George Carsella handled my account and was such a delight. He is clearly very skilled and the added bonus is that he is really hilarious. My car was fixed in two days, which was impressive. A nightmare! I took the car back after a long delay. After days I heard clang-clang noise and saw the leakage. On the next day there is a warning message of low coolant. When I opened the hood I saw two things. One is half of the coolant is gone. The second is that the radiator hose is scratched so seriously that there is leakage. And in the external ring of the fan there is rubber dust. The root cause is that the hose should be in the buckle which is on the fan but IT IS NOT! All what I heard and saw make sense. The hose hanging there hit by the fan. That is why I heard noise! Caliber forgot to put it back on the buckle!!! Just a simple and silly mistake! Even worse,.... Been there twice, first to explore an insurance claim. The adjuster very professionally explained what happened to my screwed up front bumper, then just wiggled it into place and bolted it right in front of me. No charge. Second time to ask a question about a simple repair that a dealership wanted $300 even to look at and see if they had a part. Cindy, the friendly manager of the day (they are all friendly there), said she'd take it around back to see if there was something quick they could do. 5 minutes, done. No charge. I keep waiting for something to happen that I can pay them to fix, that I can review. Nice clean place inside, refreshments, etc. read more

Brought my Prius to Caliber after my son - a new driver - hit a post and ripped off the passenger side mirror and a big dent and yellow paint. They provided a good quote and timeline which they held to. They gave me a ride to the rental car company and then let me drop of the rental car at Caliber when I picked up the Prius. The paint matches perfectly and I'm really happy with the job they did. They also kept me informed during the week about how the repairs were progressing via text. Our 1996 Mercedes E320 was bare metal on the roof and weathered paint on the hood and tops of the front fenders. Caliber Collision in Mountain View did an awesome job. Those parts of the car now look showroom-new and Caliber was less expensive than all of the bids from other shops. I don't usually write reviews but my experience with Raul at Caliber was outstanding. Raul surprised me by also polishing the yellowed headlights and turn indicators so that they, too, look new. A hit and run driver ran into my brand new parked Mercedes causing $2k worth of damage. The entire driver's side was dented in with white paint all over it. CC was recommended by USAA, my insurance company. The two worked seamlessly together and the estimate, appointments, repairs were all done very efficiently and effortlessly. They were very professional with an accommodating and friendly manner. The appointments were on time and done in a completely timely , well, time. The work was completed in a short time and the fender matched perfectly, as good as, maybe better, than the original. I don't see where their service or work could be improve at any level. I would recommend them highly and also USAA which accepted and covered the cost of their estimate without question. USAA assisted and coordinate everything in a most helpful manner and even friendly manner without any hesitation. I could not have asked for more from USAA Insurance. I brought my Miata here for an estimate after it had been hit in a residential area. Mike told me that they'd be happy to make the fix, but that the previous respray the car had had, was of lower quality. He said they would not be able to match the paint perfectly, and went on to suggest some other local shops that might have the same color that was previously on the car. This was huge to me, that someone who had just met me, would care enough to suggest another option to get the best results for my car. I decided to go with them anyways. Brought my car in on a Tuesday night, and had it back by Friday. When I was on my way to pick up the car, I was running a little late (after closing time). I called Mike and told him I would be a bit late, and without me even asking, he said he would stay till' I arrived. When I got there, the 25 year old car looked almost new! Perfect match! I was in a fender bender, and needed to get my bumper repaired. My insurance company gave me a dozen repair shops to pick from, and I opted for the closest--Caliber Collision on E. Evelyn Ave. Am I glad I did! From start to finish, Mike was amazing! He looked everything over, initially recommended just buffing it out (the visible damage was mostly scuff and paint), but when I asked why there was a (tiny) gap between the bumper and the panel, he LISTENED to me. [Unfortunately, there have been too many car-related times in my life when that wasn't the case.] He looked again, didn't see anything, but agreed it should be checked out. When I brought my car back for repairs, he double checked with me on what we had agreed, made sure I had a rental, kept me well informed by text and phone calls as to the status of the car, made sure the repairs were completed on time...it was a wonderful, smooth experience.
