I would like to give a big shout out to Ana and Cristina for helping me and my sister on her cat's grooming and boarding here. We had a tough situation, but they pulled through to help us. They really showed they cared and were professional, patient, and accommodating about the situation we had for my sister's cat. I told myself I would write a good review after our big experience there. Since then, we have a new groomer and boarding place for Meowth the cat. You guys rock! The facility from the outside looks small, but it's a big place with so many different rooms, storage, and playhouse for the cats. The place definitely lives to its name! read more

This is just a review for grooming and I cannot say enough nice things about my experience with California Cat Center and the woman that helped me, Ana. Ana was beyond helpful helping me navigate fleas on my cat and how to remedy them at home. She gave my cat a lions cut which is actually adorable. She gave me excellent advice and spoke to me on the phone several times. The price for the grooming was really fair and like I said, my cat looks so cute! I will definitely be back in the future. read more

I have two longhaired cats that I always bring here for grooming. The groomers here are gentle and professional. It's a bit pricy with each cat averaging $100 in complete nail trim, haircut, cleaning services but it's well worth it. I've tried other places but they don't do as well as California Cat Center. read more

The staff is awesome. It was easy to reach them as they picked up the phone 99% of the time and is flexible in accomodating me for my cat's grooming. Although I have yet to see how they groom my cat, pending vaccine update, I was pleased to be referred by them to LA Camp for my cats vaccinations. I will update my review after my cat's first grooming session with them. read more

Oh, how we loved this place! And every person we dealt with was amazing! But apparently "change of management" happened and now you need to provide a full vet exam or have a full list of vaccinations in order to shave your cat's butt. But how convenient, they also own a vet clinic. So we found a new place. I've been bringing my cat there for 5 years, 3-4 times a year to wash, trim, shave etc but new owners care less about anything but money. All new ppl at the center. Also, prior to leaving this review, I called their manager and gave them a chance to make it right, they did not bother. Beware pet owners: if you don't want to deal with B S - avoid this place. read more

This is a 5 star experience. The ladies on staff understand kitties and alot of care is shown in the way they treated my cat and all the babies staying there. They went out of their way to give me a tour and I felt really comfortable having my cat groomed there and will definitely board with them in the future. I brought my two 5 year old cats in for lion cuts, which includes nail trimming on all four paws. My tortie came home with bloody & shattered nails. Her nails were trimmed way too far down and her quicks were cut with no regard for her comfort. She has been limping around the house and is having difficulty jumping onto low surfaces. I am very disappointed and will not be bringing my girls back here. Please beware of this business for nail trims. Their lion cuts were well done but their disregard for my cat's comfort is outrageous and we will not be returning. read more

I love this place. The woman who's the head groomer is absolutely lovely. We always feel like our cat is in excellent hands (for grooming) and she comes back sooooo clean. And I feel like the price is absolutely unbeatable. So if your cat needs a bath (flea or otherwise) this is the place to take them. read more

We just returned from a 3 week trip and reluctantly left our 6 month old kitten with them. The facility is awesome with many climbing trees and spaces and they could not have been kinder about sending us photos and keeping me up on his progress. When we picked him up, the staff was so sweet about saying goodbye that I knew I had put him in a place that is not only caring but loving as well. I can't recommend them more highly!! read more

Greetings all, I continue to take my cat here when I travel. Particularly lately, because of long-distance travel. They are so wonderful. They're so attentive and kind and really do have such a heart for cats. I can't recommend this place enough. I believe I've been using this place for almost 6 years. I have been a very happy customer for the last apprx 4 years. My cat is a long hair Maine Coon/ Norwegian Forest type breed rescue that didn't receive grooming 101 from Mom so he always struggled with his self grooming having so much fluff! I appreciate and feel very safe knowing they follow the industry standard of requiring all cats have rabies shot/ vaccine credentials for the safety of the staff and all our fur babies that visit! I have tried to groom my fur baby and of course he just isn't having it 80% of the time. I needed help big time after a few incidents of dingleberrys! Devon is AMAZING! Seriously a miracle worker. I drive all the way down from the Antelope Valley to get my cat a kitten clip, (focusing on a sanitary trim) wash and nail trim every 3-4 months. MAJOR LIFE IMPROVEMENT FOR BOTH OF US! I have tried other Cat /Dog focused mixed grooming facilities and my poor cat just can't handle the stress, he has peed during the visits there, hides for hours once home and generally anxious for prolonged periods after. I believe its the close proximity to dogs that is the stress inducer, as expected. However, here it is an absolutely night and day difference in his mood after the groom at this cat only facility. Absolutely worth the long drive for the peace of mind knowing he is well cared for and comes out looking great! No more stress induced behaviors and he is happy as a clam and his normal self as soon as we get home, Even more energetic with all that heavy fluff gone! Thank you! I honestly don't know what I would do without this service! read more

I could not ask for a better place for my pets than the California Cat Center. The staff are amongst the kindest people I've ever met. When I first brought my cats in, they made sure that everyone was comfortable and settled before I even left the building. They are not shy about allowing owners to go to the back to help put their kitties into their respective temporary hotels. The cages are more like mini condos and a full room is also available for rent if you would like your kitties to have extra space. The cats get plenty of enrichment while they are there. There are cages with Canaries throughout the facility for the kitties to watch. They also get playtime outside of their cages. Throughout their stay, I received emails with pictures and updates about my cats, which was a very nice surprise. I felt secure in knowing that there was a veterinarian on call in case of an emergency. On a more personal note, when one of my kitties passed away of old age I felt comfortable enough to let the California Cat Center know. They were heartbroken and sent us a sympathy card even before my own veterinarian did. They remember my kitties and get to know their little personalities. They aren't just a place for your kitties to stay while you're away. They are a home away from home with people that actually care. So far, I have boarded my cats with the California Cat Center a total of four times, with a planned stay at the end of this July. read more

We will never not come to California Cat Center. We have been a cat family for almost 5 years now and have been a CCC family for almost that entire time as well. The only reason its not 5 years is because we hadn't heard of them, until my nephew cat Cyder went there. Everytime my Stevie Nicks and Stellaluna go there, they come back so relaxed and sleep all night. Which tells me three things: they're either magicians, my cats were pampered out of their little minds or both. They always remember us when we call which feels incredibly special and keeps us coming back. I love how sweet they are upon greeting my furry babies. Today however- wow, they made an effort to get our girls in because it was my littlest cat's 2nd birthday and WENT ABOVE and BEYOND by wishing her a happy birthday when she arrived! It was so personal and sweet. This is such a great place for your feline family members, you're crazy to go elsewhere! read more

Do not take your cats here! When I boarded my 2 cats for 3 days/2nights I left 3 days worth of food; when I picked them up I was given back 2 days worth of food? When I asked why they didnt feed my cats their reasoning was they "wouldnt eat". But they didnt offer them fresh food the 2nd & 3rd day so how would they know they would refuse to eat? Instead they left the same dried bowl of wet food in their cage for 3 days. When I dropped off my cats I was told to pick them up before 4pm, yet when I showed up they tried to claim I needed to pay an additional day since I showed up after 10am? This was never explained when I dropped the cats off, and when I called the same morning asking when the latest I could get them again no one mentioned there would be an additional charge for picking them up after 10am. When Ive taken my cats to be groomed Ive specifically requested they muzzle one as shes not friendly, the staff repeatedly chooses not to muzzle her. My cat did bite 1 employee once, but that same employee chose to continue grooming her every other time without a muzzle & claimed she had bonded with the cat. But today she told me a different story when refusing to take my cat for a scheduled appointment, she claimed now my cat has always bit her & they refuse to see her without up to date vaccines. That's completely fair, but the vaccine records are at my house, so my question is why not tell me I needed to bring them when I called & made the appointment? The receptionist pulled up our records over the phone when I made the appointment, yet there was no mention of out of date vaccines? I obviously would have brought them if I had known they were needed, but poor communication between employees seems common here. So I forced my cat in a carrier & on a car ride for nothing. Top this off with their constant raising of prices! $95 to trim my smaller cat's hair, no style or specific cut I just wanted it trimmed. But it was $85 for a lions cut, where way more hair is cut off & its a complicated style? I believe the original owners have moved on & put someone new in charge. Its obvious their new goal is profit over affordable & friendly service. read more

I have been looking to get my cats groomed and a lion cut. But with the mandatory shutdowns due to covid-19 I have had to wait. The place where I use to take Them are closed until the end of July. But after a lot of searching I found this wonderful place. I called Thursday at almost closing time. Left a voicemail as they didn't answer. Got a call back Friday morning at 8 and they gave me a appointment same morning at 11. The whole experience was pleasant. I drove to the place and the young lady came to my car and took them in and back out when they were ready. The lady was very nice and i felt comfortable leaving my cats with her. Even gave us some treats and toys for my cats. The price was very decent. Looking forward to bring them back again. read more

We started with 10 condos and a dream to serve Los Angeles area cats with simply the best boarding experience ever. Now, we have more than 5,000 square feet devoted just to cats. Cats have always shared their lives with me, so growing up, I got to love being around animals. I decided to go into the medical field, but leaned towards animal medicine. I got my associates degree in veterinary technology and then went to a career school to learn to be a veterinary assistant. My passion will always be animals, most especially, felines!

Hi Melanie. Thank you for your question. We do require that kittens be old enough to receive their rabies vaccine and we highly recommend kittens be vaccinated for FVRCP (due to undeveloped immune system).

Hi Erin. The shaves are $85 for a Lion Cut and $95 for a Kitten Clip. They each include the haircut, bath, ear cleaning, nail trim, face cleaning, and blow dry.

From the moment I met her, I could tell this wasn't just a business--it is truly her passion. She has such a kind heart, an incredible work ethic, and a genuine love for animals that you can feel immediately. My standard poodle, Chewy, goes to daycare with Ally , and when we went to Hawaii for nine days, I never once worried about him. Instead of being kept in kennels, the dogs get to live together in a comfortable home environment. They can relax on dog beds, sleep on furniture, play together, and simply be dogs. It's such a refreshing and loving alternative to traditional boarding. One thing that meant the world to me was how often Ally kept me updated. Every morning and every evening she sent me photos and updates of Chewy having fun, relaxing, and making friends. Seeing those pictures while I was away gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation, knowing he was happy, safe, and loved. I also love seeing how much thought she puts into making the dogs' days special. During the hot weather, she even sets up fun water play for them, and it's obvious from every picture that the dogs are having the time of their lives. Although I've only known Ally for a short time, I genuinely admire her. She is young, hardworking, compassionate, and has built something truly special. It's rare to find someone who cares this deeply about every dog in her care. Chewy absolutely loves going there, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to leave him with Allie again. I recommend Ally's Boarding & Daycare wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and happy place for their dog. Every time I read one, my first thought is the same: thank God Nova has Ally and Travis. Nova has been coming here since he was just 6 months old. He's now about to turn 5, which means they've been part of nearly his entire life. They've watched him grow from a timid, reactive puppy into the confident, happy dog he is today. They know his quirks, his routines, what makes him nervous, what makes him excited, and they have loved every version of him along the way. As dog owners, we all know there are very few people we'd trust with our entire heart. That's what our dogs are. They're not just pets, they're family. And somehow Ally and Travis have earned a level of trust that I didn't even know was possible. I've left Nova with them for the longest periods I've ever left him with anyone, and I've never once laid awake wondering if he was okay. There has never been a moment where I questioned whether he was safe, loved, exercised, or cared for. That kind of peace is priceless, and if you're a dog parent, you know exactly what I mean. What means the most to me is that Nova makes the choice himself every single time. The second he realizes where we're going, he's beside himself with excitement. If he doesn't get to see Ally or Travis, he cries. When he does, he runs to them without looking back. As someone whose dog was once fearful of people, seeing him love someone that deeply tells me everything I need to know. Dogs don't fake trust. They don't pretend to feel safe. They either do, or they don't. Nova has never questioned whether Ally and Travis are his people. Over the years, they've been there through my work schedule, my vacations, family emergencies, and every moment in between. They have given me something I can never truly repay: the ability to go through life knowing that the biggest piece of my heart is safe. That feeling is something every dog parent hopes to find, and so few actually do. Even if life takes me somewhere else one day, if I'm ever back in town and need someone to watch Nova, there is no question where he's going. I would drive hours just to leave him with Ally and Travis because trust like this isn't replaceable. They're not just our daycare: they're part of Nova's family. Five years later, after hundreds of drop-offs and pickups, I can say with complete confidence that choosing Ally and Travis was one of the best decisions I've ever made for Nova. I think of it as her second home. I left her for 10 days of boarding recently and when I picked her up, she was of course happy to see me and I didn't notice any signs of stress. She went back to her usual home life easily. They texted me pictures daily of her hanging out with the other dogs or relaxing. I was able to relax on my trip without worrying about her care. We found them on Yelp and, based on the great reviews and ratings, decided to give them a try. We're so glad we did! The entire process was super easy, even though we handled everything over the phone. I mostly communicated with Anna, and she was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. We also paid for our four-night boarding stay through Simon's Zelle account, which made everything very convenient. The grooming was also top-notch! Our Morkie came back looking great, and it was clear that they took good care of her while we were away. We highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again the next time we need boarding or grooming. Thank you again, Anna, Rosa, and Simon, for taking such good care of Bailey and giving us peace of mind while we were enjoying our vacation.

She is very responsive, sends daily updates with photos, and puts your mind at ease while you're away. She was a beautiful backyard for the dogs to play in and takes them on daily walks. She allowed us to drop off Obbi the afternoon before we traveled and didn't charge us! She was also super flexible with pickup time when we returned home.
