Having a European car in the Texas Hill Country can be a challenge when it comes to getting it serviced. When that car is 18 years old, the challenge is even greater. I've taken my car here for a couple of issues, one was major and pretty straight forward, the second was even more time consuming because it was much less straightforward. The crew here worked with me to source the parts I needed at a price I could afford and stuck with the problems until they were resolved. Service like this does not come cheap however the value of getting it done right the first time with a shop that will back their work after you've paid for it makes it at least reasonable. These guys are direct and perhaps more unfiltered than you may find at other shops. They are also funny and passionate about getting your car back on the road working right. I was referred here by a friend and I am quite happy about it. My Ollady was in a drive thru and got hit on my front quarter panel by someone rushing through the parking lot, and I came here for some body work. They laid out a few options for me with or without using my insurance, and since I had a low deductible we ran it through the insurance. They were great with communicating with my adjuster and even communicated ahead of time that my return date would be 2 days later than originally anticipated, which I really appreciated. I dealt with Arthur and Belinda and they were both fantastic. I even had them do an oil change while it was there and they washed and vacuumed it before returning it! I've had two wonderful experiences with them working on my 2000 Volvo S-70. From the very beginning when I called to ask about working on this old of a vehicle, the lady who answered (Belinda) was very friendly, pleasant and able to answer all my questions without any pressure to have them do the work. I also talked to the shop foreman (Mariush) who is clearly passionate about working on these type vehicles and knew a lot about the car even before starting to work on it. 1. First experience was about 7 months ago. They let me bring it in right away and leave it until my appt time the next day. They charge about $150 to have it diagnosed, but that is money well spent. I usually work on my own vehicles but could not figure this out and they discovered the throttle body was bad. They let me think about what to do so I looked into doing it my self and called other shops but their price for the part and labor was lower so I went with them. The car ran like new. They also wash the car so when i got it back it not only ran perfectly, it looked great too. A great overall experience. 2. Two weeks ago it started running real rough. I did not think it was the throttle body but it has a 12 mth warranty and the codes I could read were not definitive so I took it back in. Another great experience like last time. They found a brittle/bad coil and spark plug. They said all of them should probably be replaced, which is what I do when I do the work myself, and that they would only charge for the additional parts and no more labor since doing one is pretty much like doing all 5. That's a very nice thing to offer. Again, they let me think about it so I'm getting all 5 and having them do it. I highly recommend this place due to their friendliness, professionalism, and love for what they are doing. Wow; called Import Euroworks this morning and explained the problem I was having Sun Roof Shade Switch on my BMW X1 with the young man.. I was asking when he can schedule me in so that I can get the problem resolved and he went out of his way and explained that I can bring the vehicle in this morning. To my amazement, not only did they go out their way to diagnose the problem, they took the vehicle to the back and got the Sun Roof Shade into the closed position. I was unable to completely swerve and avoid a blown truck tire after the SUV in front of me ran over it. I was able to drop of my vehicle the next day and once the adjuster approved the repairs they were able to make my car look like brand new once again. I had my 2003 Toyota Tacoma brought here to have the door handle repaired. They made it seem like the could take care of me no problem, "just leave the key and we'll send over the quote". I was happy to sign when I saw it would be 160. I thought it was a little bit pricy, but I didn't mind overpaying a bit since the business is local to my neighborhood. I came in two days later to pick up the vehicle only to discover that they had not even begun this minor repair, and that the $160 quote I signed was a "Diagnostic Cost". The diagnostic cost definitely caught me off guard, and it was hard to understand, but the staff explained to me that they lump the cost of diagnosing the issue into the price of the repair. No upfront quoting here, but the repair job was A1, no issues since. read more

My son bought a 2006 Volkswagen GTI from Import Euro Automotive at about $1500 under Kelley Blue Book value. The transaction went smoothly, but this place is very different from most dealerships. In fact, from the outside it looks more like an auto customization place than a place to buy a car. But we found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There's also very little pressure, which is nice for people who don't enjoy the "dance" of buying a vehicle. Import Euro is definitely a place to consider if you're in the market for a used car. This is for the ladies out there. My husband has been taking our vehicles to Marius for about 20 years. I don't really trust auto mechanics. Had a long time issue with my tail/brake lights(2001 BMW X5 3.0). I was told that my LCM was burnt out but no one knew how to reprogram them. I went to Dr Bimmer with no luck; I eve went as far as going to South BMW for help and no one could do anything for me. I took my baby down to Import Euro and they had the job done with in two hours! ****READ THIS**** Ok so here is my experience with this shop, Dealer quoted me to fix my "cam cradle" leak just over $1,000 for that plus extra for some other items that needed to be addressed. I put it off knowing what damage it would to items like water pump etc. Called this place after the leak got very bad and spoke to the owner Marius. He offered to look at my car FOR FREE and give me a full work up. (Keep in mind I knew I had about 4k worth of problems with the vehicle) He assessed my issues and gave me a stellar price to fix the vehicle, him and his techs came out and talked to me pointed out the items on the car that needed to be fixed and kept constant communication with me on what was being done. During the repair other items were found to be faulty which were just labor intensive but sense the vehicle was already apart they did it for FREE. The turn around for the work done took just 4 Days very fast in my experience. Here's where it gets good and separates this shop from any other I've ever worked with. I got my car back drove it for a day and and it was knocking really bad (which happens sometimes when you have major engine work done, even with the dealerships) so I called Marius up and explained the problem I pulled the codes on my pocket scanner and it turned out to be my ignition coils ( no big deal these go bad on these cars often i've replaced them on past model cars) HE actually told me "I will replace them for free because my guys probably dropped them while putting the car back together" . (Guys I've worked in the auto industry almost all my life and never, not even once have I heard a shop manager or owner admit something that they may have done wrong. I was floored) Things happen when you are fixing a machine that takes thousands of parts to operate, I wasn't upset when I called I was willing to pay for the coils but that is just how much of perfectionist Marius and his guys are. I would trust these guys with my children! IF YOU WANT A TRUSTWORTHY SHOP FOR YOUR EURO GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO TALK TO SOMEONE EVERY TIME YOU CALL GO HERE. Great local shop and good people! I googled local hybrid mechanics and to my surprise found this place knows it's stuff about hybrids as well. Took my Prius in since Toyota wanted $4,400 to replace hybrid battery. I was given a couple options to choose from and went with the one that got me back on the road quickest. Replaced the battery for half that and got a warranty. They also replaced a missing windshield wiper that had fell off about a week prior and fixed my key FOB that was kinda coming apart for free so that was cool! Will def be taking the Prius back to them whenever I need something. read more

I met Mariusz a little over a three years ago, when I was looking for a mechanic locally to service my 2001 BMW X5 3.0i. I think I had a little over 200K miles on it at the time. Prior to meeting Mariusz and the Import Euro team, I was driving to Austin to have my car serviced by an incredible mechanic with prices that were at least half of the dealerships prices. Not only were the prices reasonable, they had been voted "the most honest mechanic" by The Austin Chronicle for years. They lived up to that reputation while taking care of my X5. They knew me by name and treated me like family. Unfortunately, driving to Austin to service my X5 became a chore with the traffic on IH-35, so I found Mariusz, who happened to be located across the highway from where I lived. I told Mariusz that I needed to find a mechanic closer to home and share with him about my mechanic in Austin, how much I loved the service and prices there. Mariusz, always positive, honest and upbeat, told me he would take care of it. I believe the repair I needed at that time was to replace a window regulator in the front passenger-side door. I'm still a customer and blessed to have found a good mechanic, just minutes away. The service is equivalent to the service I received in Austin.
