I would not recommend this place! Before driving over, I called and specifically asked what the exam fee would be. I told them I was only about 15 minutes away and was coming straight in. I arrived exactly when I said I would, and the price had suddenly changed. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch. If your pricing changes at a certain time, tell the customer when they're on the phone and saying they are on the way, not after they've already arrived. When I questioned it, the manager was unprofessional and unwilling to honor the price their own staff had quoted me just minutes earlier over the phone. There was no accountability and no attempt to make the situation right. I can easily afford the difference, but that's not the point. I don't appreciate being misled. I told them I was deeply disappointed with how they handled the situation and that I would be leaving an honest review. They didn't seem to care at all. I genuinely feel bad for the owner if this is the level of customer service being provided. The worst part was that my dog was sitting there in pain while we argued over something that should have been simple.I left and went to another veterinary clinic down the street, where my dog was seen within minutes and received excellent care. If a business won't stand behind the price they quote over the phone, it's hard to trust them with anything more important. I imagine their final bill would have been ridiculous. My 12 year old Shih tzu's vet was unavailable for a few days and it was not something that could wait. We were referred here by Dr. Oh in Van Nuys since they were a "Walk - in" clinic and opened until 8:00pm. I called them and they were able to see Roscoe an hour later. We rushed over and waited amongst the other patients. The front staff were all so nice and the vet assistants, especially Ani, were amazing!!!!~ Dr. Faltas looked at Roscoe and recommended some blood work. They took him to the back where he stayed for a few hours. Ani kept coming out to give us updates which we were very grateful for. We closed the Clinic down, lol, but had a better idea of what was causing Roscoe's health issue. It was reasonably priced but the lab work hiked up the price. Happy to say that Dr. Faltas pretty much nailed the issue and within 3 days, Roscoe was getting better! I highly recommend this Veterinary Center. After being put on hold and then hung up on, I finally reached a staff member who was the definition of a heartless robot. While I was in the middle of a life-shattering crisis, this man treated me with a "car dealer" coldness that was frankly disgusting. He actually had the audacity to tell me I "picked a horrible day" to come in because they were "so busy on Saturdays." Let me be very clear: Nobody "picks" the day their beloved pet dies. It is a tragedy, not an "inconvenience" for your weekend schedule. To be talked to like a nuisance during my most vulnerable moment is a shameful failure of basic human decency. The fact that he only attempted to flip a switch and be "kind" once he realized I was a regular patient is even more insulting. Compassion shouldn't be a tiered service based on your database--it should be a requirement for the job. If you work in a veterinary office and can't summon a shred of empathy for a grieving owner, you are in the wrong profession. You do not get to be a rude, inconsiderate robot when people are saying goodbye. I found an amazing, truly compassionate vet elsewhere who handled this difficult time with the grace my dog deserved. Bad customer service. The vet and the manager don't acknowledge your rights. They will mistreat you, empting your pockets, neglecting your pets then telling you, If you are not happy, don't come and kick you out like a trash. They offer discounts to people for writing fake positives for them. They offered me and I didn't do. I stopped going there after their manger Tomas started to treat me abusively. This wasn't the solo incident, discrimination, abuse and neglect is something usual in that office. Someone should drag these people to court for them to understand they don't have any rights to mistreat people like that. Dr. Hanna, a doctor who yells and gossip and kick people out doesn't deserve to be call a doctor. First you should understand others have their rights too. You had a horrible office with Tomas and Donte as managers, and I am happy to not see them anymore. I received 18 phone calls from their number in a short span of time. When I finally answered, I spoke with someone named Emily, who was extremely rude. I told her that I did not wish to be contacted any further and wanted no future involvement with the clinic. Instead of respecting that, she became argumentative and accused me of calling her 20 times, which is completely FALSE! When I asked for proof or records of these alleged calls, she claimed she had none. What's more troubling is that I began receiving calls from "No Caller ID" numbers shortly afterward, which I strongly suspect is connected to this situation. This entire experience has been incredibly stressful. Harassing a former client over a review instead of addressing the feedback professionally is unacceptable behavior for any business, let alone one entrusted with the care of beloved pets. If you value professionalism, boundaries, and respectful communication, I strongly urge you to reconsider bringing your pet here.
