Brought my designer purse here hearing that they were really good. It's a vintage piece so a little worked needed to hopefully look new again. WRONG! My vintage family owned LV was restitched horribly. my original rivets were missing - one was replaced with some random old rivet. And one was just a missing rivet. WTH?!?! Along with that there glue all over the purse. When asking him, he didn't know and said it come like that. And I had to explain to him it was one that was missing now I'm left with one. He said he'd look in the back for it and which he was grumpily doing and sighing loudly to make it known he's obviously bothered. He then refused to fix it or even acknowledge that it was even a problem! I showed him how much the rivets were to replace it he took the purse away when I asked him I would like my purse to be the way it was. He went to the back and ignored me until I threatened the police to come as he was unwilling to even give me my purse back. He even dared say I was looking for a discount when all I wanted was what I was promised in fixing my purse! I don't need a discount! I want my purse the way it was without missing pieces! Then the audacity to say it was fake! Even more Insulting! I paid $90 for his horrible work, unprofessionalism, and poor customer service!! This is a complete nightmare.. Brought 2 pairs of my sons basketball shoes to get the sole re glued one pair had completely fell off and the other pair just had lil areas which had to be reguled so I waited a week to come to pick them up and when I show up to get them he brings out both pairs and he points to the one that he had to fully regule and says that there's a piece missing and that whoever tried to regule it before him cut it , then as I was looking at it I said to myself I'm the only one that tried before And there's no way I would cut the sole of my shoe then bring it and pay $50 for him to fix it at that point I would just throw away the damn shoe but didn't want to stand there and argue with the man . read more

I am a tall woman therefore I have big feet. Not just that, I paid my collegiate athlete "surgery" dues on my poor feet per a bunionectomy (too much information!). And you thought those were reserved for 81 year old woman! Well, so did I. So I don't mess around with crappy shoes. Shoes that mess up your feet. My poor feet have been through too much. I invest in quality shoes made in Spain and the likes, shoes that will match my white snake skin jacket. Zzzzap!! I just offended all the vegans. When my shoes are looking and feeling a little down in the dumps, I take them here. It's a Korean mom and pop shop in a strip mall highlighted by Big Lots. They barely speak English and don't have business cards - just use post-its instead. They charge $12 to repair shoes that look like they belong in a land field. When you get your shoes back after the repair, you will want to cry, ladies, you know what I'm talking about! They perform miracles! Please, don't throw out your old shoes just to buy more. It's wasteful and by fixing them you are not only helping the enviro but also the Mom & Pops. Also you won't feel bad about buying really expensive shoes, because you know they'll last! read more

I am sorry. I took a pair of Payless high heeled suede boots to these people on Wednesday. I was missing a heel and the stiching had come undone on the back of them and they were looking pretty mangy. The guy (100 year old asian shoe repair god) looked at my shoes and wrote $10 and my phone number on a piece of masking tape, took my money and said "Tomorrow". I was looking for a place to fix my blown out boots, which my friends are sick of seeing me wear, when I found this place on yelp. Since I'm not ready to part ways with my beloved footwear I would pay any price to have them back in my life. I had read the owner did not speak english, but was still shocked when the only communication exchanged after briefly looking at my shoes was two firm "NO!"s, and a head shake. I had recently brought in an alligator purse to have the handles extended, and it came out completely ruined with multiple layers of glue and other materials stuffed in between the leather straps, nothing remotely close to what I had requested. My favorite purse was totally disfigured singlehandedly by the owner who was absent when I came back to pick up this nightmarish repair one week later. First off my shoe repair was great, for the most part. They did a half sole repair and cleaned the shoes but the repaired portion of the shoe was white when I have a black shoe, slight annoyance. I couldn't find my ticket which happens to me occasionally when I'm on the go so they brought up a different pair of shoes, that weren't mine, no I didn't take them. I finally left to go find my ticket, after I brought back my ticket it was easier except when I tried to ask about the different color sole, which he didn't understand my question, so I just left. But overall I got my shoes usable and cleaned. read more

I took a shot and took 5 pairs of shoes into the shop, which is near my house. 4 of my shoes were attended to in an ok fashion - 3 simply needed new heels and though the repair didn't necessarily look top notch, they were fine - 1 pair was pretty shredded and they made them wearable again. So why the one star? My 5th pair needed new liners - I had tried to repair them with no success. When I dropped them off I specifically communicated that they needed to be replaced, not just glued again. Yes, there is a language barrier, but he assured me that he could do it. When I arrived to pick them up they had not been fixed, rather he had simply tried to glue the liner back down, it still was peeling off and the glue had run onto the sole of the shoe. When I (nicely) tried to explain that this wasn't what I wanted he took the shoes into the back and added more glue. Again I explained that this wasn't what I wanted and he told me that he hadn't charged me for the glue. Ok - still not acceptable. I was willing to leave them and pay to have them done correctly, but it became clear that it probably wasn't going to happen, so I left dissatisfied. The biggest problem I had, was not any sort of miscommunication or language barrier, but the lack of assessment of the situation. It was clear that the "gluing" wasn't fixing the problem, yet he made no attempt to correctly address the problem, and when I expressed that it wasn't pleased with the results there was no willingness to correct the situation, instead he made it worse with more glue. He had no interest in working with me to rectify the situation. I think this shows a lack of ownership in the job he does. I would suggest going to a shop where the staff takes their work seriously and will be able to assess and effectively address whatever your shoes need. read more

There were some language barriers with the lady at the counter, but I got what I wanted. My shoes were fixed to my satisfaction and it was an ok deal. I would go back again. If you have a pair of shoes you can't part with and need it restored, this place does the job. You get a quote before hand (if they can do the job) and you pay upfront if you like the price. No surprises there. Their hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday thru Saturday, I think. They also hem pants for 6 dollars per pair. I did not get that done though. read more

He even called me to let me know my shoe was ready. The reason why I was looking for a new cobbler was only because my previous one was not very friendly and did not seem to appreciate my business. Been Around for decades. One of two places I take by Cowboy boots, Docs, and High End dress shoes... My GF brings her designer shoes for heel tips and recently her older designer purses for repair when warranty passed. Prices are reasonable, but they are at least honest about prices and what you are getting. Shoes almost look like new but It is never going to look like new since they are older shoes but better than spending $$$ on new pair. read more
