanted to take over the job of caliber - finally found a shop that was willing to take the job and they not only did a great job they called my text me with pictures and progress and with bumper off showed me the same old bracket that where never replaced, they kept me updated. They found my gas pump insert was cracked it had to be replaced which you and I never noticed. So please people before you decide to take vehicle here do your homework make sure your vehicle is properly repaired. I don't recommend this shop at all. Amazing service! They tend to have you work with one guy the entire time. The rep that worked closely with my car is Taylor. He is very professional, prompt, and a provides clear itemized list of for the bill. Definitely not cheap! Unfortunately I was in an accident, fortunately I was able to walk away and the other insured driver has been at fault. Nothing out of pocket for me. It adds a sigh of relief not to pay a deductible. My two doors on the left side of my Scion xB both drivers door and passenger door was damaged. It took a few days to fixed. They worked closely with AAA and Enterprise that I was also picked up by Enterprise and given a car to use while my car was being repaired. One of the best part of having my car back was how clean it came back to me. I was not expecting them to clean my car! It was almost like I got a detailed cleaning on my car! Seriously!!! WoWsers!!!! Waiting room/lobby here has free coffee and popcorn. And they don't mess with their coffee. It's pretty strong. The front desk reps were always friendly. Definitely a place I would go to after an accident. Just the two doors to be fixed cost about $1,300. After a traumatic event, this place made up for it for their customer service, repair, and how clean I got my car back! read more

**UPDATE 10/26/2018** So it has been 4 months since my repair. On 10/15/2018 socal got hit with really heavy rain, and I come to find that my right passenger side aftermarket tailights filled up with water. (My left driver side was a factory oem unit, so quality with no leaks). Definitely a bad unit. I emailed Taylor same day. He responded right away and researched high and low to find me a replacement OEM factory unit to make sure we don't have this issue again. Unfortunately he came up empty. Mitsubishi discontinued production of the US market tailights. Taylor then asked for my opinion (which I greatly valued) and I sent him a link to factory Mitsubishi Japanese Market versions but they only came in a set. I only needed the right passenger. But they looked different. Taylor immediately got with his manager to approve the warranty on BOTH taillights and ordered me a brand new complete set. Today is 10/26/2018 and in less than 10 days he got me back on the raod. I cannot say enough great things about Taylor and this Caliber Collision team at this location. Their team is extremely trustworthy and 200% stand by their work and their promise to deliver the best service, even AFTER the initial work is done. I am truly impressed.
