BEWARE!!! We had them fix our new 2023 F150. it had 1600 miles on it. We had an accident and trusted them to repair the passenger side of the truck. It needed 2 new passenger doors & fender work. After they had it for 3 weeks we had a call because they lost the key to the locking wheel locks, we took the spear key to find our New Truck full of dirt & leaves! They had taken the 2 doors off the truck & left it wide open! It was full of DIRT! We were told "Oh, we'll clean it up, it will be fine." When we got it back they had cleaned it up, it smelled so bad of DIRT I had to roll the windows down on the drive home to breath. We were asked if we gave a good review they would have the truck detailed. We agreed thinking we had no choice to try to get the truck cleaned. When we dropped it off for the detailing, I showed them the engine that was also covered in dirt. They had it detailed, but it still smelled of DIRT. We asked to have the air filter changed & Ray agreed to do it. Well 5 months later NO air filter, No phone call, NO nothing. Please don't let them do to you what they did to us. We No longer have a NEW TRUCK it still smells of DIRT. read more

Pretty upset with the recent work done on our vehicle. The first time I went to pick up the car I noticed 2 big holidays in the on the newly installed bumper. I brought this up in the first walk through and gave em the chance to correct it. When I came the second time to pick it up I noticed the exact same problem in the exact same spots. When I mentioned that it wouldn't be that way if it came off the factory floor the worker proceeded to tell me that in factory's they have robots painting and at caliber there's humans doing it so hair like and skin can affect the paint job. He said that they can redo it a 3rd time but it may have another holiday in a different area. I asked is that really the quality of your workman's ship. If I wasn't satisfied with a defect in the paint on the first time what makes you think I would be happy with it the second time I come to pick it up. I don't have a 3rd evening to attempt to pick it up so I guess I'll just be unhappy. read more

Things have not changed! I had very minimal damage to my truck, and it still took caliber 2 months before I had gotten my truck back. The job caliber had done was horrible first they got the wrong parts for my truck and then when they had shown me the truck it looked absolutely horrible. I am very disappointed with the service I have received from caliber collision. Basically found every statement they use in their advertising statements were not followed. Currently on my fourth round of repairs. Summary of issues include trying to return vehicle as properly repaired with panel alignments issues, multiple paint runs, and paint damage to panels that were not part of the original repairs. Other issues include poor communication of repair status, failure to return calls as promised, failure of calls to management being returned. I am at the point of wanted to take back my vehicle in any condition as I have lost complete confidence in thier ability to due anything other than consume repair funds. read more

I had a repair done some years ago. Should be lifetime guarantee. So I had to remove my bumper and grill to get to the condenser and found shotty work under all that shiny new paint. The price that the grill and headlight screw Into were left un repaired. So basically the headlight and one side of my grill aren't even attached. This is pathetic! read more

THINGS HAVE CHANGED!!! I was a little bit skeptical of choosing this location at first due to the lower ratings from about a year ago (As of 5/30/2022). However, I can fully assure I made the correct decision! I worked with Tammie specifically after my truck got in an accident, she was amazing and communicative. All of the work that was done to my truck was done properly and exceeded expectations. when I showed up to pick up my truck (which by the way is a dusty work truck of mine) they cleaned the truck too... tire shine, washed and more importantly.. I've had three cars repaired here and I was VERY happy with the service and especially the quality of work. I have had auto body work done at maybe three other places over the years and I ALWAYS found something wrong with the car the first time they called me to pick it up. One of these three places was actually the dealer's body shop - since they were a dealer, I mistakenly assumed it would be high quality - it was NOT. This is not the case with Caliber though - when they call you and tell you that your car is ready, it is REALLY ready. I'm very picky with my cars and I go over them with a fine tooth comb before I sign off on any repairs. I never found any issues that they had missed. Also convenient is the fact that there is an Enterprise Rental Car right next door. Price - I can't really comment on the price because my insurance, or someone else's insurance covered all three of the aforementioned repairs. Therefore, I wasn't really concerned with cost - only service and quality. I deducted one star because they don't always keep you updated like they promise when you drop the car off. I had to call a couple of times to get updates on the car and in one case, I left a couple of messages before the service advisor called me back. I really didn't sweat it that much because I had a rental car that was being paid for by the insurance, but if I didn't have this, it might have been a bigger issue. I will definitely go back and will recommend to others. read more

Caliber Collision deserves a five star because they deliver 5 star service. This is the second time I had to deal with Caliber and both times they have been outstanding in terms of customer service and friendliness. Amber has always been my go to person. She is very outgoing and easy to do business with. The company lets you know the progress of your vehicle so that you can make arrangements to drop it off or pick it up. If something happens and they cannot get your car done at a specific time they will let you know. I had to go back because they missed a very small scratch and Amber told me to come and they will fix it, which they did while I was waiting. I highly recommend this establishment. It is also located next to Enterprise Rental car if you need to rent one. read more

Intake process ok. Updates regular but generic and without detail. Pickup process is where I have issues. Inspected my truck and bodywork seemed good but cleanup detail not good. Spots of some compound spray everywhere. When I mentioned to the mgr, he said "we're not a detail shop" like not cleaning up after their work was excusable. I removed valuables from my truck but everything left was dug through completely and misplaced as if looking for something to pilfer. Seat position was changed. Radio channels changed.!steering wheel position changed. Environmental changed. Bottom line for me? Competent body work, no attention to detail and dishonest employees. Won't go back.! read more

nice work on color match HOWEVER timeliness of job and attention to detail lacking. I've had a couple of repair with them. It seems that they want the customer to give it the detailed look (quality control) or hope that the customer doesn't notice. I am very picky about my cars so others may not have noticed.... here are the shortcomings. the trunk was not lined up, had difficulty closing/opening, trim work not attached or barely attached, broke the anchors for my floor mats The promised date vs delivery date were 3 days off. read more

I came here to repair damage done by another shop and they not only took care of the problem I came in with, but they also replaced a missing reflector that had fallen off between shops. I had work done on my G37 IPL. Wow these guys are good. I can't tell where the work was done. There were no surprises. The only surprise was the cost... it was MUCH less than I thought and the work was exceptional. I am a fan and would recommend this place to anyone. If you have insurance, I'd definitely recommend this place given an Enterprise Car Rental place is right next door - you could walk all of the 100 feet to it. Great work. Great customer support. I used Caliber (particularly this location) for many years, but after the big hail storm in 2016, I WILL NOT ever again use them. I realized they were flooded with work, but the way they handle it was AWFUL. I was told to call this call center number and was given a number and told it would be 16-18 months before I could get my car repaired (Jaguar XF 2015), but that I would get calls periodically to receive status updates and they also gave me a 1-800 number to call to check where I was on the list. NEVER got a call, the number I got didn't work. After a few months, I went to the Jaguar Dealership and asked them for recommendations on where to take my car. They recommend Gabe's on Fredericksburg. They were able to get me in that same week and did the work in 3 days and it was P-E-R-F-E-C-T. Caliber you lost a customer with your appalling customer service. read more

Worse place to get your car fixed . I was in an accident in 2007 and brought it here since my insurance recommended it . They took for ever to fix my car and when it was ready .. It was not ready and I had to bring it back 3 times after the first visit for them to fix everything correct . They half ass everything . Now I'm still dealing with them . They had to re paint my hood from warranty issues and they left residue on my car after they painted it so it looks worse . So total I been here 7 times to fix one issue and I hope I don't have to come back again ! I do not recommend this place to anyone! Should be an option for no stars read more

let me just start off by stating, if it wasn't for Todd Janaky, the manager, i would have gone up the ladder to headquarters for this complaint. He was not only considerate and understanding but he also felt compelled to make things right even though it was out of his control. my journey throughout the endeavor started with my car being struck by a 18-wheeler on 1/14/16 and damaging the left rear quarter panel and door frame. it was towed to this Caliber location and needed to be looked at by my service advisor, he was unavailable even though i was called to sign papers "right away" so another gentleman showed me my car and a rough estimate of the damage and repairs that were to happen. long story short, everything was fine up to that point. i was getting text message updates that showed i would get my car back on 2/1/16. great, i though. the day i was supposed to get my car back i NEVER received a call from my service advisor or any text messages about arrival time or any sort of agenda. i called my SA and he said that there was a delay on the delivery side stating they received the wrong part. my NEW pick-up date was now 2/5/16. i really wish i could have known before that day so i WOULDN'T have rescheduled myself around my work schedule. i do not work a 9-5 and reworking a set schedule is not easy in a hospital. On the day of my NEW pick-up that i again had to reschedule myself for i called and still didn't get a call of text message about when to show up. i AGAIN had to call my SA and again, there was another delay. this time, the person working on my car BROKE a trim piece. the new trim piece was to be delivered and wont be delivered until the next day but then they still must complete repairs and repaint. the NEXT NEW pick-up date was 2/8/16. needless to say i as furious. i expressed my frustration with my SA and stated how difficult it was to rearrange my schedule for them without a rental and then he stated he would give me a rental. the next morning i met with a manager to pick up my rental slip, walked over to the rental place and picked a car up. all i well at this point because they are trying to make up for their mistakes. 2/8/16 comes around and it still isn't completed. but i had the rental so it isn't that big of a deal except reworking my schedule to pick-up my car on time. new pick-up date is 2/9/16 2/9/16 still isn't done. will be done the next day. pissed this is taking so long. i no longer speak with my SA, instead, Todd. Todd was very professional and agreed with my frustration whereas my SA was less that empathetic. Todd agreed to have my car detailed once it was finished with repairs for all the inconveniences i was having with Caliber Collision. Todd also agreed to hand delivering my car to me at my work since i wouldn't get off work until 7pm, the store closes sooner than that. new DELIVERY date is 9/11/16 9/11/16: Todd calls me to let me know he was about to be on his way to my work to deliver my car and pick up the rental. also he lets me know he put fuel into my car just an another 'sorry' for all inconveniences. later that day i get another call from Todd. he was getting on the highway and notices a subtle wheel noise coming from the damaged wheel and tells me he is going to get the part and it will be fixed and delivered the next day. naturally i was upset, BUT you could tell in his voice that it was not only sincere, but he said it in a way that i knew he was trying to take care of me and i couldn't be mad with that. i finally get my car delivered on Friday 2/12/14. 12 days AFTER i was supposed to get it in the first place. almost a month after my accident. this sort of thing is COMPLETELY unacceptable and i knew that Todd knew it and he tried to make things right. if it wasn't for him and trying so hard this review would have been a lot worse. read more

Nick at Caliper was outstanding as the estimator that looked at my TLX Acura. There wasn't a lot of damage caused by the Individual that hit me in the rear, but his insurance wanted to short change the cost of the actual damage. Nick noticed things that I didn't see. Outstanding job by this estimator. The car took several days to complete the work but it was due to the car being a "specialty Car" due to all the camera's and technical devices involved on it. The car, when completed, looked just like the day I bought it.... The most outstanding service that Nick and Caliper gave me was they were looking out for my interests and not the insurance company that tried to short change me. I've taken several of my vehicles to this center and have never been disappointed by their work. read more

And then after I got in it took them two weeks to get my bumper fixed bc they could not get their stories straight with Liberty mutual...I had to call and raise hell before they actually got the job finished. Derrick and the folks at the Schertz, TX location did an amazing job in making sure our vehicle was repaired and roadworthy almost two weeks ahead of schedule. Our family was moving to GA and we desperately needed our truck to make the trip. Derrick understood our every concern and our tight timeline. He kept us informed and personally oversaw every aspect of the process to include working with the insurance company to save time, eliminate frustration, and deliver our vehicle on time. He even had our airbag system checked because the bags didn't deploy on impact. He could have dismissed our concerns about the air bags, but he followed through with a diagnosis and informed us of the results. Excellent customer care and service all around! This place is the ABSOLUTE worst! Don't bring your vehicle here! My jeep had very little damage and it took close to a month for them to fix my vehicle. My service advisor Dillan didn't call to give me status updates on my vehicle throughout the process! I had to call him multiple times to get updates. I was told my vehicle would be ready on a Friday to show up to it disassembled!!!! When my vehicle was completed, no one called. But, of course I was told multiple attempts to contact me were made. Not true! Anyone who knows me, knows I was waiting on the phone call for my vehicle. I then show up again to pick up my vehicle told they don't accept CASH as a form of payment!!! Who doesn't accept cash? Sounds like some serious internal financial issues. I will NEVER do business here again. read more

I will never take my car to this Caliber Collision again. I took my car in for repairs in confidence and trust worthiness that they would complete and document the correct repairs on a 2016 car. I had a small dent on a bumper and they reported my car to Car Fax as a structural damage report. I WAS NOT aware of this being done. I had my car inspected by a specialist due to a car trade in attempt and the specialist reported NO structural damage. Now my trade in value is lowerd by thousands of dollars due to their unprofessional work and my car fax report.I DO NOT recommend this Caliber Collision. read more

I am going to give these guys a very poor rating based on my last experience with them...I have used them three times in the last five years on three different cars. A couple years ago I had a minute issue that was resolved quickly. Their office manager was very apologetic and rectified the situation. Now about this time... My car was hit above the rear bumper on the right side. When I went in to look at my car after they had fixed it, the right side did not match the left side. Needless to say the damage was fixed but the shape was off. They tried to get me to take the car after trying to make me pay the deductible and bring the car back for further repairs. I declined and so agreed my insurance company. It took them an additional four days to resolve the situation. Come to find out, the tail light was not aligned correctly. I brought my car home after they resolved this situation. A week after I noticed my rear bumper develop a crack, evidently the same crack opened up from the accident previously. Took it to them...they claimed that my car had been hit yet again. They showed me two marks on the bumper. I argued with them that was not the case, they would not listen. The rep and the office manager spoke about two separate marks which seemed to me were dirt marks but they would not budge. I asked them to clean those marks with soap and water, but they rather tried to scratch off these marks with their nails. I filed a complaint with my insurance and am waiting to hear back. I washed my car and especially the rear bumper - no marks and looks clean. The paint on the rear bumper is wrinkled and there are too many blue paint spots on the underside of the bumper where some of that area is black. A word of caution... They will give you a lifetime warranty on the repair but will not stand behind it. I have never kept track of their charges since I have paid only a deductible. Though they have done good work in the past, this particular situation is very bad, especially when the office staff behaves really badly and is not concerned with customer reasoning. read more

Second time repairs were left incomplete. The first time it was just me having to pay for an extra day of a rental car. This last time it was me having to bring my vehicle that was left without air conditioning to another shop. Caliber would not advocate for me to the insurance company. The new shop did advocate that the additional repairs were a direct result of the accident. The insurance agreed and paid the new shop to complete he repairs that caliber wouldn't not complete. Caliber was convenient but they will not get another opportunity to make our lives more difficult in the future. They are out of opportunities. read more
