Had my scheduled appt through my insurance company. They were not friendly at all when I arrived to Caliber Collision (Note: all good reviews refer to "Jason") Obviously I didn't encounter Jason. Rather a condescending unsympathetic unprofessional shady individual. Saying "next time call & make sure we have the paperwork". How about next time go to a customer service seminar on behavior. He behaved like a bouncer at a 2 star location. Told me to make another appt & completely disregarded my schedule or concerns. Stating they were "backed up". He Made zero effort to assist with my vehicle even though they clearly have their "xpress" service in which I was scheduled for. Insurance agencies should reconsider this caliber collision location. & Caliber should consider who they have running their office as managers. Terrible customer service. No effort to assist customer. I don't even see a consistent flow of workers. Is this a front shop. Strange atmosphere. The guy acted like a wanna be mob boss. Negative 2 stars if I could. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews however I feel that the management should be aware of the horrible customer service I have experienced so far. When I picked up my car they told that I am all squared away and the insurance will take care of everything. 2 months after picking up my car I get a phone call from Cynthia at the receptionist desk yelling at me and threatening legal action and sending me to collection for not paying the deductible. I told her I wasn't aware I owed anything and that the insurance company was going to take care of everything. I asked her to send me the breakdown and the bill which she did. The bill is not the same as I originally got from them and now it does show a balance due. Regardless I paid the bill within 20 minutes. If there was a mistake on their end and I owed a balance that's not a problem however the way I was treated was unacceptable. Be aware this company has horrible communication and are eager to get into a fight over nothing. Very unprofessional, will never use them again . read more

I brought my car to Thousand Oaks Caliber to have it repaired post collision after having a good experience with Caliber in Santa Clarita. I have been disappointed with the lack of customer service and communication from Fernando during the initial repair. Today, I have confirmed what I suspected- my vehicle was not repaired correctly to begin with. My outer tie rod was replaced but not my inner tie rod. Another shop diagnosed this for me. I was hearing noises that were not there pre-collision and feeling more play in my wheel as well. I am giving this location a chance to make things right even though I am extremely apprehensive to take my vehicle back to this shop knowing they have failed to repair my car correctly the first time. Will be updating upon vehicle completion. The only reason why I am giving them a second chance is because Trenton has been a true gem throughout this process- trying his best to make things right. Just had my daughters car fixed after she did some major structural and paint damage. Christian and team were awesome through the whole process. Car came back literally looking brand new. They kept us constantly updated and handled all the insurance stuff in the background. That experience totally changed the way I think of auto/body shops. Jason was honest in his appraisal of the damage, started the work on the day and time that was scheduled, and even made arrangements for a rental. My husband and I were "rear-ended" in an accident on 1/16/20. Unbeknownst to us, the damage was far more extensive than it initially appeared. Jason, Caliber's representative charged with overseeing the repair of my car--a 2019 Jaguar XJ--explained what needed to be done to return the car to it's original condition, and assured us that he would do his utmost to keep us apprised of the progress along the way. He estimated how long the process would take, and was "spot on". Jason called regularly to give us an up-to-date progress report, and answered any questions patiently and comprehensively. DON'T SEND YOUR CAR HERE. THEY ARE LIARS! My car was in an accident over a week ago. My insurance recommended Caliber Collision on Los Feliz Drive. On that recommendation, I called and spoke with Ana, who works the front, to see if she could take the car. She said the shop had room and they will keep an eye out for the car. The car was then towed and driven to the shop within an hour of the call and during their business hours. The next day I called Caliber to see how long it would take to evaluate/repair the car. Ana told me that she turned my car away because the shop was doing construction and could not take undriveable vehicles (not sure if this is true). She said my car was taken to the Simi Valley Caliber Collision (confirmed lie #1). She said she spoke with my insurance (confirmed lie #2). In speaking with my insurance they do show the body shop called and then hung up. No one from Caliber spoke with my insurance. When I contacted my insurance on Wednesday, they were notified the car had been turned down. As a result and because NO ONE CONTACTED ME to give me the opportunity to send MY VEHICLE to another shop, the tow company took it back to their yard. As a result there has been a pissing match between the tow company and my insurance over a $450 fee charged by the towing company. This finally got resolved today, 9 DAYS LATER. The aggravation and lack of care or service by Ana at Caliber Collision was the catalyst to this completely unnecessary and extremely frustrating situation. Accidents happen, they are traumatizing in their own right. She didn't care about the consequences of her actions and how they impact others during a vulnerable time. I put my initial trust in them as they were recommended by my insurance. Ana is a representative of your business, Caliber - your clients and prospects deserve better. read more

A few weeks ago, our Honda got rear ended. The offending party did not want to work through insurance, so he paid us out of pocket to get the repairs done. Enter Caliber Collision, which our insurance USAA recommend to us. Kenny provided us an estimate, which worked for us financially. The repair process took 3 business days, and Caliber kept us updated of the status of our car via texts. The finished product looked fantastic. They did a decent enough job fixing my 2017 BMW X3, although it did take significantly longer than their first estimate. I did have several issues with the quality - first, a new scratch appeared on the opposite side of what they repaired. Second, they broke an interior child mirror and did not acknowledge that. Worst, though, is that they lost my front license plate and bracket, forcing me to spend hours at the DMV and at the auto supply store to remedy their error. That level of sloppiness doesn't inspire much confidence in their overall level of care. read more

When I dropped my car off I was told it would be done in 3 days. After 4 days the estimate changed to 3 weeks because they had to order more parts. On the 5th day they said the work was done and the car was being put back together. Hmmmm, okay?! After taking 3 more days to put the car back together, I went to pick it up. The paint did not match at all. They kept the car and said it would be repainted and done in 2 more days. That's today. Guess what, it's still not done and they have now painted it 3 times. They now promise to have it done tomorrow. I'll let you know how it turns out... I was referred to this shop by my insurance company "Farmers Insurance". Many shops over promise and under deliver, but that wasn't my experience at Caliber Collision. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a friendly receptionist and staff working the desk. Various snacks and drinks were available, but before I could sit down, I was immediately greeted by a gentleman named Christian. Christian was very patient with us, and took his time explaining everything in detail. At no time did I feel rushed, all my questions were answered, and I left the shop with a great feeling, knowing that my car was in good hands. Christian also made sure all of our needs were met, including rental. He fought with the insurance company on our behalf to make sure everything was covered, including a headlight replacement that the insurance company initially denied. Overall a great experience with Caliber. My car was hit by another driver and their insurance company took care of the damage and picked Caliber to do the repairs. Great choice! I brought the car in on 4/23 and they arranged for Enterprise to pick me up from the shop. The drop off process took 15 minutes and my service manager Jason was very knowledgeable and courteous. The repair was to be completed on 5/3 but I got a call from Jason on 4/30 and was told that the car was done early. He even drove my car to my house the same day and picked up my rental car from me and took it back to Enterprise. Could not have gone smoother! Use this shop if you are in need. read more
