I am eating dairy-free currently (unfortunately) and I was able to call ahead and figure out how to order to make sure I could avoid dairy. For anyone else who is wondering, the crust is dairy free and they have a dairy free, nut free cheese option that is easily added when ordering online for a group. My boyfriend had heard great things about Calientes so we wanted to give them a try.... we were very disappointed. For $26 I expected way more toppings for a Gluten Free Pizza. I liked the crispy crust but the lack of toppings was HIGHLY disatisfying. I do like that they used fresh mushrooms and onions but seriously needed way more to compensate the cost of $3 per topping... I won't be ordering again. It's not cost effective at all. The delivery driver was nice though and the place on the inside I'm assuming is relatively nice havent been inside to really determine but the delivery fee was $3.95 so do be aware it could have been more so at least there is that. If I would come back the prices need to be better for people who can't have gluten... $26 is insane for a 2 topping 8 slice Gluten Free Pizza and they would need to provide more toppings as you can see there is 2 slices with no toppings at all.... let's do better especially in these times of inflation. read more

Castle Shannon location: It has the quality & taste of a local place whose sole purpose is to feed drunk people late night. It has the price tag of a great place..however it's quality is a dive pizza joint. The dough is tough & wet, and doesn't have any specific flavor, it is simply bland dough. The sauce and cheese tastes are decent but nothing special. Sweet sauce but that's more a matter of preference to someone. Its just meh pizza but price doesn't match quality or taste. It was thick in places, undercooked, wet. Very disappointed for a 22$ large pizza (cheese and half sauage). So after an hour and 45 min we called and were told that they only had 1 driver and it would be there in 5 min. After 2 hours and 5 minutes it finally arrived at almost 9pm. The manager gave me the option of 50% off or a credit for the full amount on the next order. I opted for the 50% off because I was pretty sure at this point I would never order from this place again anytime soon. The pizza showed up cold and hard as a rock like it sat out all night. Needless to say I will never patronize this establishment ever again. Food sucks and so does the management. Hello, I am writing regarding an online order I placed today at 10:45 AM for delivery to my workplace around noon. The order was prepaid, including a driver tip. When I checked with my workplace at approximately 1:15 PM, I was informed that the food never arrived. I then called the store and was told that the food had been ready since 11:45 AM but was waiting for a DoorDash driver because your in-house driver was unavailable. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of communication. At no point was I contacted to let me know there would be a delay or that a third-party driver was being used. Had I been informed, I could have made alternate arrangements. Ordering well in advance should reasonably come with timely delivery or at least a courtesy update when issues arise. Just got our order from this place and I can't be more disappointed. My wife ordered dinner for the Steelers game and I was really looking forward to it. First, ordered 4 garlic sauces for our pizza and 2 blue cheese dressings for the wings. We got ZERO of both. I can't eat hot wings without blue cheese. That's why we ordered it. Now to the actual food. I can't comment on the wings because I can't eat them without blue cheese. My wife did eat hers and said they have absolutely no flavor. I haven't been this disappointed with a food order in a long time. How about you treat each order like it means something instead of just pushing them out so fast just to make more money. I'm honestly very surprised to see the poor reviews here! We came in today for lunch and were seated quickly, but I do see how the front host stand could possibly be an issue at a busier time as it's small and there was not a dedicated host/hostess. The restaurant is pretty dimly lit and unassuming, and has a bit of a Cheers turned restaurant feel. We were lucky to have an attentive and sweet waitress who made sure to check on us and was never far from reach if we needed anything. As for the food, we got the Godzilla pizza, the buffalo chicken rolls, and the kid's cheese pizza which came with a little side salad. The pizza had just the right amount of everything and was pretty darn good. Our daughter only ate one slice of her pizza but upon leaving she said it was great and she can't wait to come back again. The buffalo chicken rolls needed a little more stuffing but were tasty. I also can't forget to mention the awesome beer list! I'd give this place only one star for customer service but their food is so delicious that I'm bumping them to a 3. We went on Wednesday night and literally stood at the hostess stand for 7-8 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. Then there was a 40 minute wait even though we could see empty tables. We ordered the Pineapple Express and it was sooooo good. Our waitress was busy but attentive. She did forget our son's dough ball that came with his kids meal. We didn't end up mentioning it because she seemed busy. While I don't think any pizza is really worth over $30, my fiancé enjoyed it. I really liked the white pizza I had, and their ranch dressing is amazing, too. We ordered two pizzas, cheese fries, wings and a two liter of pop. We sent a friend to pick up the order on the way because delivery would have been over an hour (rather unacceptable on a Wednesday) The pizza was ok, but on the cold side. The wings arrived with barely any sauce on them. The cheese fries were cold and also had very little cheese. They didn't tell the person picking up to grab the soda out of the cooler. We called them to see if they could deliver fresh wings and fries as well as the missing soda, and the person on the phone reluctantly agreed. The girl answering the phone told me they normally don't deliver, but they could try their best if their driver was around. We waited nearly an hour an a half, and finally got sauces dropped on the front door. No wings, no fries, and no drink. I tried to flag down the delivery driver and he drove off causing me to fall and get hurt. We called back and after being hung up on, in addition to having a disagreement with the manager, they offered only 10% off the order. After some discussion, they agreed to take off the wings and the pop. (Total of the wings and pop was $25, 10% off was $6) It was very disappointing and we are not planning on returning even though the pizza is usually fairly good. read more
