    Seafood Platter
    William H.

I went to this place and I had no clue what is was. It's a Mexican seafood joint. I forgot to take a picture of the menu but my friends ate the food there as well as I and we'd say the food isn't bad. They ordered a seafood platter with all kinds of food on there. I just ate some fish tacos and they were really good....so I'd recommend the tacos. I took a picture of the platter. Again they said the platter seafood was good. I didn't touch it.

We came on a weekend. It was a little loud because there was a band playing live. Service was good the girl who took our order was very polite and was able to answer some questions Food definitely was good I really loved the ceviche mix The camarones a la diabla were okay I needed more spicy but that's just me. And the pescado zarandeado was Huge!! Even though it was the "small" ones lol it took at least 20+min to cook (they do warn you it takes time and it's also on the menu) great flavor on that fish. Overall it was good we definitely will be back to try other dishes

Service is ok. But the food wow. I thought it was nice piping hot and yummy. I personally think the empanadas were the best. Very rare to find a place that does seafood empanadas . The seafood in the pineapple was more sweet than anything else but it was for sure a fun different style of dish. Careful when you it, it's holds heat very well. I even love how they use the core of the pineapple has holders for the pineapple

This is a new place in Renton that keeps popping up on my yelp feed so I decided to check them out! Looking through the menu I was super excited as they are focus on seafood rather than the traditional mexican cuisine. The food: Large order of fish and shrimp ceviche - super fresh, very flavorful - huge portion Pescado Zarandeado - huge grilled fish, came with salad and rice and corn tortillas and green sauce. Super flavorful, love the green sauce and love the grilled marks on the fish. Unnecessary accompaniment: chowder crackers??? Not sure what it's for and why we got so many since chips were also provided. Siracha mayo sauce??? Not sure what this is for as well. The food alone would have been a 5 star, but I do have to knock them down a star for the music being so loud that you literally have to be 4-5 inch from them to talk and listen. I placed my order via phone and the waitress had to go somewhere else to hear what I was saying...

The ambiance was great. They had a group in there playing songs for 35 dollars a song a piece!! That was crazy!! The food was not so good as last year that my family and I went. I think they changed cook cause it was very sloppy and everything tasted the same from the salsa from the chips to the salsa verde from the aguachile. The camarones al mojo did not even taste like mojo de ajo. The mejillones was made with the same sauce as the morcajete. We were very disappointed.

This spot is really good. The Mariscos taste fresh and always hits the spot! I've been coming here for a while now, since moving to Seattle.

Definitely a place to go to get an unusual dish....ceviche tower...waitresses were very friendly...only problem was the music was too loud...had to shout to talk to my hubby

Pros: Langoustin sauce is very delicious!! Service was amazing. They have a variety of liquor at the bar and the establishment is very clean! Cons: Mussels stayed in the broiler too long - making it dry. Camerones al mojo de ajo is okay, but the rice was a complete curve ball for us! It's uncle Ben's rice with veggies. We were NOT expecting that at all! However, I will say....I'd rather they splurge on the seafood than the rice, so I don't mind it. Expectations: Shared parking with nearby business. Booming mexican music - we loved it!

    La charola

Ok so we took my in laws here for dinner and ordered the super charola, loads of micheladas and of course the empanadas. To say that we left absolutely no crumbs would be an understatement. Our family absolutely loved it! They raved about the diablo or some spicy sauce and the rice, which caught us out of left field. Definitely a favorite for sure!

HIDDEN GEM! I have never seen so much seafood in a Mexican restaurant since Miami. It's almost overwhelming, it's hard not to try multiple things. Decided to stop in to see what the hype is about and I must say they have some good drinking food. Onto the food, as expected it will be a little bit pricer but totally worth it in my opinion. I love how they start you off with ceviche, and I believe it's made with fish. Everything we ordered was super flavorful & loaded! My favorite was the Langostinos & ceviche tower (check photos attached). The Langostinos had such a nice flavor with soooo much garlic. Service was great! Most likely will be coming here to drink & eat delicious food, must try.

This place is in the same area as the now-defunct Roman Casino and shares its parking lot in the Skyway Park Shopping Center. It's a bar setting inside so it gets loud and it's pretty dark too except for the strobelights that get in your eyes. There is bar seating and also a ton of tables that can seat large groups. Menu consists of a lot of regular dishes in Vietnamese cuisine along with two pages of speciality items, though there were a handful of dishes that weren't available when we asked (com ga nuong/grilled chicken with rice and baby clams with rice crackers to name a few). I got their com suon bo (grilled beef short ribs with rice) and my friend got their regular pho tai while also splitting some grilled squid with chili salt, though all of these took a total of 40 or so minutes to come out despite the restaurant not being a full house. I was probably pretty hungry, so the wait was actually worth it for our food. The grilled beef was the right kind of flavorful and pulled off the bone easily without having to use a knife, and the grilled squid was really salty but didn't have that seafoody aftertaste and the chili brought out a lot of flavor from it. Prices for these dishes are relatively decent. Open karaoke went off and what looked like a live band started playing close to 8:30pm. My friend had a great time singing his heart out during the open karaoke session, and people started cueing the songs they wanted using pencil and paper. This place uses YouTube to find karaoke versions of the songs you choose. My friend's mic sometimes cut off, and he also noted timing was off too in some occasions. Come for the food, stay for the late-night karaoke sessions because this place closes at 1:30am according to their menu!

I was pretty skeptical about this place, especially because it looks like a a bar from the pictures on Yelp, and I have been to multiple places that look similar, and were abysmal. Decided to take a chance and give this place a visit. There is a good amount of parking outside the place, and it is not the most obvious looking restaurant. Once you find it, it is a large room that looks like a bar in the distance and plenty of seating in the periphery of the building. There was one server who was stretched thin in terms of tasks, so it was not always easy getting their attention without walking up to the bar. Despite that, service was friendly and nothing to complain about. The food selection is what you would find at most Ethiopian places including Tibs, Kifto, Wats (including Doro Wat), and multiple different meat and vegetarian combos. I decided to get raw kitfo, because I drool at places that make this dish. Not only was it spicy like I wanted, the seasoning and flavour is actually one of the best I have ever had. Literally, one of the top places I have ever had Kitfo in my life, and I have been to many Ethiopian restaurants. Prices are about $25-$35 per person, so I it is definitely not on the cheaper side. Dishes are served with teff flour-made injera which you use to scoop up food and melt in all of its glory. Give this place a visit

Huge shoutout to our server for being patient and guiding us through the menu. Trying injera for the first time was a highlight, and the Ethiopian coffee was especially cool: served in a beautiful pot, with a small station where they roast the beans and prepare it fresh. Parking is a bit tricky, but the space is large, lively, and great for groups, with a bar and an event-friendly layout. Fun, flavorful, and memorable - would absolutely come back.

I'd been here before while bowling but had forgotten how nice the sports bar and dining area really are. The bar itself is a great setup for watching games--plenty of tables, bar-top seating, and comfortable spots to sit. There's a solid selection of beers on tap along with a full bar for cocktails. The TV setup behind the bar is awesome, with multiple large screens streaming different games at once, exactly what you want in a sports bar. The dining area has even more TVs and feels like an extension of the bar, but still family-friendly. The menu offers a good mix of specialty drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), appetizers, and classic bar food like burgers, tacos, wings, pizza, and more. You can even order online if you don't want to wait, but we were taken care of by a very pleasant and helpful waitress. We ordered the nachos, fish tacos, and wings. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. The nachos were generously loaded with white cheese, ground beef, and jalapeños. The fish tacos were filled with ahi and topped with a sweet salsa that worked really well together. The boneless buffalo wings were plentiful, flavorful, and had just the right amount of heat, served with a side of fries. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here--less crowded, comfortable, clean restrooms, good food, and a fun crowd to watch the game with. This just might become my go-to sports bar.
