I scheduled an appointment with Caliber Collision through my insurance (Progressive) after waiting over two weeks. The day before, the front desk receptionist called to confirm the appointment. On the day of service, their technician looked at my 2007 Lexus, took the keys, and we left the car with them. Later that same day, I received a vague call from the receptionist telling me to return because they could not work on the vehicle due to its age. When I asked for clarification in person, the receptionist quickly deferred to others, and two staff members explained it was "policy" not to work on older model Lexus vehicles. They also stated that Progressive doesn't know their policy, so appointments are scheduled even when Caliber cannot actually service the car. When I expressed that my time had been wasted, the staff became defensive, insisting they personally hadn't scheduled the appointment. In my view, this misses the point: Caliber Collision is a team, and the lack of communication and training across staff and third‑party scheduling partners directly impacts customers. After waiting weeks, confirming the appointment, and leaving my car, I was told only afterward that they couldn't perform the work. This is a clear breakdown in communication and customer service. Had my SUV in for repair after an accident. Disappointing to find out parts are not ordered until car is dropped off, causing extra time in repairs. My rental was over before repairs were started. Had text messages that came from the manager the week before repairs were to be complete that an additional 3 weeks were needed. When I called my contact, she didn't know why the manager was texting me and said he didn't know what was going on with my vehicle. It was done the following week. The manager was doing the paperwork when returning the vehicle. I pointed out trim work was not attached correctly and had black putty/caulking on the paint and trim. He agreed and said he would have to order new trim and fix it. Unfortunately it was on backorder for 6 months. He knew this because he had to order the same part for another repair. A month goes by and I call to find out what is going on. My contact had no knowledge of this. She said she would talk to the manager, but he gets things confused. Never got a call back. Went to the shop 2 weeks later and was told by contact they never took the part off so it wasn't their problem. Ask to talk to the manager because he said he would attach it correctly. He was to call me that day. He did not. I called back the following week and got to speak with him finally. Was told by him he was confused by the volume of repairs and was wrong to tell me he would fix it because they never touched it. I pointed out if they didn't touch it, why all the black putty on the molding and the paint? He said it came off when they washed it and I brought it in that way because I had the windshield replaced prior (it was replaced 3 years prior and fit snuggly). In the end, the manager would not keep his word for the fix. Had no clue as to why the black stuff was on my car because it wasn't them. It was in their shop. They had pictures to prove it. I have pictures too! It shows it was snug and no black putty on it. I will never do business with them again! I will be taking the vehicle to the dealer for tune up and safety check to see that it was done correctly. And get new battery because that doesn't work either! read more

My truck was taken in on April 9th and today is July 1st I am still waiting for a phone call which they continue to promise they will call me the following day and I won't get a call for a week or two later. I have had numerous problems with getting my truck repaired and the body man there has even become aggressive with me and threatened to rip the mirror off my truck only because I showed him that his body work had not been done correctly. They have called me two or three times to go pick up my truck only for me to drive 60 miles and find out that parts were either loose or completely missing or there were screws missing and the skid plate was installed incorrectly. I was also told that my rack and pinion was not damaged because of the accident but that I had taken it in already like that so I would like to know why they replaced the tie rod end on that side? I was also told that the pads in front of the wheel well we're not there when I took it in but I have pictures proving otherwise. It has been one headache after another with these guys and they have treated me so badly that I do not recommend anyone taking their vehicle there ever for any reason. When they finally do call me to say that it has been completed I will ask for a post vehicle inspection because I do not trust these people at all. They're the most knowledgeable and unprofessional car repair shop I have ever met I am saddened that my insurance company recommended them and I will relay that to my insurance company. read more
