Highly recommend this place to bring your fur-babies. My Sher-Khan is so well taken care of by the staff who work here. I really wish I knew the names of the lovely ladies who took care of us today, 10/10/20. A lovely young blonde lady greeted us and the groomer a brunette with short hair (my apologies for not recalling names and giving due credit) were nothing short of professional, amazing, and went out of their way to take care of us. With such a high caliber of customer service I will never go elsewhere. My fur baby and family thank you for your exceptional service.

I always go to Devin for her outstanding work on my cats, however, this time I did go to Rose because I was in a rush to get my cats seen (I still love Devin). Rose did such an amazing job, she was literally the sweetest person I have ever come across, while washing my cats she did notice a couple of things and she did bring it to my attention which I was so grateful for. I cannot express how much this place is wonderful. Thank you so much for what you guys do!

!!! I am back again to review once more on how AMAZING and AWESOME this place is to bring your fur children to get groomed and pampered! Devyn (hoping that's how her name is spelled teehee!) is soooo INCREDIBLY amazing with my Persian baby WEDNESDAY! always leaving my baby so nice and cleaned and well groomed! When My baby Wednesday came back from being groomed by her she was VERY HAPPY!! Shows me how much love and attention devyn was giving her while she was being pampered !! She is the most caring and nurturing kitty whisperer I've met and I'm so happy how well the staff takes care of the kitties and are so attentive to their every needs! Devyn was so kind and sweet to give my boyfriend whom was his first visit yesterday a tour of the center! A MILLION THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! keep SHINING ON will be bringing wednesday back for another bath and nail trim soon devyn!!

My kitten got her first grooming here! She had massive knots all over her and they gave her the best lion cut ever! She looks adorable and seemed very content after I picked her up:) I will definitely be coming back here for her regular grooming !

Ask the Community - California Cat Center

Do you offer cameras in the areas to watch your cat if boarding?

What did we need for our cat to get groomed?

Hi Jo Anna G., thank you for your question. In order for cats to be groomed, we require that they are current on the Rabies vaccine at least 7 to 10 days prior to their appointment. We also require to see the paperwork stating the Rabies vaccine…

Are we able to be with our cat during the grooming? We've had some bad experiences with other groomers and want to be with our cat during the process.

Hello Eileen X, thank you for your question. You are welcome to stay and watch during the grooming process. Please give us a call (818-780-7060) or email us (californiacatcenter@gmail.com) and we can help you further with your grooming inquiry.

How much do you charge per day for cat boarding? I have an older cat who needs a loving place to stay for a week. Thanks.

The cost per night is 60

Hi I have 3 kittens that really need a flea bath, are you guys able to take them a flea bath with no vaccines?

Hi Melanie. Thank you for your question. We do require that kittens be old enough to receive their rabies vaccine and we highly recommend kittens be vaccinated for FVRCP (due to undeveloped immune system).

    Do you provide dental services?

Hi Jennifer. Thanks for your question. We don't offer any dental services.

Do you provide nail trim and how much?

Hi Svetlana. We do offer nail trims for $18 (all 4 paws).

How much did it cost for a cat to board for a couple of weeks?

Hi Tamarah. We charge $50 per night. If you cat was boarding for 3 weeks (at least 21 days) we offer a 10% discount.

How much is a grooming session, like to shave the cat for summer? I looked on the website and here and no prices are listed

Hi Erin. The shaves are $85 for a Lion Cut and $95 for a Kitten Clip. They each include the haircut, bath, ear cleaning, nail trim, face cleaning, and blow dry.

Im in the process of moving and I have 3 kittens that aren't vaccinated yet or altered but I do intend to take care of that. What are your requirements for a cat to stay with you guys?

Hi Kimberly, We do require that all cats be at least 6 months old, spay/neutered and up-to-date on their FVRCP & Rabies vaccines. If a cat(s) does not meet those…

Do you care for diabetic cats that need insulin?

Hi Brenda, Yes we do. There a charge for administering medication, it's $10 per administration and…

Will this clinic work with someone who has low income? I have a sick cat who needs emergency care, but I'm on medical disability. She needs to see a vet ASAP because she hasn't eaten in 2 days.

Tana, I do not know if a vet is on staff at the center. They graciously helped me with the…

Lately, I've seen so many heartbreaking stories about doggy daycares: dogs getting hurt, neglected, escaping, or simply not being treated with the love they deserve. Every time I read one, my first thought is the same: thank God Nova has Ally and Travis. Nova has been coming here since he was just 6 months old. He's now about to turn 5, which means they've been part of nearly his entire life. They've watched him grow from a timid, reactive puppy into the confident, happy dog he is today. They know his quirks, his routines, what makes him nervous, what makes him excited, and they have loved every version of him along the way. As dog owners, we all know there are very few people we'd trust with our entire heart. That's what our dogs are. They're not just pets, they're family. And somehow Ally and Travis have earned a level of trust that I didn't even know was possible. I've left Nova with them for the longest periods I've ever left him with anyone, and I've never once laid awake wondering if he was okay. There has never been a moment where I questioned whether he was safe, loved, exercised, or cared for. That kind of peace is priceless, and if you're a dog parent, you know exactly what I mean. What means the most to me is that Nova makes the choice himself every single time. The second he realizes where we're going, he's beside himself with excitement. If he doesn't get to see Ally or Travis, he cries. When he does, he runs to them without looking back. As someone whose dog was once fearful of people, seeing him love someone that deeply tells me everything I need to know. Dogs don't fake trust. They don't pretend to feel safe. They either do, or they don't. Nova has never questioned whether Ally and Travis are his people. Over the years, they've been there through my work schedule, my vacations, family emergencies, and every moment in between. They have given me something I can never truly repay: the ability to go through life knowing that the biggest piece of my heart is safe. That feeling is something every dog parent hopes to find, and so few actually do. Even if life takes me somewhere else one day, if I'm ever back in town and need someone to watch Nova, there is no question where he's going. I would drive hours just to leave him with Ally and Travis because trust like this isn't replaceable. They're not just our daycare: they're part of Nova's family. If you're scrolling through reviews wondering whether this is the right place for your dog, I hope this helps. Five years later, after hundreds of drop-offs and pickups, I can say with complete confidence that choosing Ally and Travis was one of the best decisions I've ever made for Nova. They have loved him like he was their own, and I will spend the rest of his life being grateful for that.

Because of this, I decided "heck, I can afford for someone else to do this if it makes my life easier." I could not be happier with the deals and multi-visit packages being offered here. For $400, I got a total of 10 visits for the year! Granted, she is on the mini side of things, but if you look at prices literally anywhere else... this kind of deal is unheard of. To top this all off, my Pebbles is an anxious chatty type and a drama queen all in one, which has been a frequent complaint we have received from other groomers since she was a puppy. Here, she's heard and appreciated as a funny little girl with a big heart and personality. I also included some pics of my girl for reference on the price that I paid. AND for all dog parents reading this, keep in mind the price also varies by the weight of your furry friends.

I am extremely sad to give this update, because my dog Dillon has been going to Andy's for a while…read moreand they've always been very good about fitting him into the schedule & just being overall cool people to deal with. He always comes back smelling well and they give him a seasonal handkerchief around his neck. Little touches that made the pricey de-shedding and grooming fees worth it ($125 for a grooming of large dog, 85lbs). I wanted to simply address this to a manager via email to show photos, but their contact form on the site is impersonal and gives no email address and no opportunity to upload photos. On his last visit on Friday, my dog came home panting and not wagging his tail. I just thought he missed me, but it felt out of place, more like a "hyperventilation" type panting. I didn't think anything of it until the next day, as I was petting him, I felt bloody scabs across his head. Till today I find more that's hidden in his long fur. I'm super sad because Andy's has done a great job with his de-shedding, and I know it's no easy task with his fur. But, he is the mildest-mannered service animal for kids with autism. He doesn't bite or bark or squirm, so to have big gashes like this on multiple parts of his skin after a grooming is a red flag. I won't be sending him to Andy's anymore. Very sad about it, but this isn't how you treat a dog or long-time customer. You disclose the cuts and address how to help treat them.
