I received repair estimates from two other body repair companies. This was the first time that I had the pleasure of meeting you and the first time that I had been to your company. I was impressed with your friendly and businesslike manner, and in your thorough analysis of the damage to my car, and in your complete and prompt write up of the repair estimate within 30 minutes after you inspected the damage to my car. When I first entered your company office I was immediately impressed by the orderliness and cleanliness of your reception entry and waiting room. I was further impressed by the polite businesslike manner of your receptionist secretary, Angelina, who greeted me with a warm smile and friendly businesslike attitude. When we met I watched you as you made every effort required to accurately compile my repair estimate for me and for my insurance company. Your accurate completion of my repair estimate was greatly appreciated because your company was the first company that I felt could professionally repair my car to restore the quality standard that I expected, that the car manufacturer required, and that I was searching for. The saga, in as few words as possible. Brand new, 2011 X5 50i was hit by a sheet rock panel that flew out of a pick up truck while driving East bound on 237. Front end got damaged, with a bent hood, scratches on the bumper and right fender, chipped right headlight. Estimate for repair came in at approximately $5700. After leaving the car, I was told that it would take approximately two weeks to fix it. A couple of days later, I was announced that there would be some additional work needed to the tune of an extra $4500. After removing the bumper, they thought the fenders had to be replaced since 2 plastic clips appeared to have detached from the bumper. A waste of insurance money, and perfectly good fenders since those clips are NOT supposed to be attached. (These are rectangular clips, below the fog lights, under the bumper - with the help of some solid bolts they are responsible for securing the bumper support to the car frame.) They only come attached when bumper is new, so that they are not lost in the shipping process. BMW confirmed this. And, what appeared as scratches initially, turned out to be just gypsum from the sheet rock, easily wiped off with a cloth. Fast forward ONE MONTH. Car came back with new hood and fenders. Headlights were misaligned and sticking out. Hood grill was poorly fit and had gaps. BMW logo on the hood could be easily tilted. Side steps were loose and had gaps. Orange reflective marker on the bumper fell into the bumper as soon as I touched it. Right windshield strip molding was loose as it was missing a few clips. Rear side windows were deeply scratched as the shop "pros" use razor blades to shave paint remnants when applicable. Front brake vent (underneath the car, next to right wheel) was cracked. Various trim pieces in the doors were missing. Interior left door panel was not properly remounted. Paint job was fine. Orange peel match not as fine since they wet sanded the doors. Interior of car was covered with an extremely fine layer of paint dust, not noticeable upon first inspection, definitely upsetting when noticing the dullness of the wood in the sun. Interior also smelled (and still does 2 months later) like paint. During the one month the car was in the shop, I stopped by every 2 days to make sure things were in order. I had been told about numerous delays and problems. There was a period when the car was in the back parking lot with the windows rolled down. When rain started on a weekend I had to call them several times so that someone covers the car or rolls up the windows. Eventually my car was covered, although a few others in a similar situation were not. After complaining about the above to shop owner and service adviser (John) I spent a weekend taking apart the car and fixing most of the above mentioned issues, less the interior paint problem (and smell) which cannot be solved. They apologized and offered a token financial compensation for my troubles. Bottom line: are you a person who really cares about the personal vehicle and understands the difference between quality work and ... a "free" detail? If so, I beg you to look elsewhere. Otherwise, seems that plenty of people are just happy at B2. read more

No matter how many 5 star reviews there, based on my experience, they are the worst ever. Not only they are doing a careless job, also they are not honest in the business. They caused the damage on the interior of my car when they fix the bumper and they get away to say this was an pre-existing condition.They lied in the court, although they took the oath said they are only telling the truth. Shame on them ! Be careful if you want to go in this shop, take pictures of your car for all of the details before handing your car to them, you may need it later. Also remember what was in your car and what was not, you may find you lose something like the foot mat, but has something extra, because they took the tool holder out from where is the spare tire and forget to put it back. That was what happened on my car exactly. And they forgot to turn off the light and made it lost all of the battery. they have to jump my car before I can leave. They are just not so careful for details. This manner of behavior could turn to big or small mistake on you car. For me the lesson is pretty big. I don't want this happen to anyone else. For the past two months, just a nightmare for me all because I made the mistake to choose this body shop per those good reviews. I wasted so much time to come forth and back and try to settle this in a pleasant way but only got more and more frustrated. They were either not returning the phone call, or being so rude talking to me, and lying to make me wait in the middle of nowhere. One of the manager in the shop, he yelled and hang up the phone on me couple times when I was so polite and patient to try to find a way to make this an end. Never been treated like this before, the way he talks is like I am the person who made damage on his property. This gives me a feel that they don't care about their customer once they get the money. I wish I read through those negative reviews before coming in this shop, those reviews are more believable for me after my real experience with this shop. I came here a week ago to do a clay bar treatment on my 2014 white Honda Accord coupe, and I am so pleasantly surprised that for 150$ total, I could get such a beautiful finish! Most places said their going price range for clay bar treatment went passed 280$, which was too deterring for me to pay with good conscience for five years. But the final straw in deciding to get my car detailed was a small paint chip on my front bumper. I couldn't stand looking at it, so I finally did some searching for an auto body shop nearby that was reasonably within my price range. I'm so glad I found B2 Auto! Everything from the moment they picked up the phone, to the final moment of giving me the receipt was professional, attentive, and easy. Tristan came outside to assess my car condition: I had that one blasted paint chip, one scratched patch on the very bottom of the front bumper (not easy to see, but still a scratch on my pride from a couple years ago), some surface scratches on the body, and some scrapes across the aluminium of the wheels. I keep my car in good condition, but novice mistakes from five years ago always haunted me. Tristan was honest in telling me what they can and can't fix: the left rear wheel aluminium was beyond what they could do without replacing it, but everything else could be fixed. He was friendly, even though I nearly gouged his eye out with my umbrella out in the rain and wind (I'm really sorry). Well, I'm so happy to say that those blemishes are no more! Victor took my car, and detailed it beautifully! It looks brand new! Before I brought it in, it still had that new car look to it, but after he worked on it, it looks like an on-floor model for a sparkly car show. Like I said, it was raining that day, so I couldn't take a picture of my freshly clay bar treated coupe on the spot, but now that the weather is nice, I finally found somewhere to take `em. read more

I dropped off my vehicle at B2 Perfection Auto Body on December 16, 2025, after being informed that the necessary parts had already arrived and that the repair would be completed by December 23, 2025. Additionally, the final cost of the repair was approximately $5,000 higher than the initial quote provided at drop-off. After the initial estimate, after the vehicle was dropped off, the communication pattern changed significantly. I received little to no proactive communication. I had to follow up multiple times to obtain updates, and there were extended periods with no response. On the evening of January 9, I informed the shop that I would be picking up my vehicle the next day. Only then did I receive a message stating that the repair would be completed shortly. However, the vehicle was not actually ready at that time and required many additional hours. The repair ultimately took far longer than promised. I was finally able to pick up my car on January 13, nearly one month after drop-off. While the vehicle was eventually repaired, this experience raised serious concerns regarding repair timelines, transparency, and communication. Delays and technical issues may occur, but they should be communicated clearly and in a timely manner, with respect for the customer's time. I am sharing this experience to help other customers make informed decisions and to emphasize the importance of honesty and customer respect in automotive service. read more

LIGHTING STRIKES TWICE I could not beleive it when a car ran into my M45 in the Safeway parking lot. He got the right side and the bumper. The metal was badly torn and the chrome wheel was badly damaged. The driver was very nice and quickly admited that it was his fault. My insurance company wrote the estimate to repair everything, but not to replace the torn metal etc. I took it back to the B 2 Perfection Body Shop, in Sunyvale, as they did such a good job on my first accident. I saw the owner Brad Trost again, he was very nice and put me at ease right away. He assured me that he would see that the torn metal and damaged wheel would be replaced. He called me in a couple of days and told me that he had got approval to replace everything. I picked the car up in about a week and it looked better then when I bought it. The detail job that his people did was so beautiful, it was almost worth the accident. The estimate turned out to be more then double ot the original estimate, by the insurance company. I took it back to Neillo Infifinti, where I bought it again and they agreed that it still looked better then when I bought it. Lighting did strike twice, but an excellent repair job did too. I conned Brad into doing a detail job on my wife's car, she was so jealous about the way my car looked. I hope that the only time that I see him again, at his shop, is for my wife's detail job. I brought my wife's Tesla Model 3 to B2 "Perfection," hoping they'd live up to their name. Unfortunately, the experience was more like a short-circuit than a seamless repair. While they initially fixed the primary issue, it turns out they didn't replace the approved front passenger glass. We realized this only after taking the car home, which meant we had to make a return trip a few weeks later--definitely not the type of "range anxiety" we expected. The root cause? The estimator coordinator, Jack Minor, apparently didn't communicate well with the technicians about the arrival of the part (major problem, Jack). This lack of connection led to unnecessary downtime for us--something you don't want with a high-voltage vehicle like a Tesla. But the issues didn't stop there. We now discover that the fog lights' connectors aren't working because the technicians failed to reconnect the wiring properly. It's disappointing, to say the least, especially from a shop that seemed reputable. B2 "Perfection" might want to consider a name change, because their attention to detail and communication were anything but perfect. Dealing with Jack and his manager was like trying to charge a Tesla with a broken charger--frustrating and slow. I don't ever recommend this place unless you want a spark of disappointment and a jolt of regret. read more

I have been to B2 three times within the past year for all my auto body work, and I must say I am amazed each and every time. The quality of the work is outstanding, each of the three times I have gotten paint work done the outcome has always looked OEM as if it came straight from the factory. Their ability to color match is unbelievable and the customer service at B2 is top notch. Blake helped me on my first visit to B2 and I make sure to come back to him each time. He always goes that extra mile to make sure that I am more than satisfied. My most recent visit I took in two bumpers to get painted and he told me to bring back the car after I had put them back on (since I wanted to do the work myself) and he took the car for a day and he told me he would not only polish and wax the bumpers but detail the rest of the car as well. When I went in that afternoon to pick up my car, I must say I have never seen my car so clean in my life. Rims polished, car waxed, engine bay detailed, and the interior was amazing; carpets steam cleaned, not a spec of dust in sight. I might also add he even touched up some scratches I had on the car that he noticed. Blake really shows that he cares for his customers, I know that each time I come back to B2 and work with Blake I will be more than happy with the results. read more

A friend told me about B2 and when I practically wrecked my poor little Honda, i decided to give them a shot. I brought my car over to get an estimate on my lunch break and the shop seemed to be pretty busy but they made me feel like they had all the time in the world for me. Blake was very friendly and made the entire process enjoyable. I dropped my car off the next day and had it back in less than 2 weeks. Now, if you had seen my car, you would be amazed it was even repairable, let alone get it back so fast... What I enjoyed the most was being able to pick my car up on a Saturday as my car wasn't finished until late Friday and I didn't have time to get it after work before they closed. The owner called to let me know my car was ready and was also there that Saturday morning when I went to find my little Honda restored back to its beautiful self. He made sure the car was clean and drove it around to me. Oh and when i say clean, i mean spotless... They gave my car a full detail, inside and out. I've never been so impressed! It certainly pays to be nice! haha I paid my deductible and was on my way in a car you would have never known I had destroyed. And so, my dear dear friends, the moral of the story is... B2 Perfection Auto Body is nothing less than what their name implies... read more

Contrary to what a previous reviewer wrote, I've never been offered any type of incentive from B2 Perfection for writing a good review on Yelp. I'm writing this because good service is so hard to find these days and other people should hear about it. I've been a customer of B2 for several years now with multiple vehicles that needed service. No, the accidents were not my fault. I've had to deal with other autobody shops in the past and the experiences ranged from fair to horrible. Since I've been going to B2, my experiences have ranged from very good to outstanding. I always work with either Brad or Bill. Both these guys have always made the extra effort to satisfy me, the customer. They have always accommodated me when I had to drop-off or pick-up a vehicle after hours. In one case, Bill spent over an hour road testing my car with me in order to diagnose a problem with the repair. It was a very subtle noise at a specific speed while turning in a gradual arc. He also spent even more time road testing after the suspect part was replaced in order to insure that the problem had been solved. I could go on but I think that you get my point. The customer service is outstanding and I can rely on B2 to give me a quality repair at a reasonable cost. I can't say that about most other places. read more

I have an Acura TSX that had a poor accident when it ran itself, autostart, into a fence leaving the bumper completely off. My girlfriend suggested to take it to B2 perfection to get it fixed. At first we were a bit hesitiant because last time she had it done there they did it hella good but it was through insurance so she didn't know if they were pricey or not. We worked with Darren on the car by first getting an estimate. We went to one other place just to see a comparrison. Darren was able to get us taken care of at a reasonable price and they fixed up the car so that it looked amazing. The shop detailed the car inside and out giving it a special touch. Before the incident, the car had an aftermarket bumper that I had been meaning to get switched anyway from the previous owner. The new bumper looked 100x better than it had and they even put on the license plate bracket for us. We were also able to order the emblems (the Acura A, TSX, and the Acura signs on the back of the car) through there so it saved us a trip to the dealership to get them. Darren did an amazing job and we will definitely be going back if we ever come across any more accidents. Knock on wood. read more

This is my first ever 'Yelp review', or any other for that matter. B 2 Perfection was so good I was inspired to write my first ever review. Because I've had issues in the past with Auto Body shops, when my insurance company recommended a shop in San Jose, I decided to do a little research before deciding who to go with. And I'm glad I did. I took a trip down to the shop recommended by my insurance company... They were dis-organized and even a little rude. After more research, I found B 2 and decided to go with them. My car required just under 10k in repairs. I was worried it would never look or drive the same. Well it does. B 2 made it look and run perfect again. No joke, I think the car (paint especially) even looks better now. I have an absolute horror story involving a previous accident and repair shop. Complete with a flooding passenger cabin and lawsuits. I did not want a repeat of that experience. I'm glad I did a little research, but I'm even more grateful there's a shop out there like B 2 Perfection. They did a GREAT job with my vehichle! I couldn't ask for more! read more

Got an accident 1st week of February and have been to a couple of body shop in town and have been so frustrated in finding one. I also called the dealer where I bought the car and they can't even get me a reliable one as I can see and based on talking to these people. I called my nephew and asked him for some ideas how to find a good shop. He gave me a couple based on his research and B2 is one of them. This Darren Heneres even the first time we met him was very friendly, he will give you honest estimates and very good in dealings with your insurance. He will give you all the infos you need, will call or email you for updates and these things will make you feel at ease - knowing that your car will be in good hands it will really give you a good feeling. My car is almost done and with Darren's calls, emails and sending pictures of latest updates you will really feel you're always being helped. I highly recommend this place, please come and visit B2 in Sunnyvale and ask for Darren he will be able to help you.
