I was helped by Edgar and his manager Mr. Martinez when I brought my 2023 Audi A4 in for repair. It had survived the Eaton Canyon fire on January 7 of 2025. My concern about having the car worked on were all the electronics and systems being restored to pre-fire status. Caliber works with specialists to recalibrate things and that make sure everything is working perfectly before the vehicle is returned to you. A lot of work had to be done to my car before I could get it back, they texted me to give me updates and were very professional. I brought my Honda crv to caliber 11/3 for repair and did not receive any notification of status until 11/17. By then, their 10 day grace period had elapsed and I was being charged exorbitant "storage" fees. My car had parts dismantled but because the insurance company decided to settle the car as a total loss, Caiber declined to undergo the repairs to not associate their name to a salvage car. If they knew it was a salvage car, why wait the two weeks before telling me? The dismantling and the refusal to put back the dismantled car cost me even more from the salvage company. Not to say the car was then held hostage because it was unsafe to drive from the dismantling. They tried to hold it over the weekend and charge me even more storage fees. If you bring your car here, you better call them every day to get the status or you will end up being cheated out of thousands of dollars for "storage". read more

I brought my car into Caliber per my insurance. I had a dent to my fender that also involved the hood. The initial estimate was later supplemented by a deeper revelation - to ultimately determine the cost to repair was greater than my insurance policy would accept. This bad news was compounded by the letter from my insurance that stated I would need to hire a flatbed tow truck to remove my car from the shop. I drove the car in. It was perfectly fine when it arrived. Now I was given a death certificate and would have to hire a 3 ton hearse to retrieve my now inoperable car. Anthony ( at Caliber on Walnut Ave in Pasadena ) was assigned to my case and I am grateful for his Stewardship. His Personal consideration of my unique predicament in the face of the indifference shown by my insurance company has made me a fan of Caliber collision - and I am especially impressed by all his efforts to explain the questions I had and his commitment to leaving me satisfied. Stay away from this business if you value your car and your piece of mind. Repeated repair delays. Shoddy work. Unprofessional. Didn't inspect their own work. Needed car repair for a minor scrape. Repairs were delayed multiple times for reasons that didn't seem to make sense. When it was finally time to return it to me, they asked if I needed a part that they couldn't locate - if I'd accept the car back without that cosmetic part (??). I said no, I'd wait. More delay. When they got the part and were giving the car back to me I noticed there was still damage from the incident. When I pointed it out they "oh, sorry about that" and offered to "try" and fix it. They simply hadn't inspected it. For all the delays and problems they asked me to please consider taking a few days before I fill out the work survey. And the manager said not connected to survey, but for the multiple delays, come back any time and "we'll give you a free car 'detail' for all the hassle." I came back for the "free car detail" and they returned the car to me dirty - dust, sand, crumbs, no seats washed, no shine at all, they had used no spray inside - someone looked like they spent a few minutes w a dirty rag inside the car. Outside was similar. I spoke to the guy overseeing the "detail." He acknowledged it was a poor job and was actually not car "detail." (I could have gotten a much better job done for a basic $18 car wash). He offered to do a little more thorough job if I wanted to come in again, but not anything like a car detail. Shame on me if set foot in that place again. I'll say this, they were friendly in the midst of the unprofessionalism and shoddy work. read more

I was referred to the Caliber Collision on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena CA by my insurance company to fix some damage from an accident. There were several things that I didn't like about Caliber Collision. First, they didn't believe that the damage was caused by the accident that I was in and insinuated that I was lying. They perpetrated this narrative/lie to the insurance company and the insurance company embraced it. Second, to say they provide customer service is giving them too much credit. I found them to be unresponsive, unhelpful and patronizing and just in general not very helpful. To get any information of the status of my car was like pulling teeth. Third, although they fixed the cosmetic damage and did a great job they did not fix the structural damage to the car so although the car looks nice it is unsafe to drive. Lastly, giving 1 star is awfully generous. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't allow me to give 1/2 stars. In my opinion Caliber Collision doesn't provide value for money. read more
