I took my dog in to get shots updated so we can get his nails cut at Petco I went outside to the car for one moment I came back in, and I heard my dog scream, screaming in the I asked my son if they're cleaning his ears? He told me no, that they were weighing him. My dog came back with a fat balloon, ear called ear hematoma When I called the office, I got no response regarding what happened to my dog in the back The hematoma means the dog needs surgery. My dog is 12 1/2 years old Maybe, it was an accident. I have been coming to this office since 2021, and while I want to clarify that Dr. Hanna was always honest and compassionate, the rest of the practice has devolved into a cold, transactional factory. After my experience on March 14th, I will never set foot in this building again. I called to make the agonizing, gut-wrenching decision to say a final goodbye to my dog. After being put on hold and then hung up on, I finally reached a staff member who was the definition of a heartless robot. While I was in the middle of a life-shattering crisis, this man treated me with a "car dealer" coldness that was frankly disgusting. He actually had the audacity to tell me I "picked a horrible day" to come in because they were "so busy on Saturdays." Let me be very clear: Nobody "picks" the day their beloved pet dies. It is a tragedy, not an "inconvenience" for your weekend schedule. To be talked to like a nuisance during my most vulnerable moment is a shameful failure of basic human decency. The fact that he only attempted to flip a switch and be "kind" once he realized I was a regular patient is even more insulting. Compassion shouldn't be a tiered service based on your database--it should be a requirement for the job. If you work in a veterinary office and can't summon a shred of empathy for a grieving owner, you are in the wrong profession. You do not get to be a rude, inconsiderate robot when people are saying goodbye. I found an amazing, truly compassionate vet elsewhere who handled this difficult time with the grace my dog deserved. I brought my dog in for a routine vaccination, but the veterinarian refused to administer it simply because my dog is large. ​It was clear the vet was intimidated by his size, despite the fact that he was behaving fine. As a veterinary professional, you expect a clinic to be equipped and trained to handle dogs of all breeds and sizes. If a vet is "scared" of large breeds, they shouldn't be seeing them at all. ​It was a waste of my time and a disservice to my dog. When your pet is sick you just don't want to wait for your regular Vet to see them, right?! You want some one to take care of them NOW! My 12 year old Shih tzu's vet was unavailable for a few days and it was not something that could wait. We were referred here by Dr. Oh in Van Nuys since they were a "Walk - in" clinic and opened until 8:00pm. I called them and they were able to see Roscoe an hour later. We rushed over and waited amongst the other patients. The front staff were all so nice and the vet assistants, especially Ani, were amazing!!!!~ Dr. Faltas looked at Roscoe and recommended some blood work. They took him to the back where he stayed for a few hours. Ani kept coming out to give us updates which we were very grateful for. We closed the Clinic down, lol, but had a better idea of what was causing Roscoe's health issue. It was reasonably priced but the lab work hiked up the price. Happy to say that Dr. Faltas pretty much nailed the issue and within 3 days, Roscoe was getting better! I highly recommend this Veterinary Center. After leaving a one-star review reflecting my honest opinion and experience with their services, I was subjected to repeated and unwanted contact from their staff, behavior I find highly unprofessional and frankly disturbing. I received 18 phone calls from their number in a short span of time. When I finally answered, I spoke with someone named Emily, who was extremely rude. I told her that I did not wish to be contacted any further and wanted no future involvement with the clinic. Instead of respecting that, she became argumentative and accused me of calling her 20 times, which is completely FALSE! When I asked for proof or records of these alleged calls, she claimed she had none. What's more troubling is that I began receiving calls from "No Caller ID" numbers shortly afterward, which I strongly suspect is connected to this situation. This entire experience has been incredibly stressful. Harassing a former client over a review instead of addressing the feedback professionally is unacceptable behavior for any business, let alone one entrusted with the care of beloved pets. If you value professionalism, boundaries, and respectful communication, I strongly urge you to reconsider bringing your pet here. It took me a while to write this review, but here I am. Let's start with the horrible management and staff, especially Veterinary doctor Henna, who never takes complaints about his team seriously. He clearly doesn't know what he's doing, and I regret wasting my time and money at their office. I had been going to that vet office for years, buying pet food every month. I noticed that they put damaged pet food cans back in the opened boxes, hoping to sell them to unsuspecting customers. One time, I found mold inside a can of food after I paid for it and came back home. I had to be hyper-aware each time I shopped there to avoid picking out damaged cans. Last year, a new manager named Tomas yelled at me when I was trying to look for the cans that were damaged but left in the box. He even threatened me. The another vet office manager Dante also refused to give me the prescribed food for my pet after I paid for the visit, simply because I expressed my dissatisfaction with their awful customer service. When I complained to another manager, Dante, he was equally rude and took the side of the staff rather than addressing my concerns. Some of the staff members in that office are incredibly rude and unprofessional. They were charged me a fee in advance just to make any appointments. If you're late, they will extra charge you as if you walked in without an appointment. But If you go on time they will make you wait for so long as you are not counted nothing but the dollar sign for them. The owner is placing unqualified people in charge, and it shows. They also offer discounts to anyone who writes a positive review for them, so don't believe what you read positive because It could come from the discount. One time a staff offered me a ten dollar discount just to write a positive review on Yelp for them, but I never did. read more

This review has been a long time coming. Our dog, Coco, became very sick in February 2024. Initially, we took her to a "prestigious" pet hospital in Studio City, as we weren't aware of Pet Cure in Reseda. Looking back, I wish we had brought Coco here from the start. We might have been able to save Coco's leg. To make a long story short, Coco needed bandage treatments for about four months before her left front leg was amputated. This hospital is incredibly reasonable and doesn't charge for unnecessary procedures. They are also willing to work with you on costs, which was such a relief. Their prices are approximately 40% lower than those at True Care for Pets. Words can't express how grateful I am for everything the staff at Pet Cure did for Coco. The vets and vet techs were patient and thorough, answering all the questions I had. Dr. Hanna, JP (the vet tech), and the rest of the team treated & took excellent care of Coco. Coco never experienced anxiety everytime we were there. Everyone there loves Coco and is always so happy to see her. Even after her amputation, Coco never showed any signs of stress or trauma. Some people complain about the cost and waiting times here, but I've been to corporate owned pet hospitals, and they charge an arm and a leg. Waiting can be frustrating, but I didn't mind it. You'll encounter the same issue at other pet hospitals. These videos were taken during our visit five months post-op, we brought Coco in to have her teeth cleaned. WOW. Today almost 3 months after all the trauma from my last visit the owner decides to send me mail to "drop me" as a client. I guess they have NO IDEA what's going on in their own practice since I found a new vet immediately after their workers risked my kittens life multiple times in the less than month I was going there. I had also written a review detailing the horror. "Displeasure with our service" yeah shockingly over dosing my kitten by 6x on meds and forcing a vaccination when he had a fever which even the manager stated was unacceptable was not pleasing...having to spend thousands to save his life after he almost lost it there just to suddenly get this letter is another slap in the face.
