Above average work with very poor customer service. We brought our car back a few months after a repair. The dealer diagnosed a small crack in our taillight, that was letting in enough water to trigger a fault. The water was visible in the taillight, but took some time to accumulate enough to trigger the fault. They said the assembly should have been replaced during the previous repair. We went back to Caliber and our original estimator (Eric) said he would submit it to our insurance for an adjustment and would call us when they told him if it was approved. We waited two weeks and then called Eric. He told us Geico had not responded to his request and he would contact them, again, and get back to us "within a few days". After another week, we stopped at Caliber to speak to Eric and to give him our contact information provided by the Geico adjuster for our original claim. He said they were not responding to emails and phone calls. The name we had matched the contact information he had been using and he wrote down the additional phone number we had. We waited an additional four days and then called our Geico adjuster directly. She informed us she had approved the adjustment "more than a month ago, the day Eric first contacted" her. She also assured us she would follow up with Caliber to find out what the delay was and to ask Eric to order the part and to call us. We waited two more days and called Caliber. Eric was not available to talk but had the receptionist tell us "Geico finally approved the repair and he will call us when the part is in - 3 to 5 days to make an appointment. " Our Geico adjuster spoke with Eric and he told her the part had been ordered more than a month ago, but there was a supply problem and that he had told us several times he was still waiting for the part. After nine more days of waiting, we called Caliber again. Eric was at lunch, but the Receptionist located the part and made an appointment the same day to have it installed. Eric came out with the original part and implied the repair was not their responsibility, but they did it anyhow, just as a matter of good customer service. He showed me the original taillight and said he couldn't see any crack, only scratches, so the original part was fine, but he "went ahead and replaced it at no cost". He immediately excused himself because "someone is waiting on" him. The Receptionist is very, very good. I watched her during my multiple waiting room visits as she covered and coordinated around Eric. When he didn't respond to radio calls, she was careful to give him enough information so he could decide if he was "too busy" or if he would respond in-person. Our actual repair was great. The technicians are obviously good at their jobs, but they would probably have more work if the customer-facing Team was more professional. read more

I had a pill bottle and I found some pills floating out of the container and the pill bottle without the cap just thrown around in my trunk. I picked up my vehicle and was less than a mile from their shop when my daughter and I noticed a chip on my windshield that appears to have been improperly repaired. There is a visible resin repair circle around the chip, with a resin trail extending from the chip, and a rough spot on the chipped glass that can be felt by touch. I immediately turned around and headed back to the shop. The manager confronted me in a hostile and disrespectful manner, telling me that I did not know my own car and instructing me to "learn my car". He raised his voice at me in front of my child, creating a highly intimidating and unprofessional environment. He claimed to have many years of experience and asserted that they didnt cause the chip or attempt the repair. He accused me of having an anger problem and continued to bully me in front of my child, insisting that I had no way to prove the damage was caused by their shop. During the encounter, the manager had an employee take pictures from outside the windshield where the chip was not visible due to the shaded parking lot. The chip is most visible from the driver's seat, and this approach appeared designed to obscure evidence. He attempted to deny responsibility and dismissed my claims without a fair inspection or proper documentation. He asserted alternative explanations such as window tint bubbling or dirt, despite the unmistakable evidence of a resin repair around the chip and a resin trail. It was apparent that because I am a woman I had no knowledge of vehicles, glass, or windshields which seemed to further enrage him when I challenged his poor explanation to pass off damage they caused. This is not an isolated incident for me; I have experienced two previous negative encounters with this location. The first involved a minor bumper damage repair event, followed by an unpleasant experience and the discovery of a dead mouse in my vehicle upon pickup, leaving an awful smell and costing me 100's to have professionally detailed. They denied responsibility of that as well. The second incident occurred after hood repair, after which I found acrylic paint on leather seats and dashboard control buttons and a non-functional headlight, uneven paint repair, necessitating a second repair and resulting in additional downtime and rental costs. Taken together, these prior experiences contribute to a pattern of unsatisfactory service, improper handling of vehicles, and insufficient quality control. I have pictures time stamped a few days prior to dropping my vehicle off at Caliber Collision proving the chip and poor attempt to conceal the damage were done while the vehicle was in their possession. I also have pictures of the damaged windshield after picking it up as well as bubbles and chips in my paint from the poor paint job they did. Thomas Frazier(Manager) and Fernando Figueroa(Service Advisor) are the two employees I had the disadvantage of working with. It is apparent in reading any and all reviews from Google, Yelp, BBB, and their own website that they consistently cause damage to vehicles and take no responsibility their after to make it right read more

My dad had a car accident and his insurance company gave him this place as an option. The Robert L was great with my dad initially, until we picked up the SUV. We kept noticing small things here and there, he had to fix last minute. Robert became frustrated and short fused, reminded me of how a used car sales guy gets when you tell him this is not a good enough deal. He even turned color, while trying to keep his cool. My dad has now been back 3 times and this last time they didnt want to fix his issue. Robert swore up and down about customer service and we will fix whatever is wrong. I guess common sense wasn't included in the package. Save time and money spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that can keep their word and do a better job. Went in for an estimate backed by AAA they took pictures wrote the estimate set me up for a drop off date two weeks out. Took my vehicle in for the repair process to begin they confirmed the drop off date an estimated came out and started writing an estimate I told him that was all ready done. He was the senior estimator he told each that they had no record of me being there although AAA had approved the work to be done. Final words to me were we have to start over another waiting period. The lady at the front desk is not professional at all. Rude and disrespectful. Came in for a quote. Adjuster gave me an estimate on paper. Went back there last week with the responsible party's insurance information and the receptionist told me that I would need another estimate because the quote given to me was for cash payment. I was quite confused, because what difference does it make? We have been customers of Caliber for quite some time, and I am disappointed at how unprofessional this particular location conducts business. I am utterly shocked by the amount of positive reviews and am left left wondering how closely others have looked at their vehicles... We took our car to this location after their Riverside location failed to do a proper repair when given two separate attempts. The employee helping us noted all of our concerns from Riverside's work and said it was just a sloppy job due to laziness. He assured me that they would be able to fix it. The Moreno Valley location was equally disappointing. Upon picking up my vehicle the first time- I saw that there was still a chip in the paint. The guy told me that they did not repair this because it would require them to take off the piece and then blend it and instead they just sealed it. I was not okay with this. I felt they needed to do what it takes to get the job done. I left car, giving them a second attempt to get it right. When picking up my car for the second time- it appeared to be okay. But wishing a few days the paint started crinkling and completely chipped off on my bumper because the bumper was fastened too tight and the bumper was probably reinstalled before the paint had an adequate amount of time to dry. I was beyond disappointed with the work. After taking my car to two different locations and giving both location two separate attempts to get it right- I was then placed in contact with Mr. Wilson who oversees these stores. He said he was embarrassed by the work that was done. We then trusted our car in his hands and it still wasn't done correctly. End result, we took our car to Ben Clymer and they did a phenomenal job but also showed us that along the way, one of the Calliber Collision Centers allowed DIRT to mix in with our paint when blending it into the door. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! Calliber ultimately caused more damage to my car and I will NEVER take a car back to them. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I took my nissan to this repair center after an accident. My car was inoperable so it was towed to this location. Jacob was my advisor. They took apart my vehicle and advised me of the repairs and I gave the green light to fix EVERYTHING. There was previous damage to my vehicle not caused by the accident that I wanted to also have repaired. I spoke to Jacob and he told me what the price would be to have the additional parts repaired. You would think since my car was already there being worked on there would have been a slight discount, but nope. It was the normal $3700 just to have the driver side door fixed. Anyways Jacob kept me updated about the progress of the repairs and when I everything should be completed. After 3 weeks my car was back to me on the expected due date. This is where the real problem begins. When Jacob handed me my car keys I proceeded to drive off the lot and my car did a jerking movement. I thought this was due to the car not being driven in 3 weeks so I drove around in the vicinity. My car didn't seem right but I drove it home anyway. I continued to drive the car and it still had the "pulling" in the back of the vehicle (where the accident was). Later that day the ABS and traction light came on. But I continued to drive the vehicle. When I reversed, the car was shaking uncontrollably that my 7 year old noticed and asked "what was wrong with our car." So I took the vehicle to the dealer for a diagnostic. The dealer told me 3 of my tires were turned inside out. The low control on the right rear side was bent (POINT OF IMPACT FROM ACCIDENT). My right rear brake light wiring was not put together (which I would have never known UNTIL the police pulled me over and probably give me a fix it ticket). There was some piece of metal one of my tires and my brake switch was old. HOW IN THE HELL COULD CALIBER COLLISION MISS THE LOW CONTROL BEING BENT? This is very dangerous!!! I'm grateful nothing happened to my family. But this place would never get my business or recommendations from me. They can't even connect wiring or put tires on correctly. read more

I called them about my issue and the girl that answered was rude and dismissive. Being that I now live in Moreno Valley, I decided to go to my local Caliber to have them look at my issue. Jonathan looked at my issue and said, "he would call me in 2 hours. That was Thursday, 6/16. No return call, so I called on Fri. 6/17 and spoke to Jonathan who said he would call back after speaking to his manager. No return call. I called again and left a message with receptionist. Now it's Monday. Still no return call. I'm very disappointed with both locations. Their customer service is awful now. read more

However you must be thinking your crazy for even bringing your car back here after the first bad experience. Robert was assigned to my car and he did a great job of taking care of everything. From the moment when I brought in the car to when I drove it off the lot. First he explained the whole estimate process and how paint interacts with different material (metal vs plastic). Then he explained how they would estimate what would need to be placed and how the breakdown of the car works. He was very detailed which was awesome. The car was to be completed Friday but I don't think parts came in on time so it got delayed to either "Monday or Tuesday." I called today (Monday), and was told it'll be ready by 4/4:30. Called them and got delayed again but this time because THEY weren't satisfied with the wash and polish so was told one more hour. I arrived around 5:15 and my car was ready 10 mins later. She looked brand spanking new! The shine on the car was better than when I first took it off the lot from the dealership. My front bumper looks great and can't even tell it was redone. I also requested that they don't redrill my front plate into the new bumper, which they complied with. Also, upon replacing the front lip on the bumper, Robert also gave me the old one because the damage was minimal. Now I'll use this extra piece to wrap in carbon fiber. I had no issues with anything done with the car as the quality of the work was A+. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs body work and I would ask for Robert as your rep. read more

Not a good place to repair your vehicle at. my suv was rear ended a couple of years ago. This location was the option given to me and since it was near home we decided to take our car here. They took longer than expected because they couldn't match the paint. They literally tried to paint it about 4-5 times unsuccessfully. They finally had an "expert" come and paint it correctly. Once in a while I could hear a noice coming from the back but had no idea what it was. When I would lean on the rear bumper while getting things out of my trunk I could hear something as we'll but I couldn't identify what it was. Recently my car was once again rear ended and it turns out that the bumper was only being held in place by a couple of pins. That explains all the noice. I don't recommend this place at all. read more
