I took my BMW here to get some scratched areas repaired. From the beginning to end of the process it was incredibly simple. I'm still in shock. Jason was amazing. He went through my car in detail and explained everything very thoroughly. He gave me an estimated day that it would be complete but he also was very transparent about how ordering parts may delay this. I was in no rush to get it done. He explained in detail the potential parts and potential delays. He showed a lot of integrity, which made me trust him completely. Scammers, Crooks and Hustlers I am putting a warning out to anyone who may decide to take their car to this unprofessional/crooked establishment. To begin, I only used this company because of the reviews but I now believe that the workers are posing as customers giving good reviews. So sad!!! I dropped off my 2019 Mercedes C 300 on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 around 9:30-9:40 am. My contact person was Wade Griffin. Friendly enough but one of those fast talkers. He needs to be watched! There was damage to my front end bumper (sliced in half from hitting a curb) which the previous body shop I took the car to, informed me that the entire bumper and black edging would need to be replaced. However, damn insurance companies (National General) referred these people!!! Wade Griffin assessed my car and asked personal questions about my license tag meaning while doing so. Ugh!!! Just be professional and tell me about my car! After about 30 minutes or so he tried to assure me that all would be okay and that he would be in touch about the estimated completion date. I received all types of texts informing me of the progress, till finally the day of pick up (April 22nd) I arrived with my husband and the bumper was painted a different color white from the rest of the body of my car. There were also obvious paint inconsistencies as well as trash in the paint coat and scuff marks on what was suppose to be a new bumper!!! Idiots running this place!!! Wade Griffin explained that he did not notice those things at the time and that he would have his guys go back over the work. Okay... I have the benefit of the doubt, even though I know He is a liar! So I trusted Wade to do right but.... he didn't!!! So, I return on Wednesday, April 28th for another review of the shoddy work being performed at this place and the bumper is still not right! Wade Griffin commences to telling my husband that the reason for the work being shoddy was because my 2019 Mercedes was used and painted two different colors!!! People I purchased my car brand new from the Mercedes dealership in 2019 with 0 mileage and perfect paint!!!! It was delivered to my house as a birthday gift from my husband. Mercedes is not painting their cars tow different colors and Wade you need medication if you think your lies or looks convince anyone of anything!!! God is greater than the devil people and this shop is trying to pull some fast moves on people. Don't use these people!!! This man should be fired and never allowed to work in the auto industry! He's a liar and a con artist! Frustrated with the service, my husband and I decided to leave with the car and deal with our insurance company. I haven't driven the car since I picked it up on that Wednesday because I left for Santa Barbara on Thursday but arrived at home today and something told me to look at my car!!!! People do not take your car to Caliber Collision in Westlake! Don't Do It!!! They are scammers and crooks! It's hard to tell with the so called paint repair they did but I posted pictures anyway! This company is playing customers for stupid as if they don't know any better!!! This company tried to mess over the wrong lady!!! I've contacted my lawyer and my insurance company and things are going to move fast because they put a damaged bumper on my Mercedes and painted over the scuff marks and didn't even bother to replace the underlying black edging because they're are still white scuff marks underneath. Crooks and hustlers work at this place!!! Stay far away from these people regardless of what make and model car you have! But if you do decide to do business with these people don't use Wade Griffin!!! He's a scammer and a liar and a con! As of May 1, 2021, I've reported everything to my insurance adjuster, and Caliber Collision's call center gave me the corporate office in Texas! My attorney has briefed as well!!! Given the times we live in and with everything that's going on....DON'T WASTE TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!!! So sad that this company is trying to hustle people!!! BEWARE!!!! DON'T GO HERE!!! 2 great experiences with Joshua and his team here. About a year ago I was rear ended and my insurance sent me here for the repair. They were fast and friendly and repaired everything with Toyota parts. Fast forward to now and my lift gate was having issues opening. I returned and they adjusted a few things, then replaced the lift gate latch when that didn't fix the issue...all free of charge. Not sure how it happened and it was too small to submit to my insurance as it would fall under my deductible of $1,000. I went to Caliber Collision worrying about how much out of pocket it would cost me to get that fixed. I walked in, and when I shared my story with the desk person, Mike (one of the mechanics) was there an offered to check it out. He inspected it, took my keys and the car, returned 30 minutes later with it fixed and did not charge me! Have a deep Door scratch in my car door. I used caliber after being rear ended a couple of years ago and had a positive experience So, I thought I would use them again. I popped by to get a verbal Quote to Determine if it was worth submitting a claim when repairing. Upon entering the office the disinterested staff was underwhelming. I couldn't believe it. Two appraisers, assume, sat at their desks ignoring the receptionist. She asked for my information. I again asked if it was possible for one of them to take look at my car. Neither spoke directly to me. They were 15 feet away. They didn't acknowledge me or her. Finally They really didn't want my business.
