Enter my mom - she loves to come to Gioi Shoes to get a new sole added to her high heels, boots, etc. so I came with her one day to drop off my boots to get a new sole and the leather cleaned. While I'm pretty fluent in Vietnamese, I still had my mommy help me communicate with the lady at the front although I could've done it myself lol. The drop off process was pretty easy as you tell them what service you would like, they write it on a card, and then also provide the price and a timeline. To get a new sole and a cleaning, it was $40... which is actually insane to me. I picked up my new boots and they looked BANGING! I'm so glad I am supporting a local business, saved money, and less waste on the earth.

I was busy the week of 12/3 so I reach out on 12/8 to see if I can pick them up and he tells me they still aren't ready because his cobbler has been busy. I ask him to please have them ready by 12/12 and when I pick them up today they aren't exactly what I asked for. I made it SUPER clear when I dropped them off that I did not want the vibram covering any of the sizing numbers and you can clearly see the entire first row is covered and it's not even a straight cut on the right shoe. I also asked him to sole the entire heel and he didn't even touch it. The heels are the exact same as when I dropped them off. So I waited almost a month to not even get what I paid for.

The wife is extremely rude and mean. I took five pairs of shoes, and they rushed through the repairs, failing to fix one pair. I was so upset when I left that I didn't even check. She charged me $250 for it, which is outrageous. Don't go to this place; it should be shut down.
