After my accident I was honestly so stressed because I had only gotten my car 2 months before and the whole front end was really bad. DON'T SEND PARTS TO THIS SHOP!!! WASTE OF TIME!!! Our experience with this Gerber Auto Body location was very disappointing and resulted in a complete waste of our time and resources. They ordered a part from us, and before delivery we called that same morning to confirm the order and verify that we were bringing the part. The part was exactly as requested and in excellent condition. When we arrived, they informed us they could not complete the purchase because they would not provide a seller's permit/resale certificate and did not have payment available. We explained that, as with many other Gerber Auto Body locations we work with, they could request a corporate check and have it mailed to us. While this process usually takes a long time, we were still willing to accommodate them and proceed with the sale. Despite our willingness to work with them, they refused to move forward with the transaction, forcing us to take the part back. This situation could have been avoided with proper communication and preparation. We invested valuable time, labor, fuel, and resources to fulfill an order that had already been confirmed. We expect a higher level of professionalism and coordination from a business placing orders with vendors. read more

There wasn't and accident with another vehicle. Our accident was actually with a large piece of metal on the west exit at Day st. off ramp that tore up our front bumper. I came here at the recommendation of our insurance company and I regret giving them our business. We brought our car to get repaired, which it was, with some issues. We explained the issues to the person helping us and he said it would be submitted again to his boss and insurance. We've repeatedly called and have yet to resolve the issue with management. I was Rear ended pretty badly on the 91, turned my day into a nightmare, but Gerber collision had my back! More specifically, I want to give a HUGE shout out to Veronica, Elbert, and Steve! Amazing customer service, communicative from start to finish, my insurance ran out of rental days, but they were so willing to make sure I was taken care of, they put me in a rental while my car was being worked because of a delay and because of them I was able to make my best friends wedding! My car looks just as good as it did when i drove it off the lot, can you even tell that it was in an accident! LOL! Took my 2018 honda civic to get repaired for minor damage to the front bumper and hood. first day i took my car they were fairly respectfully and i thought my car would be in good hands. second day i went was to drop off my car for the repair process to begin. please note my car is a salvaged title meaning it was previously crashed AND REPAIRED prior to my second accident, which i let them know on DAY ONE, ANY competent person working with cars should know this, unfortunately the incompetent idiot that was working on my car (his name is GEORGE btw try and avoid him) didn't care to check this information. After taking my car APART to where it's no longer drivable, Curious George called me saying that they can no longer fix my car because it was previously worked on by someone else, and went on claiming that there was ADDITIONAL damage to the car the second time i brought it and that the damage wasn't in the pictures he took on day one, which is a lie and i have the picture THEY took to prove it. 1st claimed that the damage to the top left and right of my front hood was not in the first picture (which it very much was) 2nd claim was that my headlights had been switched out and they looked different in the pictures (my left headlight was scratched in the accident, still has the same scratch) i was literally speechless that they couldn't bother to do the bare minimum their job required, and on top of that they want me to pay out of pocket for a tow i do not want to take it to a new shop where that mechanic is expected to take liability for dumb ass george's mistakes. i told george word for word that the same condition i gave him the car is the same condition i want it back, but he's crazy and difficult to work with. called friday because they won't stop annoying for a new shop to move my car, after giving them the shop address and having the mechanic stay late waiting for my car to arrive they never drop it off. Went again monday morning to talk to a manager, they had claimed i signed papers saying they can take my car apart, and refuse to fix or put the parts back on do to it's being previously repaired, which was another lie, asked multiple times to show me where that was said and the managers response was "we can get lawyers involved and take this to court but it's against our policy". against policy my ass, their just money hungry and incompetent. ill include a picture of my car SECONDS after my accident to show how minor the crash was and continue by adding pictures they took and the condition their giving me my car back. whole situation was not only unethical but they handled it completely unprofessionally, mistakes happen and that's understandable, but to put YOUR mistakes on a customer is horrendous. read more

Very disappointed and frustrated with the service follow up by the manager of Gerber. Unable to get any cooperation with the repairs needed on our Chrysler. It has been several months of leaving messages with no action taken on Gerber's part. Hopefully after contacting our insurance they will intervene and we'll finally have an appointment and a car rental so that Gerber will follow up with completion of repairs. I'm hopeful but not very optimistic. read more

I am usually at work, so he worked directly with my wife and she has been giving a lot of compliments about how professional, kind, and honest Matthew is. He makes sure to give us updates regularly regarding the status of the car repair. When the car was picked up, we were amazed as to the quality of the repair, it looks flawless! Mr. Matthew McClain was true to his word that he and the team will ensure that we will be highly satisfied with the repair. And, he did not disappoint. And a bonus is the lifetime warranty on all repairs that they perfomed! The value for the price paid is truly remarkable. Beatrice last reviewed on our Chysler 300 collision repairing since August 2021 and can not have my auto completed and given the run around since October of 2021. Car in for repair again for 11 days and told my times it was by repaired and ready to go as of last Friday August 12, 2022. Went to pick it up and still was not completed as promised. I was sent home with my car and told they would call when parts were in. I was told parts were there and that's why why my vehicle was there for those 11 days. I had to look around to see if I was on camera for Americas Funnies Videos. I would like to speak directly to Jessica Delagarza customer care manager. My initial visit was amazing and everyone was super helpful. My service happened back in march. When I went to the front desk I was asked by Veronica her self to show the deductible was paid and I did. The process started and everything was good. I now have a voicemail from veronica stating that Geico is not paying the fee saying that we are responsible. She left a message which I attached here saying basically if we don't pay up we are going to be sent to collections. Then when we call her she said we have till Monday! Wtf we barely just found out and your acting as if it was our fault that you didn't do YOUR JOB correctly. It's unacceptable to have this behavior when I did my part when you failed at yours. And Mike, you tore all the good feelings I had for your business to hell by throwing what seemed like one of Trumps low down dirty deeds when you asked me to pay my deductible of $100.00 up front as soon as you saw I was a different brown than you. Something I later learned from your staff that is never done. All deductibles are paid after the work is complete. When I didn't pay it, you delayed my car repair 7 or 8 days when it could have been done the first day I brought it in. Corrin was such an amazing help with me today. I came in because I had a scratch that ran down the entire side of my car, apon arrival she (corrin) noticed that the scratch wasn't deep enough to cause any real damage to the car, she offered to take the car into the back and work the scratch out, and it came out perfectly and looks brand new!!!!
