A few months ago, I accidentally drove my new truck into a deep ditch, causing some minor damage to the right front end. I decided to stop by a local service center to inquire about the cost of repairing the issue. Specifically, the front quarter panel had become detached, with all the clips that secured it to the other panel popping loose. I spoke with Sean Steiner, the service advisor, and explained that I was hoping to have the panel reattached without any additional repairs, such as painting or replacing parts. I also mentioned that I intended to cover the costs out of pocket rather than file an insurance claim. Sean then asked if I had a few minutes to wait, and promptly took the vehicle into the garage to have one of his technicians assess the situation. To my surprise, within just a few minutes, the quarter panel was fully repaired and securely clipped back into place. Sean then informed me that the repair would be provided at no charge. I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received, particularly the quick turnaround time and the generosity shown. Sean went above and beyond to assist me with this minor issue, and his thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. Couldn't be happier with my experience with this shop. Sean S. was my service manager, and he truly went above and beyond the call of duty taking care of me. My truck is my baby, so when it was damaged in an accident, I worried that it would never be quite the same. My truck is customized a fair amount, and I wanted Sean to fix some things while leaving others to me--honestly I felt like I was probably a pretty challenging customer in that way, as my instructions weren't straight-forward. But Sean was fully understanding and worked around all the details and met all of my requests. I can't believe the quality of work he and his team put in--you honestly can't tell anything ever happened to the truck. I only learned when I picked it up how much behind-the-scenes work went on to make that happen. As just one example, I have some aftermarket blackout overlays over the standard chrome door badges that I bought off of Amazon years back. It didn't even occur to me when I dropped off the truck that the guys would have to re-badge the truck as part of their restoration. Sean somehow went and found perfectly matching overlays (even saying that the first ones he got weren't quite right so he ordered a second set which matched properly). I backed my car up to reposition it this afternoon and my door was open and it pushed the door into a cement light pole. After that, it would not shut, as it was jammed. I went to Caliber Collision in Santa Cruz and asked for an estimate and if possible, help closing the door for now. Amanda, at the front desk, greeted me right away and came outside to look at my car. She reassured me and went over to the garage to ask two mechanics, Chester and Julio, if they could look at it. They left their work immediately and came over. They conferred and tried lifting it up and out together, but it wouldn't move, so they conferred again and got a crowbar to have leverage and got it back in place! It closed and opened then! Amanda was very kind and calming and explained how I could use the immediate estimate process on my phone or to call my Geico insurer to arrange an appointment through Mary. Lina was also very kind and helpful to me when I drove up and when I was leaving, while she did estimates for others. Such amazing and caring service!! I was met by friendly and helpful employees when I had to prepare my van for the insurance to take possession upon deeming my vehicle totaled. They provided an amazing employee named Antonio G. to help me empty my van...and I had a lot in there. He was smiling all throughout the time we were working on it and was so humble every time my mom or I thanked him for all his help. He even helped my mom when her battery died a few times. I am so thankful to Antonio G. for going above and beyond. Caliber Collision is very lucky to have him as an employee. Took my car in today after catching my front bumper on a bollard pole this weekend. CC got me in quickly for an assessment and estimate, and after looking at the damage, determined it was minor, pulled my car in and quickly fixed the problem. I arrived for a repair estimate without an appointment and in the middle of the day. The woman who took down my information was great, and I felt I would be well cared for. The man who came out to do the estimate on the damage I had done to the side skirt was more than competent. He looked at it and immediately asked whether he could fix it. He moved the car to one of the bays and asked a mechanic to do the job and it was repaired in minutes. He didn't raise the possibility of a "needed repair AND didn't charge me anything.
