Chicken quality is consistently moist and flavorful, which is HUGE, and the service and staff are always friendly and efficient. CCC pretty much got us through pandemic lockdown, and it's still one of our main go-to to-go's when no one wants to cook. The chicken wraps are always well put together with crisp fresh vegetables. I had a Caesar wrap and my partner had a ranch wrap. We split them and I ate my entire half of the ranch before we discovered a cup of ranch at the bottom of his half. My company catered this for lunch one time, and since then, I've been hooked! I now make it a point to stop by one every time I'm in LA. I've tried the wraps from work before, and I really like them. They also seem to be a favorite with everyone I've talked to about this place. Personally, I love the chicken more. The chicken is so juicy and fresh. My go to is the kids' meal with two legs and a chocolate chip cookie. The broccoli pasta salad is also a must! Since Covid, none of the locations allow for dine in, but you can eat in the parking lot in your car. The parking lot is also only available for pickup, or eating in the car. THIS BUSINESS IS NO LONGER RELIABLE. The last time I got food from GrubHub at the Venice location, the food was so poorly prepared that I threw it out. i left a Yelp review and the mgr texted me that she was giving me $15 credit. Well, that was nice. Then she told me that I had to sign up again because they had changed their website. So I went through all that and entered all my info again and signed onto their new website. Today after a doctor's appointment, I went out of my way 1/2 hour and drove to the Santa Monica location, which is usually the only location where the food seems well prepared. Before driving there, I spent 10 minutes deciding what I wanted and ordered takeout on the (new) website. When I got to the checkout section, THERE WAS NO SIGN IN LINK! So I backed out and started all over again putting in my order. Same thing. I could not sign in and I could not put in my order. I drove to the location to see what I could do. Their setup is usually very convenient: They have a back parking lot with numbered spaces. You pull into a numbered space and they bring out your food. The parking lot is usually mobbed with cars. It was around 4:00 p.m., and usually their back parking lot is full with people waiting to pick up their order. There was not a single car in the parking lot. I drove up to the employee standing at the entrance to the parking lot and told him my predicament. He said, "Yeah, everyone's been saying they can't sign in." ?????? So I asked him what I could do. He said I would have to drive around to the front and order at the window. Ordering at the window means driving onto Wilshire Blvd (a VERY crowded main blvd, with non existent parking) and try to find a parking place and then walk back to the window. Not going to do it. So I told him I was going to give them a bad review on Yelp and I left. BOGUS BOGUS B OGUS. Isn't this your business? Aren't you professionals? You initiate a new website, make everyone go through signinig up again, AND THEN YOU FORGET TO PUT A SIGN IN LINK ??????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I had already driven out of my way and getting home took me an extra 45 minutes IN BUMPER TO BUMPER RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. And once I got home, WE HAD NO DINNER!!!!!! This is absolutely UNFORGIVABLE. As a true Northern Californian, I have to admit I had never been to this popular SoCal chain even though it's been around since 1991 and serves my personal weakness, rotisserie chicken. Now there are ten of them across Hollywood, Santa Monica, Downtown, and the Valley, so on our most recent trip down south, Jamie W. and I knew we needed to fit in a meal at one. The Wilshire Blvd location appeared convenient because we just finished our Malibu sojourn and drove due east. This part of Santa Monica is full of upscale markets, buzzy eateries, and trendy businesses. There's even a mural of Anthony Bourdain where you can pose for selfies. The cafe itself was still in full pandemic mode as they weren't offering indoor dining, so we had to make a couple of fast menu selections on our feet and figure out where we were going to eat the food. We knew we were ordering salads since we had already indulged in the white chocolate coconut cake at Doan's Bakery that morning. Penance, don't you know? The young server was very helpful with our order and suggested we walk over to Douglas Park to snatch a picnic table over there. That turned out to be a brilliant suggestion because they had an open table right next to the duck pond. Jamie had decided on the $13.50 BBQ Chicken Salad, quite a hearty mix of BBQ chicken, avocado, black beans, roasted corn, jack cheese, red peppers, lettuce, and pita croutons with their rich BBQ ranch dressing on the side (photo: https://bit.ly/3tlA8SS).
