Incredible customer service! They text you updates constantly on the vehicle cost assessment, repair time, supply updates, current maintenance actions and then projected completion date. I brought my vehicle in after a deer hit my SUV and they not only repaired all damages in a timely manner but they also washed/vacuumed my car before they returned it to me. I had a great experience here. I was directed to caliber collision through my insurance after someone backed into the side of my car. The team was very welcoming and highly accommodating. They took care of dents and substantial paint to my BMW. The work was done in a week; they even offered to pick me up and drop me off locally as I have only the one car. Super nice! I can highly recommend trusting the team to help with your repairs. Their pricing is fair and the repair quality was excellent. Cherry on top: my father got a flat tire taking me to the shop for pick up, they quickly rallied and helped us make a pit crew like change so everyone could get on with their Friday night! Calibur Collision's customer service is really bad. I had my car towed there over twenty-one days ago as per insurance company's instructions.  They finally called me back two weeks later telling me prelimanary estimate was done. Since then no contact, no timeline as to what or when to expect. If they were going to close shop thru end of month I would expect them to let me know, but not a word about anything.  I'm thinking of having it towed to another shop, one that would let me know whats going to happen and when. read more

I went to caliber collision after getting into a front end accident in my 2014 Toyota Tacoma resulting in a need to replace my hood, fender, driver side door, radiator and AC components. I expected to get quality parts and work done based on all their 5 star reviews. Unfortunately this was far from the truth. After receiving my truck one week late I noticed quite a few problems with it. First I noticed my driver side speaker was non functional, after further inspection I noticed my headlight were wired wrong (one high beam one low beam)upon returning to get it fixed they were not aligned resulting in 3rd trip to the body shop. Furthermore my wheel well liners were not replaced, there was polishing compound splashed all over my engine bay and various parts of my car and interior, my drivers side fender was loose and popping out while my front bumper was left sagging and not in it original place. To make matters worse the paint on my door (that was replaced by a recycled one) started to peel which showed the paint from the donor vehicle still underneath and the fitment of the replacement was not exact. Although most of the problems were address by the regional manager Jason Gill after about 7 trips back to the shop I still cant help but feel the work on my car was sloppy and rushed leaving me uneasy and with a strong urgency to trade my truck in. I would have thought that for a $12K insurance job I would have at least got a OEM door (I'm almost certain my hood and fender are recycled parts) and quality work. I would highly recommend a different body shop as I would hate for anyone to experience what I experienced resulting in lots of wasted time. I can definitely say they do not live up to their slogan. The rhyme of my life was not restored. They do not deserve the 5 star rating shown on google as they entice their customer to leave a good review with the lure a $5 Starbucks gift card. After being rear ended, I did some research on local collision centers and I decided to give Caliber Collision a try. They have locations in Paso Robles and SLO so the name was familiar. This location is fairly new but the staff and the store manager Joseph Rubio made the entire process as smooth and seamless as possible. I was surprised with the amount of time that it took to repair my vehicle. I dropped it off on the Monday before Thanksgiving and they had it ready in just 2 days! I dropped my car off, he proceeded to follow up with any changes that took place during the week he had it . The worst experience I took my car in to get a ding fixed on the hood. When they called me to pick up my car my car looked better when I brought it in compared to when I picked it up there is overspray everywhere buffing compound everywhere they washed a black car left water on it and a body shop should know if you wash a black car you have to dry it or else water spots will stain. The girl I started to tell her everything that was wrong with the car then Joseph comes out I tell him look at all this crap on my car he states it's not crap I said if my car is ready to get picked up and all that stuff is on the car it's crap. Then he starts to bring out all the sprays to wipe the car down and he was as rude as hell and says is there anything else I looked at the girl and said give me my keys I got the hell out of there then I open my car they left scuff marks on my door the placemat where you put your feet so I had to clean all that out and then when I walked in to give them the paper Joseph went into his office and let the girls handle the situation. He didn't apologize he said nothing. When I got my car home I started to clean it then I looked at the hood they painted over rocks they burnt my paint scratches everywhere on my hood I sent all the pictures to my insurance now I have to take the car to another shop and get it fixed again because this jerk couldn't do it the first time. I needed the work done in a certain time frame and Caliber in Santa Maria was able to accommodate me. From my my first contact with the receptionist, to dealing with the estimator, to the finished product when I received my car back, I was thoroughly impressed with their operation. The work was excellent, my repairs were completed earlier than expected and they even detailed the car inside and out before returning it to me.
