Who can argue with complimentary cinnamon rolls for breakfast, servings the size of Texas and great service and atmosphere? I like the eclectic decorations, especially the huge street lights. Kelly did a great job of serving us. Not fast food and not fancy, but if you like a homemade and hearty breakfast in a country atmosphere and you are not in a hurry, this is the place for you.

We stopped here on our way home from Little Rock to Roger's and we were not disappointed. The complimentary cinnamon rolls to start the meal were delicious and warm. I had the lite portion of the hamburger steak with squash and fried okra. Perfect size and seasoned very well. The sides were delicious. My boyfriend had the burger. It's massive and was great. The fries were excellent and definitely handcut. Good quick service and very appropriate country decor. Nothing fancy but great food and reasonably priced.

Calico never disappoints when it comes to their breakfast menu, the fresh cinnamon rolls are so delicious and soft they melt in your mouth....The biscuits and gravy is so on point I always look forward to eating here whenever I come to Fort Smith

What else could to want for breakfast? Just keep bringing those cinnamon rolls. Rustic décor, exceptional service and country cooking. My usual breakfast, perfectly prepared. The picture describes it. The cinnamon rolls are the hook here. They are fresh and hot. The restaurant operates like a savvy drug dealer. A couple of free hits with your meal, to get you wanting more. Several dozens of those cinnamon laced pastry swirls, left with newly addicted patrons. This is my second time to have breakfast at Calico County. Possibly the best breakfast in Ft. Smith.

Super warm and cozy in here! Got here really early in the morning so barely any people in. service was fast. They serve warm cinnamon rolls they're complementary. Their biscuits and gravy were good. I had it with some sausage. biscuits fluffy in the inside. My only concern is that I was not a big fan of the gravy itself. Could've of been more hot and a little more seasonings. Now the sausage was super good, loved it. Next dish was the fruit waffle, as basic as it can get. Fruit on top with whip cream. Our waitress was super nice. I'd love to try more off their menu in the future.

On a road trip from California. We had the grilled pork chops and catfish special with cobblers, fried okra and black eyed peas. The ambience was great, the service outstanding and the food was delicious. Definitely worth a return visit.

Vegetable plate, a Monday night special.

Yummy Comfort food! Decent prices! You MUST have the Fried Green Tomatoes. You can even choose lighter options for a reduced price!

Service was incredibly slow and the restaurant was not busy. Food was not great and portions were small. Would not recommend.

The devils of mayhem; diced onions and sliced jalapenos patiently wait and watch over the serene harmony, prepared to bring turmoil at the first opportunity. That was a satirical description of a meal called the "Soul Bowl." It can be found on Eunice's menu under Local Favorites. Bless her heart for coming up with this concoction! If you know what I mean. A filling bowl of food. My wife regretted it. Check the picture. Meanwhile back at the ranch....I played it safe, with an order of chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes, all covered with cream gravy. For my side I had a lightly seasoned cucumber salad. This was a very good meal. The name Eunice's Country Cookin' describes the diner well. A menu of American diner food staples, daily specials and those delicious home-made pies. Inside, tables and uncomfortable metal chairs are scattered across the large open dining area. Seat yourself. Someone will be with you quickly. Great friendly service. Well established and loved; the restaurant and most of its customers have been around for a long time.

I ordered the 3 cheese sausage but they gave me the jalapeno/pineapple instead. I got all of this to go so I didn't notice until I got to my destination. It was really good though even if not my first choice. Baked beans are phenomenal! Smoky, meaty, sweet, peppers. So good - maybe best I've had anywhere. Mac n cheese was seriously lacking flavor. Didn't taste like cheese - just pasta. Needed some seasoning and maybe a smoked cheese or something for more flavor. I would NOT get it again. Green beans had good flavor but was season-less as well. Potato salad was good - mayo based. Bread was just toast - no butter or seasoning. Little frustrated with the service to go. I ordered a few different sauces to try but they just threw them all in the bag and I didn't know what was what. Colors were the same too so I couldn't tell. Would be nice to get some moist towelettes or something in the to go bags too. Ordered to go this time but I've eaten inside before. Restaurant always looks clean and well maintained. Family friendly. Modernish bbq look. Nicely done. Workers are nice and helpful.

First worst experience I've had here…read more They have a new salad on the menu and we tried it (don't do it!) - spinach, strawberry, almond, (goat cheese?), and poppy seed dressing - ODD COMBO OF FLAVORS THAT DIDNT MESH... plus we had a fly in the dressing. There were two ladies at the front podium by the door who seemed to be doing nothing while standing at the podium (they don't seat you there - you sit where you want) - we had a question and motioned them over - they acted odd/bothered and were not really engaging and seemed to lack common social skills - not to mention lacking customer service skills. They leaned all over the podium, slouching and with their hands on their chins acting like they were bored out of their minds and had no clue what to do at their "post." It was the oddest experience we've ever had there. I really just cannot get over how unprofessional and seemingly clueless these ladies were about what their job was. I can only suppose they were to be friendly, engaging, helpful and welcoming hosts to diners. They missed the mark - they were not even anywhere near the target.
