Caliber was recommended by my insurance. I went in and same day they looked at my car and made an appointment for drop off. I was satisfied with the repairs left my car looking great. The staff was also great and helpful. The only thing that I didn't like about my experience was that they took hook retainers out of my trunk and didn't put them back. I contacted the shop and they said they would look if they can't find them they would order them. I still haven't heard back. One of my doors that was repaired has lights on the handles. The lights turn on at night when the car senses it's dark. I didn't notice because I picked up my car during the day and I overlooked it. I don't usually sit in the back of my car and it was only brought to my attention by a passenger. I'm sure it was just a cable that wasn't connected because they did had to remove the door. Over all this is a good shop but I had to give it 3 stars because of my experience. The door light isn't a very big deal but the part where I communicated with the company and they said they would get back to me and never did. read more

Driving home from Santa Barbra, where I go to college, I hit an object on the freeway damaging the front end of my car. Called a few shops in the area but couldn't get assistance from anyone, but when I called Caliber Ventura, the manager Henry, answer the phone and politely guided me through the process of calling my insurance company and getting my car scheduled for repair. Got my Honda back and it looks brand new, I am so thankful that Henry answered the phone when nobody else would help me. Highly recommended. Took the car to the Long Beach location after an accident. (Where I used to live) and they did an excellent job. Then moved to Ventura when i noticed the high beam wasn't working on one of the headlights that they had to replace. Went to the Ventura location and got it fixed within an hour. Calibur caught my car on fire during the repair process. Then they tried to conceal the damage and give me a low ball estimate to "restore" my vehicle. I had thousands of dollars more damage to my car than they admitted. Then they tried to bully me into paying for work that was allegedly completed and burnt in the fire they caused. Gildardo the manager lied to my face about having done work that he had not even started. In my opinion Caliber is run by crooks. The California Attorney General sued Caliber Collision for $50 million for fraud including representing on invoices and final bills that specific services were rendered, and demanding and accepting payment for those services, when Caliber did not perform those services; willfully departing from or disregarding accepted trade standards for good and workmanlike repair; invoicing and accepting payment from consumers and/or their insurance companies for goods and/or services that were not provided or performed; using rebuilt, used or reconditioned parts and saying they were new .... and the list goes on. Over 40 percent of the repairs done by Caliber were found by the Bureau of Automotive Repair to involve fraud. Best service ever. I brought in my car after a box fell on it in the garage and had a tiny dent with some scrapes and gouges. The manager, Sergio, was able to buff the scratches out and smooth the gouge on the hood. He did it all out of kindness without a second thought. He saved me a ton of time, money, and headaches. He went out of his way to save myself money and gained none for himself. Other auto body shops quoted me over a grand to repair. Highly recommend this auto body shop. Very dishonest. Non-communicative. Lousy service. I am a 79 year old woman who felt like I was ignored and disrespected. They seemed to be possibly working an elder abuse scam with Enterprise Rent-a-Car. They told me in person my Lexus would be done 11/12/21; was not done until 11/19/21. They called on the 19th at 5:25 pm to inform me the car was ready for pick-up. Caliber did not seem to realize I live an hour away. I was leaving to go out of town for my son's wedding from 11/20/21 - 11/27/21. Hence, I picked the car up on 11/29/21. Inadequate repairs: I called two days later to tell them my ABS brake light was still on, my tire rotation was not done properly, and the wheel key lock was stolen by them. Manager of Caliber Collision said he would send me one and never did. This was the only call from them during the entire repair process. Due to my dissatisfaction I took my car for further repairs to Lexus of Oxnard. read more

These guys are amazing. I've never received such wonderful costumer service from anywhere before. My truck was parked and somehow managed to get hit costing over $1,500.00 in damages. Nile and Edgar took care of me right from the start. They were extremely accomidating and made the whole thing incredibly easy. I had never been in the situation before and didn't know what to expect but it was great. When I dropped my truck off for repair they have everything ready for me and called the rental car company to have me picked up. They explained everything and I was able to meet both of them that morning as they assured my truck was in good hands. I recieved follow up phone calls from them twice to update me on the status of my vehicle. I was told I would be called on Tuesdays and Thursdays and like clockwork, i was. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and I was walked through the process of how the repairs would be taking place. At no point was I concered about whether or not my truck was being taken care of or not. I fully trusted this place. When I picked up my truck, she was so beautiful---even looked better than before it was hit --- they were able to take care of a couple minor defects for me (paint chips, scratched light) and I couldn't be happier. We moved to SoCal with a Lexus IS that had been damaged in NJ right before we moved. Allstate recommended Caliber to us an we are glad they did. Nile, Edgar, and Fernando were extremely courteous and understanding and communicated to us throughout the process. We got our car back the next week, right on time, and it looked like new. There was only 1 blip in the process as the bottom of the grill had a slight damage but it was not an issue as they ordered a new one and replaced it. This was the best repair shop EVER! I was pretty bummed that my new van was hit and was not in the best mood about it but went to Caliber Collision after the insurance rep recommended them. First of all, my husband was out of town the week I decided to get the car fixed and Caliber made it so easy to do! I showed up with my 2 young boys and they were more than helpful to occupy the boys for me while discussing the repairs. My boys are tough too. Young and super attached but these guys were so nice and helpful and they even played hot wheels with my boys so I could get everything taken care of. And then to expedite the repairs they offered a free rental car for 3 days! Amazing!!! Their work is guaranteed for the remainder of me owning the van and it looks amazing. Like new again. And if they weren't helpful enough they cleaned out the inside of my van for me. Customer service like this is a true delight. Especially when you're dealing with repairing your car. I went to Caliber Collision to have my drivers side door fixed after an accident with a huge metal thing flying off a truck. I cannot tell you haw comfortable Fernando and the rest of the staff made me feel. They walked me through every step, called to update me on the status and assisted with a rental car. Very poor job painting my front bumper. Paint is peeling off. They refuse to fix the problem. Very disappointed. First they use an aftermarket bumper, and they either not prepare the bumper properly or use the wrong paint, and now they are blaming the bumper manufacturer for using low quality materials. read more

This was a terrific experience. It took me months to take my car in to be have my bumper replaced and painted. It took one day for Caliber of Ventura to fix the car, deliver it to be serviced at the dealership --- and then they somehow had it detailed and ready for me that very same evening. When I picked up the car, there were no more of those parking lot and road rock marks anywhere to be found. I am so excited, it's like having a new car all over again. The service was beyond my expectations and very professional. I felt as though I was the most special person that ever walked though the doors. Best service I ever had hands down. Another drive back into my car about a week ago, JUST bought the dang thing too. I use USAA insurance and they sent me to Caliber in Santa Barbara, SB didn't have the parts needed so they took it down here to Ventura to get it fixed up. I have to say, best service ever. I got a text EVERY DAY telling me the status, Nate (SB office) and Kenny (Ventura office) were awesome. They called to check in with me often, addressed all my concerns and then there was the car. My car came back looking better than when I first bought it. Beautiful work, just artisan level craft for the plastic molding they repaired.
